But being part of the same profession known for being targets of hijackings, and one guy being in a particularly dangerous area, it isn't too surprising to see them band together for mutual defence.

@@Holland4evahh There's no such thing as "could of"; 'of' is a preposition, not a verb. In rapid everyday speech it may sound similar to the contracted form of "have", but they're two completely different things. It's a bit like the Dutch dipthong /ei/, which can be written either "ei" or "ij". Confuse the two in writing, and you'll just look silly. I mean, who's heard of, say, "maatschappei" or "waarhijd"?
The guy in the van who turned around to save the other man in the Semi truck in an active hurricane is a hero. Also, the group of truckers that came to rescue of the lone trucker against the Russian gangsters and flipped their car was possibly the greatest video I've ever seen lol
Not anymore. The industry is not like it once was. A steering wheel holder is more likely to blow past a truck on the side of the road and laugh, than to pull over to offer any help. I've watched drivers hit another truck then either try and leave or just move and park in another slot. You go to a truck stop, and it is other drivers you worry about breaking into your truck.
@@Alexandra_Hill Yes. I was lucky enough to start driving, when the roads were filled with professional drivers. Today, the large trucking companies, prefer inexperienced steering wheel holders, that will drive for cheap wages. That and over regulation by the federal government(most of which is implemented on behalf of the major trucking firms), has made it harder and harder for independent and smaller companies to compete. As they leave the industry, more and more steering wheel holder and seat warmers are hired to replace them. Eventually the Russian Oligarchs will discover this method and begin to employ it, to increase their control and profits from the transportation industry.
@@lennychorn147 It's a sad outcome really, truckers are your community but no loyalty and being too hungry for cash have kinda destroyed the community.
As a woman, we learned long ago that you never slow, you never stop. Even a woman in distress can be a ploy to get you to stop. Your power is in the forward movement of the vehicle, even if you have to hit the offender. I won’t even stop for an unmarked police car until I’ve called in to 911 to determine if they’re legit.
I told my girlfriend that too. If some road rager comes up to the window or stops in front of you, the very last thing you do is slow down and stop. I’d rather drive over his ass and deal with the legal implications later than get shot or beaten to a pulp. (See LA Riots for a good example of what can happen when you play nice.)
I agree, that's why I try to keep my car maintained, never drive at night alone unless it's urgent, and keep a can of Fix a flat just in case so I can make it to a garage, There was a young woman in my area that went missing after her car broke down on the interstate, they found her body a few weeks later not far from there, so sad, unfortunately the police won't stop to help if they think you have car trouble and you can wait a couple hours or more to get a tow, it leaves you open to predators.

The one with all the Russian truckers was a pretty cool thing to see. It's always awesome to see people come together in service of the needs and protection of others.
Those are illegal migrants trying to jump onto one of those trucks which is on its way from France to the UK. They essentially want to get to the UK by hiding in the trucks. I've seen them also while on a gas station at Calais. They were running up to my car in the dark early morning hours. Pretty scary stuff to be honest. I sped away before they could get to me.
They’re desperate migrants, not ‘freaks’. Doesn’t make them better or any less dangerous but can we avoid dehumanizing people who do wrong. We are not too different from whom we consider to be ‘bad’ people.
My friend used to talk about the "Lot Lizards" in truck stops. He pulled into one in South Carolina, fueled up, parked and went in to have a shower and get some food before he logged off for the night. Around 2 in the morning he heard someone knocking on his door and there was a skanky looking woman wanting to know if she could spend some time with him. He told her to go away. My friend was a smart driver for over 25 years. He would take a rope and tie it between the driver and passenger doors so no one could open them. About 3 in the morning, someone smashed the passenger window, unlocked the door and was trying to open it, when the person, (turned out to be the same skanky woman), climbed up and tried to crawl in the window, my friend let her have it with bear spray. There were three other guys who tried running away, but got beaten down by other drivers, and left for the police. A few months later he was back at the same T/A stop, more lighting and security was added and no more lot lizards.
Lot lizards. Lol There’s a trick to use with your seatbelt - loop through interior door handle and click in the seatbelt. Similar to what your friend did. But seatbelts are definitely a great alternative to keeping not only trucks but all vehicles doors closed.
When I drove a rig, I usually saw plenty of those lot lizards hanging around truck stops, day or night! I was always cordial with them, and they pretty much left me alone. So what was my secret? I told them every time that I had an incurable disease that was easily transmitted just by my breathing!
The trucker in distress (car flipping incident) was like an elephant calling. The herd of elephants showed up to help a loved one in trouble. Pretty amazing, and the best part they stopped the threat for the time being. Great team work, beautiful to see.
Mad respect to that one guy that got out of his car in the hurricane to save the trucker in the flip over truck. And also to those group of truckers that came together to run off those losers. Can't get anymore badass then calling on your 20+ coworkers that all drive massive trucks. 🤟

