- You may be asking why do I have swirls in my paint? Watch as we show you how easy it is to remove swirls in black paint. Do you wonder how swirls happen? Or what are holograms? Holograms in car paint patterns of micro scratches in your car's clear coat that can leave the finish looking dull and messy, no matter how clean it may be! These paint holograms are usually caused by the misuse of a rotary polisher while polishing paint during auto detailing.
Out of the many different kinds of holograms you may stumble upon in the world (or universe), paint holograms on your car are some of the least desirable!
But fear not - Joey is here to show you how to remove holograms from your car's paintwork using just a few products and a little bit of time!
Before you get to work on hologram removal, you'll want to get your car's paintwork as clean and contaminant-free as possible. In this video, Joey will use the OG Clay Bar and Clay Luber to safely pull embedded contaminants from your car's surface, leaving it ready for paint hologram removal.
Next, Joey will use V36 polish to make quick work of the holographic paint swirls themselves; then, for the ultimate photo finish, he'll use the ultra-refined V38 finish polish to restore your paint to a smooth, mirror-like look, leaving it with a stunning, like-new shine!

Is there a video on how much hand pressure to apply on the 15DA? i feel like that would also help a lot to know
We recommend adding 3-5 pounds of pressure when polishing.
U also recommend this for white paint?
Definitely! The same process works for white paint, you're just luckier that the white will hide most of these swirls and holograms and they won't be as noticeable as on black paint. Thanks for watching!

What about doing polish on a new car what would i start off with clay bar then finishing polish ? I just got me a 2024 dark horse and its all black

Would Black Light work as well as Jet Seal?
Jetseal will provide more protection than Black Light. You can also apply Black Light before Jetseal for more shine and protection!
