I put this up on the TV for the family. This was joy to watch.
Awesome, thank you! 🙂
We all love a Harry's Garage vid 👌
An Aquaholic/Harry Metcalfe collaboration is the thing we're all waiting for now.
That would indeed be great. Two connoisseurs having a chat together...
And Harry has a Princess in the South Of France.
Come for the classic cars, stay for Nick's pronunciations. ;-) There were so many blasts from the past during that tour; never mind memory lane, that was memory motorway in rush hour! Loved it Nick!
It was supposed to be a 5 minute video - didn't end up that way! 😄
Oh LOOK , a grown man in a sweet shop....NO its just Nick being himself. Brilliant! The same passion for anything that catches the eye. Thank's for the enthusiasm yo show when taking us along with you.
About to film a Porsche and suddenly, "Forget the Porsche, it's a Ford Capri"...later, comes around a car and "OOOHH, Another Capri"! lol! Gotta love it when a fellow "Gearhead" sees something he likes! Glad you're going to do a video on the RV and love to see that like me you get the most excited in a room full of cars with the ones that have movie and TV connections to them, or to memories of your past! That was also so in the case of boats when you did the Miami Vice speedboat (and filming locations!)! Another great Vlog 👍 Thanks for giving us a view of car nirvana. Good camera work showing the cars.
Love my Capris! One day I'll get one as a classic
Great video, right up my alley! Love the variety on your reviews. Boats, motor homes, houses and now collectable cars. Can't wait to see what's next!
I wonder whether I could get aboard a private jet for a tour... 🤔
I love the dark blue/grey cars. They just look so elegant.
Ah that was a blast down memory lane...... so many beautiful cars.... the sounds you made on the bmw m1.... 😍❤️👌 I didn’t hear them again on any other in that way.. guessing that was your favourite... 🤔
The testorossa, gorgeous car to drive and absolutely timeless. ❤️
And then you found a few cars I owned but the one that still sticks in my mind is the Renault 5 rear engine.... absolute animal too drive, engine just behind you on full tilt, brilliant car! Loved it and still do ❤️
Great walk round.... 👍🏻
When I was young my all time favourite was the 928 .brilliant watching you talking about cars as well as my favourite things boats! 😀👍
I love them so much!
Every one a gem 💎. It's difficult to pick from most of these classics although the Jensen Interceptor Mk III is one of my favourites especially with that 7.2 V8 burbling away beneath the bonnet.
Cannot argue with that!
Love your enthusiasm and appreciation of fine lines!
Who else went to Silverstone Auctions straight after watching this and viewed the lots? some of the estimates were lower than I thought they would be!
Love your passion for the Capri's... made me smile!
Yeah Nick you and Harry should do a joint vid that would be great. Both your Aquaholic and Harry's Garage are the best UA-cam channels I'm sure you could sort something out definitely worth considering.
Nice idea, maybe one day!
@@MOTAHOLIC also Tyrells classic workshop and Harry's farm I think there's potential for an all mighty tieup/crossover series of vids here! the Sunseeker Hawk 34 project ace! looking forward to seeing how that progresses!
Mmm, my kind of wonderland. great video as always Nick
That old Citroen - It looks like someone sat on the front of the bonnet for too long waiting for the Mrs. to finish up in the shops 😂
As a refinement of my first comment, may I suggest that to avoid clashing with Harry's garage you could make it a "meet the owner" feature. I think it would be wonderful to hear the reality of the experience of owning a classic car. Thanks again Nick!
I have simple tastes....I'll take the red Porsche 356B.
Wow, that was fabulous, thanks so much 😁
A good friend of mine had a Porsche 928, he actually bought it on my recommendation. He loved it. We had many happy trips in that beauty 👍
Awesome!
I think we can safely say, this video was - 'Stunning'!!
Thanks! 😄
Very cool, I always liked the 2.8i Capri but never had one. I remember seeing one at Santa Pod with a huge V8 with blowers, it literally hopped off the start line and screamed the quarter mile 😁.
A former neighbour had one and fitted the Sierra 4x4 engine and running gear, yep, a four wheel drive Capri ! 😍🤘
Aaaahhhhh capris, lol.👍
I think it was " The World is not Enough" that had the z8 in it. You're right though about it's beauty - a bit of a modern classic
You are absolutely right, of course it was!
That Jensen......and the older Porsche models, so fantastic. Great video sir.
Glad you enjoyed it
This is a really fun diversion from boats, thanks Nick! It would be great if you could do video tours / test drives of classic cars. Please start with an Aston MARTIN V8 convertible a la Keith Floyd. Every time I pass through the UK I buy Classic Car magazine just to drool over the cars for sale, but that hasn't been possible this last year for obvious reasons. It would be wonderful to get your take on the cars and the driving experience. Thank you so much!
OMG still drooling. One of each please!!
Nick is just like a kid on Christmas/Boxing Day morning! 🤣🤣
Beautiful Cars!😍
Great Video. 👍
Greetings from Germany 🇩🇪
Thank you! 👍
I love classic cars!