I’m glad this video is out here. My husband is a trucker. This stuff is happening more and more here in the US. Please be careful to all truckers, families , friends etc. Get this word out everywhere. It’s getting worse and it will take your lives
@BILLIE MEYER Mrs. Meyer, thank you for the info. I think most, if not all of these clips are from overseas, I had no idea it was bad out there here in the US. What's wrong with people? When times get tough, you'd think people would have more empathy and be kinder to one another, this is malicious behavior at it's worse! After I left the Marine Corps in 1992, I drove cross country for an owner-operator that had started a small company with about 8 trucks based in Los Angeles. I ran solo and hauled produce from CA to Mississauga, Ontario, Canada three times a month. I loved the idea of "fudging" my log book and beating the system, driving in adverse weather and slipping behind cattle haulers at midnight on I-44 going 85+ mph. I did that for 5 years. After reading what I just wrote, I think to myself, wow, I spent 9 years in the Corps during which time I married a great girl from Michigan, I travelled to the Far East, was deployed to the Middle East, came home and still hadn't quite grown up yet! ;) I have't changed much either. ;) Society has changed since those days, no doubt about it. It's not hard to see and unfortunately it's not for the better either. After reading through the comments I had no idea that incidents like in this video were common place. How sad. I know being the wife at home, waiting and worrying is hard, my wife was the reason I stopped driving cross country. She was also the reason I left the service, too. Desert Storm rattled her nerves more than mine. In her defense though, she was only 20yo, a newly wed and 2500 miles from her family. Ok, I'm rambling now, sorry. I hope your husband comes home to you often. May you both remain safe while apart so that you can enjoy a wonderful life while together. Best of luck to the both of you and Happy Valentines Day! Stay safe.
I love how the trucker called other truckers for help and they rushed to help him. Seeing them all surrounding the bandits and their car, THEN flipping it was amazing!! Love how the truckers banned together to help one of their own!! YES!
I'm not a violent person, but if I was confronted by those scum trying to stop me and do who knows what to me, I'd literally plough through them without a second thought! They all know exactly what they're doing and should have to accept the consequences!!!!!
Me neither. I hate violence but I would be so scared and god knows what they could do to me. If there is any chance I will not come home to my children, I would not hesitate to plough through them either.
I don't know why they're so desperate to get over the channel here to England. It's not as if France isn't a perfectly good place to stay in comparison. The difference in living standard doesn't warrant that much effort. I could understand them using those tactics to get out of a war-torn country but France is far from that.
Seeing them tip the car over was one of the most satisfying things I have ever seen. Man I feel good after seeing this. Thank you VERY MUCH for showing this!
My first girlfriends father was a truckie who would drive across the Nullarbor plains in australia, 3 times in his career he told me he had indigenous men lying in the middle of the road pretending to be dead or injured, hours from anywhere and each time he’d hit the pedal to insinuate speeding up and each time these fellas jumped up and ran off.
It's really incredible what crazy things happen out there! I'm so glad all the truckers were safe and that they stuck together they way they did. The Calais footage is frightening. I didn't realize so many people were trying to get into the UK by such brutal means. Brave man who helped the trucker during hurricane Ida. Thank God they were both ok!
Regarding the situation in Calais I've been seeing vids on that situation since 2015. That's when the great "migrant influx" began happening in Europe. Absolutely scarey stuff and it has only increased since then. Its amazing how little we know in the US of what is happening elsewhere in the world, our mainstream media was and is currently virtually silent on the migrant problems they've been facing.
This series of "Disturbing Things Caught on [X] Footage" is by far one of my favorite videos to watch on UA-cam! I loved the part where 20 truck drivers just ganged up on the bandit! Terrible thing to happen for sure, but it was also quite hilarious
In the 60s, my dad was a trucker. He was driving through Colorado I believe. A car past him and he sees a kid pushed out in front of him, which he was able to avoid hitting the kid. Only thing he could figure was someone wanted a monetary payout at the expense of a kid.
The russain truckers who flipped the car over were amazing haha. Coming from someone who has quite a few members of the family that are truckers, I can tell you any of them would help another trucker in a heart beat. Truckers are honestly very cool people and always look out for each other
And real life! It’s one thing to watch a movie and see scary or disturbing content, knowing it’s make-believe. Real life events just seem scarier and more unbelievable!
The fighting looks sooo much better here than Dying Light 2's style. They should really have worked on their dismemberment and the way different weapons affect zombies more in that game. The fighting felt generic and flat to me. This game is the true sequel to Dead Island that we've been waiting for, doesn't matter which studio's hands it's in now. They did a proper job from the looks of it!
Gratitude to all truckers. Most places on this planet would grind to a halt without truckers. Thank you! I absolutely love how all the Russian truckers stood next to their own.
If a group of people tried to intimidating me in to stopping like that I'd just run one or two over. It would only take a couple for them to get the message lol

