@Abdelhalim BoDe @Abdelhalim BoDe I just watched And I'm going to give you my honest opinion, understand that this is constructive criticism, and in no way am I poking fun at you. 1st impression, the narration needs work. I'm sorry to say but we aren't all great writers, so take a look at stories read by Mr. Nightmare, or chilling scares. All their stories read similar because they edit for grammar. Way too many sentences start with the proper name of the subject, when you're only speaking of one person you don't have to use their name every single time. 3rd, these aren't bad stories. They aren't bad stories at all, they just need some work. Don't beat yourself up, Because if this is something you really wanna do then you can definitely work at it. It's A big deal to put yourself out there on UA-cam like this in general, so that is already huge.

When my cousin and I we're younger, something really strange happened while watching TV. Til this day I have no explanation for it and I've tried my absolute hardest to find an explanation for it. I've chalked up to possibly being an auditory hallucination but still, nothing I was searching up was even close to what we experienced. One time while watching TV, the screen suddenly turned to static out of nowhere and what I could describe as disembodied voices came from the TV. I thought I was going crazy until I looked over to my cousin and saw a face of pure terror. I can't even describe the voices but it sounded almost like military chatter? It was definitely men speaking but very low and then the TV went back to normal. I just remember having a headache after it had happened but til this day, that's one of the strangest/unexplained things to have happened to me.
I had this same thing happened to a TV me and my friend seen in high school and most terrifying part was the volume was completely down and the volume cord for my xbox 360 was unplugged
I was a teen in Chicago in the mid eighties...I didn't see the Max Headroom takeover of the sports news, but I did see the one on WTTW. Me and some friends were watching Dr. Who with Tom Baker and Louise Jameson, stoned and having fun, then boom! Hijacked! We all just stopped, stared at the TV and laughed after WTTW regained control. It was very surreal!
It’s Mr Nightmare’s little brother! Just as good content as he uploads! You two are the best at narrating horror stories on UA-cam. Keep it up guys! 👍😀
Both have the presentation format down pat. No odd accent or speech patterns to appear scary, just direct, smooth narration. No filler. They pick interesting topics and edit their videos well.
There was a TV Hijacking in 1981 of the Swiss national television. "Freedom and sunshine for Giorgio Bellini". I wasn't born then, but my parents remembered quite well!
Considering it took at least a few people to pull it off, it is really surprising that to this day it still remains unknown who any of them where. The fact that the incidents are still talked about with a sense of mystery is perhaps is credit enough for them? Who knows, it still may be solved but only by someone coming forward with something more.

