My top picks from Silverstone Auctions September & Porsche sale

- Silverstone Auction have two sales coming up, the first is the Porsche sale on the 28th September(tomorrow) then there's a general sale on Saturday 29th September. I went along on setup day and here's my selection of some of the cars going under the hammer.

I love these videos. The Grand Tour can spend 10's of millions on production, but I'd still rather watch Harry with a single camera and no make up any day of the week.

I really love watching Harry doing these simple productions. I've never had any money or success in my life whatsoever, despite having a professional job. One problem is not having inherited anything and you can't start a business without initial investment. So my cars have always been complete shit. Therefore, it's really nice seeing these videos to see how the other tier of Britain live. Private education, BUPA, inheritance, and this. Thanks and keep it up.

Harry’s really selling it here! That Murcielago is beautiful! Still easily the best looking Lambo ever made (Miura included!) for me anyway.
There was a wealthy (and no doubt independent thinking) elderly matron, living in an old-money estate on the “Gold Coast” of Long Island, that had a pink 1974 Lamborghini Espada Series III, complete with white leather interior, a 3.9-liter V-12 and a five-speed manual transmission... she drove it weekly and participated in numerous club events - also had it restored to a degree that it was a Pebble Beach Concours award winner, and ultimately it sold on a BAT auction, in January 2018, with about 115k miles on it!
last week i took my brother down to prestige miami where there was chiron, veyons, paganis but his heart jumped when he saw a Diablo lurking in the back! enough said!

Diablo SV! The best looking Diablo in my eyes ... and probably the best looking ever. Why? Well, Diablo was the car of my childhood - I have it everywhere in my house - crappy scale models, small pictures from Turbo gums, big posters, etc. I still remember that I've watched Auto,Motor and Sport and the best moment (every time) was a side shot of a blue Diablo (probably VT) in the opening. It was absolutely amazing looking. I recorded in on a video cassette and from time to time (quite often) I played the cassette and pause to this shot. I also remember how my mother was amazed by the fact that I'm watching some "boring" race on Eurosport mostly after midnight. I watched it mainly because there was some 15 minutes before the race itself where they show the cars from a close and I was able to see details. So awesome.
Great video Harry. Actually went there yesterday and was so much atmosphere and cars for the money. Paid 10£ because the two auctions, but was worth it and an outstanding event. A pity some cars did not sale, my favourite was the Chiaro Blue Ferrari 348 Spider, need to go to Garda lake with one of them one day...the Diablo was amazing in the flesh
Splendid selection of cars. Would love to have the financial means required to not only attend attend something like this but going for a bit of car shopping as well. The Diablo SV is always a looker (and a favorite since when NFS 3 was new and hot) but that Quattro and pair of Porche 968s looks like a proper amount of fun as well.

I really enjoy these videos. Looks like the quattro bonnet at 6:08 is a different shade of colour to the wings. Even from a distance at 9:39 it looks off.

Interesting Euro cars I’ve never even seen in person.....except I owned a Quattro Coupe decades ago and saw a few MB S600s (German V12!!)

The sv in that yellow with the jota pack is one of the last real supercars in retrospect now that I’ve grown compared to everything that came out after it.. Will always be on my list of top cars