All truckers are brothers on the road. My friend was a trucker. There is a very high mountain pass just before town. A truck had burned his brakes and was in real trouble. My friend sped up and got in front of him and slowed him down. Sounded crazy to me, but the driver showed up at the cafe and related it all to me. He was a good guy.
People judge me for carrying a hand gun saying things like, "That's unnecessary and dangerous," but let me tell you, I will not let anyone like this hurt me or my family and that's all there is too it.
Criminals like saying things like that because they like easy targets. My sheriff (Grady Judd Polk Co, FL.) has publicly stated many times to "buy a gun, learn to use it, and if you need to shoot someone, shoot them a lot".
I had a CB radio before cell phones when I used to drive back and forth from Colorado to Texas for a friend… the truckers welcomed me and made me feel safe traveling while I noticed lots of thugs eyeballing us at gas stations. If you travel on the road a lot, get a CB to add to the dash cam and cell phone, etc tool kit. Cannot be too careful!!!!

I LOVE IT when the truckers band together to help one of their own. Driving truck can be a very dangerous job for multiple reasons. Unfortunately, many don't make very good money doing it either.
I don't understand the mindset of trying to screw around with truckers. That's like slapping the biggest guy that's three grades ahead of you when you're the runt of your class. You're just begging to get the crap beaten out of you, only in this case, getting run over and flattened.
I hear you! I wonder about the intelligence of such people every time I see one of them cut off a semi-truck on the interstate. Stupid people win stupid prizes. Unfortunately, if there's an incident as a result of their sheer stupidity, the truckers get hurt, too! If only things would always work out that only the idiots got hurt and innocent bystanders (including other drivers) didn't.
Also, why mess with truckers? Besides farmers, they are some of the most important and least appreciated members of our society. Without truckers, we would be in trouble.
Story 2, This doesn't only happen to truckers in Calais. This happens in ports all over the world, including Dover and Dunkerque. Also this happens to not only trucks, but to cars too. I heard a story that once they damaged the car so badly it was totaled.

I live in the Willow Grove / Horsham area and that day was the most scared I've ever been in my 50 years in this area. I left my house twice for fear of a tornado hitting it. The problem was every road was flooded so there was nowhere to go, I sat in a parking lot hoping I would live. We can still see the aftermath from it today
Coming from tornado alley, you really should stay put in your home if there's imminent danger of a tornado nearby, you're much safer there than trying to outrun a tornado. You won't find people accustomed to tornadoes trying to get out of a structurally sound place if caught unaware, you'll find them trying to get IN.
I’m glad that tornado/hurricane hit Louisiana. Stupid cop stopped me and gave me a ticket for going 5 over the posted speed limit. I’m from Texas and was heading to North Carolina to visit my aunt.
@@Name-if1ix Please look at what you wrote. You're GLAD for the damage and lives hit by a hurricane, just because you got a ticket for breaking the law there? Are you human, even? Wanting such revenge on innocent people because you were fined for breaking the law? No wonder you are ashamed of using your real name! Unthinkable malice!
I can't believe you included Ida on here, and in Horsham of all places. I'm from the area and went through this storm. This is the craziest thing that's ever happened to me. I was working at a nearby Trek store at the time. I rode my bicycle in to work, about a 15mi mostly flat commute along the river. I knew we were supposed to get stormy weather that day, but I was downplaying it, and thought I could just leave before it got bad. Well, it got bad, and it got bad immediately. There was spotty clouds and rain throughout the day, then it started pouring. Minutes later, the local creeks around us overflowed into the parking lot, and started seeping into the store. I SWEAR TO GOD one customer still came in and asked if we were open. We left minutes after that, me on my bicycle. It was a Trek FX 4, and I felt confident that once I got out of the valley I could just ride home like through any other rain I've done in the past. Well, I was very wrong. All of the local streets were flooding and gushing with water from the creek. Many cars tried passing through flooded areas only for their engines to smoke and their cars to get totaled and stuck. I had to find a way out, fast. I ended up walking through a foot of rushing water, which was scary enough. Got to the paved river trail and immediately got a flat tire. Took like 20 minutes to fix. I was trying to get home as fast and as safely as I could. About halfway through, the trail dips down about 25 feet into a little roundabout. It was 3-4 feet under stagnant water, just outside the sewer treatment plant. It was my only way home. I refused to be on the busy roads with all the chaos. So I waded through God knows whatever was in that. At this point it was getting dark, and there's just tons of stagnant water several inches deep, with tons of debris underneath. I was so nervous about getting another flat tire and being one step closer to walking the rest of the way. My lights also started dying then. Turns out even my waterproof lights can only handle so much water. I had a backup pair and had to keep an eye on battery. I made it to my suburb and had to climb a huge hill. I tried one of the forks in the road, but there were several trees down. Made me realize that I was lucky that the only trees down on the trail I was able to walk over. After over 2 hours, I finally made it home. Soaked to the bone. Bike totally gnarlied. And it was only afterwards that I learned of the Horsham tornado only a few miles away from me when I had been riding. Several other tornadoes surrounded the area as well shortly after I had left work. I was really counting my blessings that I made it home alive. The river crested sometime overnight I think. I've actually been trying to find the data on exactly WHEN it crested, because it could have easily overflowed its banks while I was on the river trail, and I would have for sure been dead. Sorry for the long ramble. Just wanted to share. Always wear a helmet and don't be a complete dumbass.
Your story is scary. I would never ride my bike home, I am afraid of heavy storms and thunder especially when it's dark. I would call someone or waited out. Glad you're okay. Gives me goosebumps