I have heard this one before and i thought it was determined that the station had done some news story on that many months before but for what ever reason that audio from it played again. This could be a hijacking or if they did run the program and there were errors in the computers or there could have been a stray broadcast signal glitch like when they did the original broadcast part of the signal didnt make it to the dish originally but eventually bounced back into the dish and sent back through but who knows.
I remember the max headroom incident. I was a huge Doctor Who fan ever since I was a kid and as I was watching "The Horror of Fang Rock" when Max pops up. I didn't know it was a hijacking of the TV broadcast and thought it may have been some sort of commercial. Years later I found out what really happened. Was very creepy even at 16 years old!!
I absolutely love 'The Horror at Fang Rock'! - have you ever seen 'Twenty Minutes Into The Future' - the original TV movie that created 'Max Headroom' - if not then check it out, it's awesome and I guarantee you'll love it.
*I was videotaping "The Horror of Fang Rock" when that crap started! I was so mad at Channel 11 for cutting to that garbage!* I stopped the tape and recorded over it because I also hated Max Headroom, so the whole thing was like a bad dream, like falling into hell. And when I told my brother, sister and mother about it the following morning they didn't believe me... Until the (then) major networks, ABC, CBS and NBC all did stories on their "Evening News" shows about the "pirate broadcast" that interrupted TV the previous night. I guess I might've had something special had I not impulsively stopped recording and recorded over it (I didn't want that nasty bit with that guy's butt on my tape) but I didn't know what it was so I didn't think long-term.
@@themirrorsofmymind Back then all the classic Doctor Who hadn't been released on video so if you missed the broadcast you most likely wouldn't have seen it again anytime soon. Horror of Fang Rock wouldn't be released for quite some time!
The picture seen in the WJLA incident is not the actual picture. That’s two of the heads from the Wyoming Incident creepypasta. The actual picture is of a man and a woman, and last I checked, was on Wikipedia’s article about Broadcast Signal Intrusion.
Very cool. I’ve seen the Max one before but if you watch the original Max he seems so lifelike in his eyes. So creepy. The David Horowitz one was scary af. Great episode.
Max Headroom's face is a digitization of a real actor - Matt Frewer - who played Edison Carter, the reporter in the movie 'Twenty Minutes Into The Future' who died when he was hit by a 'Max Headroom' signpost whilst trying to escape a parking lot on his motorcycle.
@@XXSkunkWorksXXMax wasn’t exactly a digitalization. It’s Frewer wearing a ton of prosthetics and a plastic molded suit with some contact lenses to create the uncanny cgi effect. he was also sat in front of a blue screen to create the colorful background.
The Max Headroom incident is always listed in these "Scary" or "creepy" TV takeovers but I always found it hilarious. It's just too goofy for me to take seriously
"and Gary, where are you from" *takes off glasses quickly* that sent chills down my spine for some reason 😶 especially when it cuts to a different screen
8:13 honestly I like conspiracy theories like this but it’s going to far when you’re threatening someone with a weapon that must be a terrifying situation to be in
Yea they wrote him off as mentally ill, or does he just know too much? I always like to think their is some truth to accusations like that. Who really knows?
It’s a shame he got labeled off as a conspiracy theorist when now we do have all of the evidence to back this up, evidence going back to ancient tablets even (Gary has once mentioned annunaki). + we now do know about the CIA and their ties to the industry, so this didn’t come as a surprise to me. The man just wanted to be heard, he wasn’t even going to actually hurt anyone.
0:23 Oh, so that’s where that Rap God scene is from. I’m the music video, Marshall (Eminem) is dressed up and in that same place or is using that same laser background.
All of these are creepy as hell! Especially since there’s no answers for why or who did them!! I don’t know how the anchorman sat there reading that piece of paper so calmly and how he even asked him what some of the words were!! Wow!! Did his dad even get in trouble for having him there?? I bet they weren’t allowed to bring people with them in again after that!!
The second hijack of the masked guy was legit standing there like he didn’t know what to do next, “I was expecting someone to already have kicked me off lol”
Nothing, there’s no hidden story about this it’s all covered up. People call this incident the old couple. This is a kid pretending to know more than he does to get attention and seem cool
Chuck Swirsky is still around to this day. I can't recall if still works for WGN to some degree but he is the play by play radio announcer for the Chicago Bulls. I've listened to him my whole life, but everytime I hear his name I can't help but think of the max headroom incident 😂
Great topic! I don't think any other narrator had covered this. If they have, I just haven't seen it, but I'm subbed to at least a dozen or so channels of this genre and this is the first time I've seen this topic. 🙂🙂🙂
@@Imperialsummoner Ahhh... I wouldn't be surprised to learn they've all been covered at some point, but not necessarily in this context. Perhaps they've been in a documentary or mentioned some other way, but I just have not personally seen them in any format. Until now of course. 🙂
I’m pretty sure the max headroom thing was all just a harmless prank done by a group of friends. If nothing happened after the tv hijacking, then it’s nothing to worry about. Yeah it’s definitely creepy how the audio sounds but it’s nothing serious
Wow, I had no idea about any of these incidents, thanks! Now, the guy in the Headroom mask is having way too much fun and the presenter in the second story is a total pro.
8:45 The newscaster was kind and was willing to tell the police and others not to hurt Gary (This video did not really show that part) When an emergency happens this is the type of person you want to receive direction from, David Horowitz is a class act. I am sure if the gun had been real and the person tasked to read the letter had been a hothead the ending would have been very different.
It took me to now to realize this is the same broadcaster that hosted the consumer advocate show "Fight Back with David Horowitz". I thought he looked familiar, he certainly played it cool with this incident and even remained totally calm.
I freaking love this channel! Nowadays, that Gary Stollman note doesn’t sound QUITE so insane, does it? David Horowitz was most impressive with his cool, calm, professionalism.

Considering all the technology now, Gary Stollman might not have been considered crazy if he had waited a couple decades to make those accusations. Also, considering how untrustworthy the MSM is, who knows what really happened. What would be great is if those hackers, who did these things, watched this episode on Chilling Scares and came out and told us why. Surely there's a statute of limitations on something so mundane, so they shouldn't have to worry about being charged.