Nice looking cars.
Not my favorite color, but the DeTomaso Pantera has been my dream car ever since I was a kid. But so much dream material in this one space...Ferraris, Porsches...and I'm with you, Nick, my "favorite" would change every 30 seconds...or every 5 steps! LOL
Haha, I am in Florida, and I just read an article today about the Volkswagen Diesel you showed as it has less than 800 miles on it. Some guy had one and loved it so much he bought a second one for just in case the first one ever broke down. And put the second one into storage and it never got used. Eventually the guy sold it to a collector who in turn stored it some more. And now it's up for auction.
Hope you escaped storm Eta
That explains it! thanks for sharing!
@@Onlinesully It wasn't in me area of the the woods. Though Sally came close.
Motoring heaven! Amazing cars and how immaculate they all look.
Couldn't agree more! Absolutely awesome!
Fab vid. Love your enthusiasm.
Thanks so much! 😊
Seats in that orange/white RS2600 Capri are scheel (they predate the Recaro’s)....
Those twin cam, Mexico escorts looked fantastic!
I always wanted a 1954 Bentley R-Type Continental. Such an advanced body style for that time.
Great video Nick. Really enjoyed that one.
Awesome, glad you enjoyed it
Wonderful tour, Nick. It was like a walk down memory lane. Saw at least 4 car models that I owned “back in the day” not quite as nice, though🙂
Fantastic, glad you enjoyed it 🙂
This was a long time ago but, I really enjoyed your enthusiasm. Had to comment. "Cor ,look at the arse on that" , reminded me of " Professor Simon Peach : Are they big? I like 'em big ".
" Slim sports cars suit you more, Crockett. "
You're only supposed to blow the bloody doors off!
I love how excited you get about these classic cars :)
They are the best, and they simply don't make cars like that any more.
I remember as a small kid, my parents had a Ford Zephyr. Eventually they changed to a Volvo 244 (we used to call it 'the tank, lol). I actually learned to drive with that car. They had it for some 25 years!
Wow, so many beautiful cars and many I would love to own one day!
I recall working on some of these cars in the sixties and seventies what a nightmare.
Nick saying ‘look at the arse on that’ about the Testarossa. 😂
Like a kid in a candy store . Nice video Nick !!
That's exactly what it was like! 😄
That Maserati 350 is a RIVA for the road.... Bellissima ❤️
Love the car reviews
Yes kept skirting round the lovely cream late 60s 911, maybe a T or E, my favourite car ....
There are several I missed that I should have filmed, watching it back!
what an amazing collection of fantastic cars, many many thanks for filming them for us
Glad you enjoyed it
Hi nick, 1. Wasn't the MG referred to as the poor man's Aston Martin not the E type 2. That Aston Martin vanquish red arrows addition you should have looked at the headlining they've done it in a way that it looks like it's the canopy of a red arrows plane flying in formation with the rest of the squadron., Great video as always 👍
Ah, possibly! But I remember the GT6 possibly slightly unfairly being called a poor man's E Type. Cool car now though.
MOTAHOLIC ; right ok regardless, some amazing vehicles
That Golf GTI was a gem!
Agreed.
Never had a GTI. But had two golfs and really enjoyed them.
This is incredible collection
Nick you and Harry are two of my favourite youtubers. This was an excellent companion piece to Harry's!
Glad you enjoyed it
Wow Nick just wow and I have to agree with you about a favourite because it changed every few seconds there were so many dream cars i almost had to pinch myself from cars i could only ever dream of owning to my first car a brown mini then mk2 escort then a vw bug then a capri 2.8 then my baby an rs2000 escort and so on which gives you an idea of why I enjoyed this video so much so thank you my friend for sharing and have a great day
Awesome, glad you enjoyed it 🙂
Love your passion for cars, Nick. Particularly the Ford Capri. I fell in love with them when I saw a bronze Mk1 with a tobacco vinyl roof when I was about 16. I eventually bought a brand new, Mk 3 1.6GL in white with a black vinyl roof on my 24th birthday. I would love to get another one and have it restored, but with some modern touches like PAS and ABS. Like you I found so many new favourites but my top 3 ended up with the Mk3 Brute 33 Capri, followed by the brown mini with the sliding roof, the Mercedes 190 SL and the 2015 Spectre Landrover. Drat, that's 4.
Yes I can just see myself driving down to Poole in my restored Capri to pick up my new Manhattan 55. Wake up Keith, wake up.
Great choices! 🙂
You've got some tough competition with this video!
Epic cars
That’s so sweet
Nice Video! Sierra Cosworth is epic! I had a Sierra in the 19190's.. unfortunately it was an automatic 1.8LX which destroyed it's gearbox when driving through Torquay!
Nice video 👍🏼 you did show a lo of cars that Harry’s Garage didn’t 🤷🏼♂️ I’m with you I also couldn’t pick a favourite car 🚗 but probably a Porsche 😍
Wow !!