My man's a trucker and has worked all over Europe for many years. I travelled with him for a few months back n forward. It was mostly France that I went to with him. He made me aware of the awful things that was going on with immigrants trying to get in the trucks hiding anywhere they could to get into Britain. Putting drivers at risk sometimes getting put into situations that they really shouldn't be put into. He has witnessed alot of scarey stuff, not only in and around the ports but outwith on the roads he travelled. We always took precautions and kept ourselves safe going between each jobs and into the many towns and villages, the different places of work he needed to take goods to and load back up with goods to take back to Britain. I was astounded at the amount of immigrants that hung around the local towns, the ports and I seen how much of an impact it had on the British and French people. Its spilled onto the British ports and on the country as a whole. We decided after I had travelled with him and seen what danger he was in and we decided for him to concentrate on working within Scotland and gave up the tramping to France and various other countries. He is now working with a haulage company in our local town five days a week and off on weekends. Trucking is a very invasive job and its taken its toll on him thro sleep deprivation, limited social life but its a job. It has seen alot of changes over the years and in this current climate, doesn't pay as well as it should...
I was in that Hurricane Ida weather, just a couple of miles from where that truck went over in the tornado. I was on the highway and it flooded very quickly. It was so scary. I'm glad this trucker was ok.
Wow those truckers showing up to save one of their own gave me some hope that theirs still good people out willing to help their fellow human!! Well done 👏
I will never forget being with my Dad in his 1976 Peterbuilt in the middle of a rainstorm in Oklahoma. It was night time, which made it worse.. We pulled over and listened to the NOAA WEATHER Channel and it gave out Tornado warnings in a bunch of counties. I looked outside to see the mile marker and I realized we where pulled over at the county line, the ones noted. I was never so afraid in my life.We have some incredible Nor Easters, and Hurricanes in New England, but nothing like that.. After 20 minutes, the rain stopped clouds broke and we continued on.
It’s far too easy to think there is safety in having such a big vehicle, but it only takes a few lunatics with rocks or worse to make things really precarious. We owe a huge amount to these drivers, respect.

My mom was a trucker, she's told me stories of very similar incidents. Truckers stick together 👏
cab drivers do the same thing
Not anymore. The industry is not like it once was. A steering wheel holder is more likely to blow past a truck on the side of the road and laugh, than to pull over to offer any help.
I've watched drivers hit another truck then either try and leave or just move and park in another slot.
You go to a truck stop, and it is other drivers you worry about breaking into your truck.
@@lennychorn147 not in Europe or Russia clearly, you're in the US, yes?

Men should do the same, they're not invincible and can just as easily become victims if not careful, especially with all the tricks people pull
Shouldn't even stop for a marked one, in case they're Dewitte.
Absolutely Right!

Those are illegal migrants trying to jump onto one of those trucks which is on its way from France to the UK. They essentially want to get to the UK by hiding in the trucks.
I love the term lot lizard 😂
Lot lizards. Lol
There’s a trick to use with your seatbelt - loop through interior door handle and click in the seatbelt.

