SHOW SUMMARY
Unikitty is the ruler of the kingdom, and her days are busy with royal responsibilities. While she is very interested in making sure her people are happy, Unikitty is not one to be crossed. She has made it her life's mission to rid the kingdom of negativity. Unikitty is a kitty and unicorn hybrid who is full of endless enthusiasm and full of creativity. She is known to get angry whenever someone makes her little brother and best friend, Puppycorn, upset. Also living in the castle with Unikitty is Dr. Fox, who is a scientist, Hawkodile, who is a trustworthy bodyguard, and a 1x3 grey Lego brick named Richard. Squidkid The show is a mixed bag for me. It is okay at best, awful at worst. "Action Forest" was a good episode though.

@Tails' Channel in the episode, Unikitty was annoying for most of it, the plot itself wasn't that good, and I left the episode with a sour taste. But thank you for accidentally leaving me confused with a question on a 2 year-old video. It puts stuff into little perspective.
To me, and what i love about unikitty is that it's Teen Titans Go *done RIGHT.*
It can have it's "wacky colorful random" comedy, yet they can make it engaging to watch too. I think I mentioned this before, but i think what really drives it is that it's suppose to have this super happy positive tone to it. Where it TTG flopped because it was more being mean spirited most of the time. It works for Unikitty cause they can be mean spirited, but they can work it into part of the plot too. It also had it's fun in "villians" too. Master Frown in the snowday episode gives me a good laugh.
Overall: I know this show was gonna get a booming start, and I know in the future cartoon network gonna spam the hell out of it. Until then, this show is actually not bad and actually better than what I expected.yeah it's too happy happy sunshine and rainbows, but I think that's where they utilize it to show it's potential. Pretty cool show so far.

It's funny how you brought My Little Pony because no one expected that show to garnered a massive fanbase especially during the time. Now we have Unikitty, a show many thought to be dumb, turned out to be a really good cartoon. I need to check it out soon.

Have to admit, this show is a perfect example of don't judge a show by it's title. Found myself actually enjoying the humor and the sheer energy from the characters. While the style and animation is similar to a lot of other cartoons currently airing on the network, I'm glad I can sit through an episode of this show and think "That was pretty funny." Or "I know where they're going with this, but I want to see how they get there with it.". Overall, a show worth watching just for the fun of it.

I completely agree, I just found out about this show today and I've fallen in love with its style. Made me laugh several times, instant fan here :D
"There's a time for hugs, and there's a time for punches" is actually a solid moral with real-world applicability, too.
I just finished watching an episode of Unikitty because it happened to be airing, and I had very little knowledge of it other than it was a spin-off of The Lego Movie, which surprisingly I love.
I have to admit I laughed out loud often throughout the whole episode of “Prince Puppycorn.” It was totally unexpected how hilarious it was, and its political satire was particularly brilliant. The whole episode felt like a breath of fresh air. It even made fun of its own moral by the end of it. I frickin love that.
My only concern is that this excellent, energetic writing won’t last forever, and I don’t think it will. Even the Golden Age of The Simpsons (which many consider to be seasons 3-9) didn’t last forever since that show became like a tired old dog waiting to die because it can’t learn new tricks.
In conclusion, Godspeed, Unikitty. I wish you a good life even if you just gave me a few good laughs for this one episode I watched. :)

Aii iiA Richard is one of the best "team dad" characters I've seen in awhile. If you start to believe the Unikitty show is a big game of make-believe like in The Lego Movie the Richard character becomes really sweet.

I mean, it's fun. Colorful and random, and that's how the character of Unikitty should be like. It fits the tone of the character and the show and isn't an excuse for comedy like in Powerpuff Girls 2016, Teen Titans GO and Ben 10 2017.
I like it, it's nice and can be considered something new. I REALLY hope this starts a new reign of good cartoons in 2018.

I just find it ironic Tara Strong is voicing a part unicorn character who needs to learn hugs don't solve everything. (love Twilight as a character and enjoy the reformed villains also but I really miss stuff like the Tirek battle in the season 4 finale).
When I first saw this show, I was really not the most fond of it. It was mostly because I was sick of all of the adverstising.

Unikitty has made a great upsurge as a show and a new one at that, (especially because it's based off an existing property and those tend to not be the best). I like this show, it has good timing and unlike the other CN WB animated show, it has a down to earth character to react to the insanity of some of the characters to give a funny insight in the show's universe. Overall, good review of the show and I'm looking forward to more episode from this saturated color square land.

Tara Strong has become overrated since 2010 in my opinion. I feel that she has reached her limits of her vocal range. Every "New" character sounds like an old character of her's now. She was a terrible choice for Unikitty and Harley Quinn.

When an episode of this show was in my recommendations (and wouldn't go away) I took a chance to watch it. To be honest, it's not a bad show! People have under estimated it. I personally find this show awsome.