Perfect timing for this video, especially when that fake nuclear bomb emergency broadcast was broadcast in Russia recently. I don’t think it was creepy. I think it was very brave, actually. But he was probulary shaking on the inside. Because he had no proof whether the man would’ve shot him even if he did read the paper.
The 2nd one the news guy stayed very calm and I give him props for how he handled the situation given he didn't know it wasn't a real gun.. all of these are creepy glad I didn't see them 😮
When my cousin and I we're younger, something really strange happened while watching TV.
That kind of sounds paranormal 👻
They been monitoring our tv screens since day one.
I had this same thing happened to a TV me and my friend seen in high school and most terrifying part was the volume was completely down and the volume cord for my xbox 360 was unplugged
The closest explanation I could think of is an interference between the TV channel and some military equipment that was somehow on the same frequency
@@Jean20Bonly plausible explanation
I was a teen in Chicago in the mid eighties...I didn't see the Max Headroom takeover of the sports news, but I did see the one on WTTW. Me and some friends were watching Dr. Who with Tom Baker and Louise Jameson, stoned and having fun, then boom! Hijacked! We all just stopped, stared at the TV and laughed after WTTW regained control. It was very surreal!
LMAO OMG
The max headroom guy is the G.O.A.T he managed to make the first major shit post mad respect
It’s Mr Nightmare’s little brother! Just as good content as he uploads! You two are the best at narrating horror stories on UA-cam. Keep it up guys! 👍😀
IMHO, I'd say Mr. Nightmare is the younger brother of Chilling Scares. His material is so much more visceral, descriptive, and well-researched.
Both have the presentation format down pat. No odd accent or speech patterns to appear scary, just direct, smooth narration. No filler.
They pick interesting topics and edit their videos well.
They can both DP me anytime they want to
I think he must be related.
You all know it's a voice app thingy.
Something about the max headroom hijacking’s just…disturb me so much. I don’t quite know what it is about it, but it is just terrifying.
You are really scared lol
It was funny I’m pretty sure he was just trolling.
Even if he was just trolling it’s still unnerving yk?
@@Legal_Sweetie333your name scares me
3:40. He was literally saying things about the newspapers. He obviously wanted to get on the papers for his tv hijacks
The most disturbing thing is his vids feel like they're 30 seconds long. I absolutely love your channel man. Thanks for another great one. 🤙
Time flies by fast can you figure it out why.
There was a TV Hijacking in 1981 of the Swiss national television. "Freedom and sunshine for Giorgio Bellini". I wasn't born then, but my parents remembered quite well!
The fact that nobody has ever taken credit for, or admitted to, the Max Headrom hack is incredible. You'd think eventually it would come out.
Considering it took at least a few people to pull it off, it is really surprising that to this day it still remains unknown who any of them where. The fact that the incidents are still talked about with a sense of mystery is perhaps is credit enough for them? Who knows, it still may be solved but only by someone coming forward with something more.
@@shannonspage9360there was a detailed reddit post from 14 yrs ago. but the dude deleted it 4 yrs ago and is super vague about everything. not sure why? it was so long ago. and it's like he was scared of something ?
11:21 No one even mentions that after each loop of the man saying "Jesus Christ, help us all, Lord, " another man says "Fuck." But it isn't on the original.
I thought it was someone else saying “Cut”
It kinda sounds like that "fuck" sound appears a little earlier in the military recording.
I adore Hammer Horror too, especially the TV show 'Hammer House of Horror' - 'Charlie Boy' being my fave episode!

@@XXSkunkWorksXX I will need to watch that. Thank you for the heads up.
@@XXSkunkWorksXXMax wasn’t exactly a digitalization. It’s Frewer wearing a ton of prosthetics and a plastic molded suit with some contact lenses to create the uncanny cgi effect. he was also sat in front of a blue screen to create the colorful background.
When the video censored the gun I thought the hijacker pulled out something else even though it was discolored. 😂 😂 😂
That would be even worse than a gun😭😭
Imagine being held hostage by a shlong 😭😭
It’s so annoying how they lie and make up bs like just own up to the fact you got hacked 🙄

8:13 honestly I like conspiracy theories like this but it’s going to far when you’re threatening someone with a weapon that must be a terrifying situation to be in
Gary Stollman could be right...we live in a world with all sorts of creepy possibilities
Yea they wrote him off as mentally ill, or does he just know too much? I always like to think their is some truth to accusations like that. Who really knows?
According to William Cooper he’s very much onto something.
In today’s upside down world, Stollmans claims may have very well been right… 😮

Chuck Swirsky is still around to this day. I can't recall if still works for WGN to some degree but he is the play by play radio announcer for the Chicago Bulls. I've listened to him my whole life, but everytime I hear his name I can't help but think of the max headroom incident 😂
Great topic! I don't think any other narrator had covered this. If they have, I just haven't seen it, but I'm subbed to at least a dozen or so channels of this genre and this is the first time I've seen this topic. 🙂🙂🙂
The first 2 have been done before however my first time hearing about the last 2
@@Imperialsummoner Ahhh...
But it would def disturb you at the time. Plus it was the 80s people weren’t watching random shit all the time. TV was much more predictable.
The Image with the heads and that information got lost is pretty creepy.
Wyoming incident perhaps?

so refreshing to see this guy uploading. Going to watch this while I have dinner.
Wow, I had no idea about any of these incidents, thanks! Now, the guy in the Headroom mask is having way too much fun and the presenter in the second story is a total pro.
Statue of limitations also ran out on the Max Headroom incident, so whoever did it can no longer be prosecuted.
Actually it does sound insane lol. Whats wrong with you.
@@greengrenadesYou must live under a rock. Or you're just very naive and gullible to believe everything the "authorities" tell you. They call TV the "idiot box" for a reason. And your phone is just a smaller version of it.
@green grenades are you slow? 😂
The part about the United States government being overthrown by the CIA sounds about right if you isolate it from the rest of the manifesto.
@@greengrenadesIn what ways? He basically just detailed his own background, how his brother in law was put into a mental hospital, how HE had been in a mental hospital, and most likely the idea about the note is that nothing is changed in regards to mental hospitals. Which is still very true today.
