Appreciate the effort from him but this master is distorted and squashed. Not clean at all. Probably would’ve been better to sacrifice some loudness and not hit it has hard with the limiter.

I like that your doing videos going through the entire mixing and mastering process beginning to end. It's much more useful than tips and tricks and short form how to video's. This way we not only see the plugins you use, but we learn when and why to use them. I hope to see more video like this for more genres of music ie House, Pop ,Dubstep etc. I could see a whole series of videos like these being useful across all genres given how different the whole process can be depending on the genre. Thanks and keep up the good work!

good mastering channel ! a good tip is to import your master files into "loudness penalty" in order to know how much platforms will decrease the volume of your song !

How can you tell the difference between a bad frequency and a just sounding loud bad frequency I’ve always had a hard issue with that because when you turn it up, it’s all bad. So is the trick not to turn it up loud when you’re solo ing or when you’re sweeping

It’s a high shelf curve so it’s boosting a little under 24k as well, not just at 24k like a bell curve would do.