I don't know exactly why, but I was drawn to this show from the start. I was not disappointed. I think it has a lot of potential, and I am very enthusiastic about watching more.
Most shows I've seen took at least a season to discover their direction, and for a show just starting out, I'm impressed at how this show already feels so... right. I can only imagine what it will be like at it's peak.

I'd LOVED Unikitty it's Funny and Really Cute!
Unikitty is a great show, there is a lot of things to analyze for a show aimed towards younger audiences but it’s also very appealing to my 14 year old self. I think the more interesting thing to this show is that there isn’t really a plot that is continued on in the series. Sure in the second seasons there are like two episodes that go together but that’s pretty much it. I’d recommend unikitty to anyone it’s a fun and not to “cutesy” show, it’s actually funny sometimes and I could relate to some of the things in the show. I’d give this show a 9.5/10 because of its creativity and overall not boring episodes and how they’re layer out.

yeah, we all know about ninjago and chima, not to mention lego reiterations of other popular franchises. But the first episode of Unikitty was okay, by satirical random comedy standards. I dare say it was good and well executed, if a little hyper.

I think I might enjoy this more than Teen Titans Go. This is what that show should’ve been.
I've been interested after Roger Craig Smith, the voice actor for sonic the hedgehog, had mentioned it over Twitter. I'm pretty sure he plays hawkodile and from what I have seen I must say he and the gray block are probably my favorites LOL.
I really haven't watched enough to judge this show, but from what I've seen it looks good, the jokes are funny, and I will absolutely wholeheartedly support any show on Cartoon Network that isn't Teen Titans Go.

I love unikitty! It's a fun show to watch when youre just channel surfing and you dont really have to follow any plot or anything. The only thing i can say is that cartoon network put out like...a lot of shows out of nowhere? It aired a lot after those 9 episodes and now doesnt air much at all? Maybe they've done this before with other new shows but it seemed weird. I hope we see more unikitty in the future! 🐱

The show exceeded my expectations, when I saw the writers of TTG were involved, I lost all hope. However, after watching a few episodes, and your review, my hopes have been rekindled for this show.

I actually love the fast-paced humor. I remember watching this show a few years ago and then getting back into it when I saw it on hulu.. I watch the show because I know I'm going to have a good time with it and have some good laughs with it. It definitely surprised me. I will take this over TTG any day and it should be airing more than TTG. I think it's funnier and better.
I was the right age to get into early Adventure Time, and I never got tired of it because it grew up with me. Me and Finn were the same age for the longest time. For some reason he's stagnated at 16 and 17 lately
Unikitty was the first show in the new cartoon network renaissance, so when Adventure Time ends it will pass the torch onto her then we'll get Craig Of the creek, Victor and Valentino, and Infinity Train
I love unikitty. Doesn't really make me laugh, but I still love watching it.
Agreed, Unikitty is such a great show; so far. Another great episode involves her giving up her "angry side" because she thinks it's causing more problems than solutions.
I can count on my fingers how often I wished to remove my anger permanently. But as the episode showed; even though it's out of her body, Unikitty's anger STILL existed. So, every time her nice side kept trying to bottle stuff up.
Her angry side just got stronger, becoming like a kaiju.
In the end, Unikitty says that it's not only okay to be angry at times. But that she and her angry self need each other.
I just wish that there were things in this world that didn't create so much anger. Like politicians, racism...or Teen Titans Go still growing in popularity and stuff like Steven Universe or OK KO being pushed aside

I still love unikitty! tbh. since the show came out I have been engaged in it. I like the characters, humor, animation and overall tone. Also, I have a couple of ships from the fandom, but I don't think that adds on to it. some of the episodes are kind of like TTG, which makes them unenjoyable, but the majority of them are great in my opinion :)

I'm 16 now and I really enjoyed the show. The fact that this show is like somewhat like the other LEGO Show "Mixels". From the bright colors of this show to the type of comedy is given to the audience. Sometimes I cringed at a certain scene.
This show also made me want to make a Minecraft mod featuring this show which I'm doing it right now. (Proof is on my channel. I'm not advertising about my channel but it's really nice to check if you guys are interested) And ppl loved my work :) really thank anyone who makes the show possible for what it's done :)

Shes the only one who could do Unikitty since her movie VA would cost to much for a kids show.
But (no offence to her) her voice is just getting boring to me. Teen Titans, Ben 10, MLP, other shows I can't remember. Point is it's like they are running out of actors or no one wants to work for CN anymore. They need fresh talent!

A very fair review of Unikitty, I must say. As someone who is such a fan of Teen Titans Go, would you be willing to agree with me in any capacity that this show feels like what TTG could have been without the Titans' personalities to stick to, or possibly even with them?
