The SMD Ultra Single XL Fuse Block is our TOP OF THE LINE series when it comes to ANL Fuse Blocks! Starting with a thick 3/4" HDPE CNC milled baseplate, a giant slab of aluminum on each end with double stainless steel set pins will keep your wire tight and in place for maximum contact with the block. More stainless fasteners will keep the fuse snug in place and resist heat build up that can happen with an inferior connection. These blocks can easily accomodate 1/0, 2/0 and even up to 4/0 power/ground cable. Machined, recessed inlets allow the wire jacket to countersink into the block which makes for a super clean install without any unsightly copper wires showing (up to 2/0). Ultra Series ground/distro and split blocks have several inlets that are made for 4ga and 2/0 cable but you can use smaller or slightly larger wire no problem at all with them! Aluminum/ABS standoffs made in house will keep the 3/16" clear acrylic lid firmly in place with 4 more stainless steel fasteners. A true masterpiece of a fuse block and the perfect addition to your masterpiece of an audio system! thank you! although i'm not sure what waterproofing will do. These are used for DC so getting them wet will really do nothing to them. The aluminum and the stainless won't corrode either :)

I know, but I try to just use the products and let the outcome speak for itself rather than trying to shove my products down peoples throats haha! Plus, lets face it, video's like this don't exactly do big view numbers. So I can tell people don't like when I make them. But I really need to show people new stuff and this is a good way to do it. And putting together my cart with the needed parts, when you select "trim piece" is that the insert below the block and lugs, and the "base" the part that gets bolted down? I see you have many colors to choose from and wanted to make the correct selections for me. Thank you again.

I love it! I don't do a lot of crazy car audio stuff but i do a lot of electrical stuff in cars mostly offroad oriented stuff or building harnesses and adding accessories. One thing that bothers me on a lot of distribution blocks and fuse holders is there is very little insulation between the conductive parts and the vehicle and theres a lot of power running through some of these blocks and theres only a thin piece of foam on the bottom side of some which is completely inadequate. I like to mount my distribution blocks and things on a piece of that uhmw plastic stuff i put threaded inserts in it and mount all my stuff safely insulated from the vehicle. I really like to see high quality properly protected parts.
One thing I'm curious about is what is a better connection for these large cables? Is a ring terminal crimped onto the wire end and bolted to a block better or is something like this with the bare wire or ferrule and set screws a better connection? I feel like car audio guys would know since you guys work with such high amperage stuff.
I use a lot of large cables for dual battery setups and high output alternators and winches etc.. and i use a hydraulic crimper and ring ends bolted to a block or battery terminals.
Sometimes when I'm looking for certain electrical parts i find that the stuff meant for car audio is the highest quality.

no copper yet. Soon though! They are gonna be expensive as hell so I will probably do a limited run. A copper bar the size we are using might as well be 24k gold haha! I can't imagine what the 10 spot will cost. Probably be a $700 block. It would be SICK AF though for sure!

Really nice Steve, but maybe you can also make/sell some inserts to add much smaller wires for the accessoires parts. Max 20amp etc.
if you want something for a 20a fuse you should think about one of our other fuse block options. Such as the Mini ANL block. These will have adapters down to 4ga, but 20a definitely is a waste of an Ultra series block.

the baseplate i this video is the black part. The trim is the white part. :) In your case blue would be the base and pearl white is your trim. :) . That is gonna look so sick, I look forward to building it if you do order one. Thanks!

2ga is probably the smallest these can take without an adapter. But we can also supply longer set pins if someone wanted to use something like 4ga. I plan on having some adapters though soon.
