I'll give Feeble Lord's Frenzied Flame this: It will make you cry in PvP. The madness build up on those projectiles is so absurd that you can reliably win fights with the torch alone. The thing had its status NERFED because it was that good. A torch managing to earn a nerf says a lot if you ask me.

Nerd speak here, the speed of lightning is sorted in two speeds. The speed of the way down is a lot slower, but the rapid crackle going back up (the actual "light"ning) is about a third of lightspeed at its fastest intervals. Lightspeed is insane.
I truly love leda's blade for pvp because it's so much more FP efficient than Law of Regression, while still purging buffstackers and making them look like a jackass who just spent 80% of their FP on buffs. I've seen a lot of opponents whose build relies on their physic flask just alt-f4 as soon as they see I have Leda's blade equipped.
Honestly, the best Fire Knight repellant is the Smithscript Shield. It does just enough poise damage to stagger them with every single hit, and staggers just long enough to throw it again. Just throw until they die or take a knee, they can't stop you. It's hilarious, to the point where I've taken to calling it the Disc of Disrespect. If I don't fuckin feel like fighting you? You're getting the Disc. You're getting nothing _but_ the Disc, and you will take it until you can't take anymore.
Actually, putting firebreather on an axe was a stroke of genius from the devs as it made people more thankful for the actually cool ashes in the DLC, truly a mastermind play

Something funny that I've noticed is that Flame Skewer can actually outdamage Flame Spear. Due to the followup being pure fire damage on Flame Skewer, if you put it on a Flame Art FKGS with stuff like the Fire Scorpions Charm, Shard of Alexander and the Flame Shrouding Cracked Tear, it actually does more than a fully charged Flame Spear with the Godfrey Icon. (I may be wrong on this, but every time i tested it, that was the case)
Wing stance is my favourite simply because it’s fun to use. It has options, it has good flow, it doesn’t devalue the base moveset and it just looks cool
Want to have some fun? Carian sovereignty does 120 stance dmg when you use the stone barbed cracked tear in your physick and land both fully charged hits. Slap it on a greatsword and you have yourself enough hyperarmor to land both hits on most enemies, even bosses. I was able to COMPLETELY staggerlock dts with it because he stares at you for 5 seconds before attacking, which is just enough time to fully charge the attack
I will defend Scattershot throw for the following reasons: *Has better range and is more likely to hit a moving enemy like bats (or those annoying dragonflies.) *Low FP cost and is basically free with the Filigree Crest or the Sapphire dewdrop *Instant procs any status effect if you shotgun up close. *Activates the headshot animation on nearly every enemy. It trivializes Runebears and Nights Cavalry and can stunlock them. It's pretty good, and with the Scriptsmith daggers low weight I almost always keep it on the second or third slot as a backup.
Carian Sovereignty can hit like such an oil tanker man. I have hosts and other summons just looking absolutely confused at how a scaled HP pool can get absolutely disintegrated. Done right, you can easily get a boss with some 23k damage, which is by all means absolutely nuts. That's close enough damage to being Consort Radahn into phase 2.
I'd argue that Flowerbolt is a little high up simply because of how easily it whiffs when you are on a slightly different elevation than your opponent. In coliseum matches, it tends to overshoot opponents and it really whiffs on smaller enemies overall.
14:58 It does tecnnically scale with both if you are on cold or magic infusion, however going keen and sacraficing all your int scaling gives it the best damage even at 99/99.
Roaring bash is actually goated in PVP. I use it all the time. Pairs well with the milady because you can stagger and then immediately nail them with an RT. Cancels/staggers almost every attack unless they have high poise plus a major hyper armor attack. It activates pretty quickly which is great for a mid fight block/bash. If you roaring bash someone while they’re guarding, you get a free critical hit. But yes it sucks for PVE. Looks badass when you’re wearing Rhadan’s boots while holding it though!
Now now, Igon's drake hunt is actually useful as it gives hyper armor and if scream stuns opponent it true combos into them eating the arrow to the face. It's more pvp focused then anything (probably also the reason we can change the skill on igon great bow to then absolutely decimate dragon with a rain of harpoons)
This video has taught me that: From really just made everything mid and that makes me like this dlc a lot less cause why would I wanna fight all the hard bosses if the rewards are all shit?

Crucible Wing had 0 excuse, it should have been an incantation. There is already many spells that creates a blade projection to hit the enemy. It could easily create a holy sword projection being cast from a seal, instead of needing a weapon.

Sword of Light is Lothric’s Holy Sword but actually kinda good.
Meta doesn’t matter, what does is if you like it in a blind playthrough. Still a good ranking though, and you don’t exclusively focus on optimization
