i moved my water heater to other side of basement to right under bathrooms so i use what used to be hot water line to feed my toilet and water sits in it warming up to room temperature so i get a lot less sweating on toilet and mold because water filling toilet is around room temperature instead of freezing cold

the problem was you didn't say that aint goin nowhere when you put toilet down with new flange that always makes it work better LOL
That new toilet has so many places for dust and urine to collect.
pretty standard for basic toilets you have to get the fancy ones that cost a fortune with skirts around the bottom and such to get a cleaner look with less nooks and crannies

Quick question Brian I always use the same supply line like the one you used I had a guy tell that you need to use the one that has the metal nut on it to attach to the commode he said he has seen the ones with the plastic nut crack and water start spraying out I have never had a problem with the ones with the plastic nut ever cracking over time what is your thoughts on this?

using regular latex caulk around the bottom of toilet it does not get all stained and moldy from misses around toilet?
I tried the cool new caulk that is paintable white better than silicone dap AMP i believe it was and it attracted dirt like a magnet