A lot of interesting and beautiful cars, great job nick!
Glad you enjoyed!
The most beautiful styled car of all time was the Jaguar XKE roadster.
Hi Nick. To a petrol head this is car porn. Every time you sighed and paused increased the excitement. A step back in time as ive owned many of those. Absolutely awesome video. Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it, it was a joy to see today!
STG Sam would love that 360 CS
OH Hell! That M1. I bet the owner of the M1 has a nice boat.
I KNOW! *sob*
Not sure if Frank Farian owns a boat
Missed the, what looked like, a Lotus Carlton - although it was in white, so I guess Nick confused it for a bathroom!
Good god Nick, I always thought you were knowledgeable about boats, but your car knowledge puts me to shame.
Fantastic video, thank you very much for taking us round.
You're very kind, glad you enjoyed it 🙂
You couldn't pick a favorite. I would go with the Porsche 928
It's up there for sure!
Stylish Nick Sir.. with Stylish Car... Deadly cars Sir..
Eyup. My brother an I go to the NEC classic car show every year. We cant go this year so watched your film together. Nice one
Cool, hope you liked it :)
16:00 I never had a Ford Escort, but, I did have 2 Datsun 120Y's, both in psychedelic colours 🤩
Dante Thomas’ “Miss California” mentions the Maranello…
Have a safe blessed night.
🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Hi. How are you? ' Since Corona, ordinary daily life is more precious than ever. Now that it's winter, I hope there's no more damage.
hi nick ...I too had two capris in the 70s, my fist one was a MK 1 3000 V6 which I have a photo of it, my second one was a MK two 1600 like yours but the mk1 was better.
Nice to see a car video with so many good cars without going into every nut and bolt about them. Though I still enjoyed Harry's Garage video
Glad you enjoyed it
Just subscribed! Awesome content!
Awesome, welcome aboard!
Metro 6R4 for me, closely followed by the Porsche 73, 911 RS lightweight……. And that’s £2,000,000 in 10 seconds!
I’m not really a massive car guy but I love ya work on aqua so here I am subscribed
Awesome, welcome aboard! 🙂
Great video mate but you missed the Jaguars and even walked past a stunning XK140 Roaster.
There were several I missed looking back at the video now that I wish I'd got.
Did someone have to follow you to mop up all the drool? 😂👍
Aquaholic doing Carsssss yayyyyyy!!!!!! Thank you Nick!!!
You're very welcome! 🙂
@@MOTAHOLIC 😁
liked before watching the video
Awesome, thanks!
You are the holic master, perhaps you could do a aeroholic? Helicopters and planes?
If only I had the time!
Even a Princess sponsorship in there so we know Nick's hear is in it :D
Sir David Jason if you’re wondering who owned the convertible Golf 👌🏻 I was curious, had to check
Yes indeed!
Will you come to Italy?
Straaaaa da lee......love the channel btw
I knew I had it wrong! 😄
I’m going to have to keep checking back on these comments to see if the Porsche fan boys and the Ferrari fan boys are going to get all angry because somebody screwed up a model name 😂😂😂 I love the video Nick
It's only a matter of time..! 😄
Hi Nice
when you could name a car by sight... unlike today same same
That's very true!
Porsche, the Miele of cars.
Wow. You guys across the pond have to shift with your left hand. That would be too weird ...and I'm an ex trucker who's shifted a lot of touchy gears.I love the Porsche 928's as well, but there is just so much hi-tech crappola on them that can go wrong you'd be lucky to make it anywhere and back. My mom had a '75 bmw 2002 tii....caught myself doing 80 mph in it...it was the best little car ever, with plenty of room inside. And....it sounds like you folks watch a lot of American T.V. over there...who knew ?
I do believe that golf gti has " A touch of frost"
That roof is Open All Hours too! 😄
Wow what a collection of cars, got to give you some gentle ribbing on your Ferrari knowledge though Nick lol that was a 488 not 458 and it was a 360 Challenge Stradale. Also missed the really rare 911 clubsport, lovely video though mate keep up the good work.
Dammit - close! 😣
Missed the Audi Quattro too... 😖
nick was meet the owner on aquaholic nick, has got that auction house ? had a few of them not in that good of state back then
👍👍👍👍👍👍
What year was the Ford Mustang Eleanor?
No idea I'm afraid
Love Harry's Garage, but Nick's enthusiasm makes up for Harry's incredible knowledge.
His is the grown up version! 😄
The DB4 wasn’t the James Bond car, the DB5 was. Very close though. I think I’m correct in saying that the DB4 was used as a test car by the special effects department.
Also.... you looked at one mustang but skipped that dark green Bullet Mustang! Blasphemy.
Also, nice to see a younger version of my car in there. That Red Evo 7. I have a black Evo 8
Correct about the 007 Aston, but even the DB4 is just so James Bond...
@@MOTAHOLIC oh agreed. First thing you think when you see it is “James bond”. Especially the chase scene in Goldfinger