Any issues with carrying if you are an interstate trucker?
@@mfawls9624 It's like any other private citizen and their right to carry: it varies state to state. There are reciprocity laws, where if you have X state's license, you can carry in Z state. After reading what I just wrote, I think to myself, wow, I spent 9 years in the Corps during which time I married a great girl from Michigan, I travelled to the Far East, was deployed to the Middle East, came home and still hadn't quite grown up yet! ;) I have't changed much either. ;)
Society has changed since those days, no doubt about it.

I drove 39 years. I’d never stop for anybody!
I don't blame you
Love this content. Great video.
It's so weird how much Chilling Scares sounds like Mr. Nightmare. Both channels are stellar.
I thought the same thing. Think it’s the same guy.
Agreed
I was in that Hurricane Ida weather, just a couple of miles from where that truck went over in the tornado. I was on the highway and it flooded very quickly. It was so scary. I'm glad this trucker was ok.
Did you die?
@@truthoverlies6434 ummmm no, not this time. I'm still alive.
@@bridgiebee82 That's a shame. Well good luck next time.
@TruthOverLies will that's just rude. 🙄
@@truthoverlies6434Poor bait attempt
I love how us truckers come together!! The bandits car flipped over looks great 🤣🤣🤣
Wow those truckers showing up to save one of their own gave me some hope that theirs still good people out willing to help their fellow human!! Well done 👏
@max marrero definitely
Kudos to the truckers!! Much respect
Loved seeing people come together like that and fight against criminals.
I was dying when the truckers flipped the bandits car over 😂
I will never forget being with my Dad in his 1976 Peterbuilt in the middle of a rainstorm in Oklahoma.
I loved that the truckers stood together…..it shows humanity is still alive and well.
It’s far too easy to think there is safety in having such a big vehicle, but it only takes a few lunatics with rocks or worse to make things really precarious.
We owe a huge amount to these drivers, respect.
Why truckers should be carrying guns. All those truckers coming to the rescue was awesome.
No kidding. I'm weird about taking a day trip w/o carrying. I would need to be armed to the teeth if I were a real trucker.
Guns are great to have
the guy who stopped to help the other man(trucker) who flipped during the storm is a real one!!! love shit like that! also, the truckers who flipped the "bandits" car are amazing!!! support is just incredible!!! ❤❤❤
Those truckers demonstrated true brotherhood! I loved it!
My respect for truckers grows by the day
I love that the other truckers came to the guy's rescue! Flipping the car over was phenomenal! All those guys ROCK! I get excited when he uploads a new video. Besides Chilling Scares what other channels do you all recommend?
Mr nightmare
@@jimjump1054 I do want his channel too. He is awesome! Some of the other channels I have tried to watch but they just don't capture my attention like Chilling Scares & Mr. Nightmare.
Criminally listed bro that’s fire 🔥
@@PENNYBAGS39 awesome, thanks. I will definitely have to check out the channel. 😁
Mr Ballen! Not dash cam but awesome stories. If youre into dash cams, you should give drunk body cams a search, thats a great little blackhole to fall down if ya got the time
This video makes me very proud of all those Russian truckers that came to help the one guy from those three bandits very proud congratulations guys for being good truckers that stick together.
I honestly could never get sick of these type of videos love them!!
Gotta love the wholesome love between truckers and their trucker buddies. Twenty truckers all banding together to flip a bandit car is the definition of “homies help homies”
I wish USA truckers could stick together like this 8:57
Right On! That's what I'm talking about! I got so excited when I saw how quickly those Truck Drivers arrived to assist another Truck Driver that had called in for some needed backup from any nearby Truck Drivers! This is exactly how things should be done! Those Truck Drivers didn't hesitate to go and help the other Truck Driver that needed their help. Our world needs more people willing to help one another! Unlike that weak-minded bandit attempting to rob the Driver. Those guys in that small car got what they deserved! (8:13) A perfect ending to an unfortunate situation! This is great! I'm sharing and subscribing!
Ida, that was the scariest hurricane I've been through even over Katrina. I could actually hear the walls in my house breathing from the pressure.😲🌪️
7:00 shoutout to the random guy helping out the truck driver to make sure he was okay when the storm flipped the truck. If the wind was strong enough to blow a truck over, that wind would easily make a person fly but he still went out his way to check on the truck driver before running for cover ✊
10:59 That man is to old to be doing that 💀
I love how all the truckers came to help. Truckers unite
