I need to say something about Shamens village. It is my favorite area in the whole game cuz of my attachment to it The dlc came out on my birthday and elden ring is my fav game of all time. My dad knew this and decided to help pay for the collectors edition. 2 weeks before it came out he tragically passed away. During my first playthrough of the of the dlc I came across the village and it was so heartwarming After the stream I revisited it and spent several hrs laying near the erdtree sprout reflecting on The game, the memories of my dad and how it has shaped my life Me and dad always had issues but months before his passing we were able to overcome our issues and in a way this village felt like a place I could come to terms with everything. All the good and the bad. Lay everything to rest, move on with my life but never forget what happened. The village was a nice peaceful reward after long hard fought battles…it felt like a symbol of all the issues me and my dad faced but how we ended things on good terms Rest in peace dad. I love you and miss you
honestly it drives me insane that the plateau isnt real. it could have been a 500 ft ladder in a corner leading to a nice view and an arteria leaf and i would have been happy but it just straight up doesn't exist
@@Bdog-kx5wp there’s two actually, the plateau above the first archway into Belurat from the Gravesite Plains, and the plateau mentioned in the video in Rauh Ruins, on top of the roots directly to your right when entering that area from Shadow Keep. Both are inaccessible, and it’s maddening…
1:00 actually the hornsent all overhydrate since all of their piss magic is pale compared to the standard game piss; therefore, we now know all Hornsent magic comes from the kidneys and they all have amazing water drinking routines.
One critique, the audio seems more peaky/drowning in bass than your previous videos but the scripting, pacing and cadence is amazing as always! Great work Tark!
Thanks for pointing this out. I had a feeling this was the case. I've got a new setup and I tried to get the settings as close as possible to what they were but it seems I need to tweak them more.
7:55 having just gotten back from a Japan trip and having seen about half the locations used in this footage is extremely trippy, lol (eg. 8:22 is the Kanda Myojin temple)
belurat tower was the final legacy dungeon i visited in the dlc, and midras manse was the second lmfao. i loved this dlc. elden ring is an amazing game
i recorded half a playthrough but had to stop because it was too much footage, but now that i got some more storage, i can continue playing again my plans can change in the future but at this point i intend on making one eventually
The reason the finger ruins have no merch is because Ymir bought it all and was planning to resell his fingers at outrageous prices, meanwhile Metyr was trying to contact the Greater Will for a restock but has so far been unable
The dlc was refreshing af, like dang, those views were utterly gorgeous. Every part of the map afflicted me with the feeling of the Altus plateau’s comfort, the awe of Liurnia’s skybox, & the DANG of Farum Azula all at once. And ofc the soundtracks wrapped them up so well. Visually, Fromsoft cooked.
