Mate, with welding skills like that, I'm really looking forward to you coming to New Zealand 🤫 haha, jokes. Things are looking good on the boat. Keep up the good work 💪. SV Kiwi Lady Opua Bay of islands New Zealand 👍🏿.
It's not that hard to get Darcy to weld, I'm sure he just knows if some one needs welding within 100 km and then he just goes and does it haha. We can't wait to sail to New Zealand :-)
Where's coconut the cat ? Good job on getting so much done. I really enjoy watching 👀 you two looking forward to next week happy travels. Take care of each other.
It’s amazing how the charter companies have flooded the community with catamarans. In 1986 my brother and I were often the only Cats in a marina. Marinas had trouble finding a place to dock us. We would get so excited when the occasional eccentric Britt would sail in on their Snowgoose. There was a French couple on an aluminum Cat that we crossed paths with a few times and a pair of Marine Biologist on a Wharram. The Catalacks, Solaris and a few other production Cats were seldom seen on the high seas. Before 1990, if a Cat was crossing oceans, it was a Prout. I am so happy to see you carrying on the tradition. BTW, I also carried a TIG welder onboard, also the Myford lathe. It is a great feeling to share your skills with the community.
We feel so safe on our Prout! knowing all the oceans they have crossed in the past makes us feel that if we keep learning we can do it to! Darcy loves welding on other peoples boats, now if i could only get him to do as much welding on supernova haha :-) It must have been such a cool feeling knowing you had one of the few cats that could take you anywhere!
Great video. One thing about your vent boxes. You should have made the bottom of the box sloped so as not to allow the box to fill up, that way it will drain.
Good to see you both back on board Supernova getting ready for another year of sailing adventures, good welding Darcy and happy birthday of course, keep smiling and looking forward to both of you dancing on the foredeck to the sound of your new supernova speakers stay save and see ye next Friday 💖
100% critical Weather proof speaker install. I heard Yevette just like you Darcy..... Shes glad you took time out of your guys busy day to get much needed music to the deck despite MANY other jobs which needed to be done. You got a ton done and them speakers will be clutch while sitting out on the tramps out front sipping a pina colada with coco rocking to the tunes! :)
Great video Darcy and Yvette! Maybe put a coat of bright pink paint on your new coconut husker so you can see it if you happen to forget to put it away (and it will match your boat theme). Really great to see you helping the other boaters with your welding expertise. Looking forward to seeing Captain Coco back on board!
Dear Sailing Supernova 👍👌👏 Oh WOW, simply fantastic! What a great video. Y'all did sooo incredibly much work and finished jobs, it's quite impressive ho much progress happened. Congratulations 🎉 Great to see that you are all helping each other. The boating community seems to be the same = great all over the world. 2) Of course I'm still the procrastination king because of decades of experience. But I have to admit that you came quite close. For instance: Not to be able to shut and secure a door for a year because of the satellite cable going through, almost made my king's throne shaky. 😁 ;-) 3) The new sail is looking great. Will you keep the old one as a spare or get rid of it to gain more space for other stuff? 4) It's great to have a friend with a 3D plodda! 😁 ;-) I'm also thankful to him, that he managed the problem with the bilge pump while you're away. A sunken pink cat is amongst the last things I wanna see. 4) The coconut debarker/dehusker is really nice to have. 5) Last but not least: When and where will CCTS (Coco's Canadian twin sister) arrive? Thanks a lot for making teaching explaining recording editing uploading and sharing. Best regards luck and especially health to all involved people.

Coco had to get a surgery done so we took her to Canada, she also needed a bunch of other things and travel paperwork, She will be back with us very soon :-)

I would question the speakers over the spreader lights as well! So happy you achieved so much during your layover and now back to your travel adventures!
To top it all off we are missing a part to use the speakers haha, But we should get the lights in soon, and in Darcy's defense, he did do all the hard wiring needed to the lights :-)
The video where you rescued the cat popped up as a suggestion for me. Of course I had to subscribe and then watch a bunch more videos to see how it turned out for her. This looks like a fun channel. Thanks for taking care of that poor kitty !
You should have drilled the starlink cable hole higher up in the locker as that was a bulkhead that it went through also you need to seal the inside of the hole before the plywood gets wet. 😊 a water proof cable gland would be a good idea.
We did bunch of fiberglass work there so the wood is safe, the bulkhead is just a bit more forward so we should be good with that to, plus with any luck we will stop water from getting in there soon haha :-) The big problem is the cable has 3/4 things on it which makes it a pain in the but to move anywhere

About that anchor they do have anchor mounts that you can mount on a side rail I think they're called anchor stanchion or something like that I don't know how heavy that anchor is but it's something you could check out I don't know if it's something that Brian could make on his 3D printer for you but it would be a nice way to store the anchor out of your way out not in the locker and free that back up for your fuel cans.
