...thinking about.....Europe.....and his hand-model demonstration. This man is a god. No one living is as funny as Martin Short. He's a real comedy treasure.
....ohhh haa HAA! This is making me cry...with hilarious laughter!......and the fact my Dad would have loved this!......except he's gone. He loved SCTV but we never saw this one.
He probably should have attended the Ray McKegney or George Costanza Schools of hand modeling. Might have boosted his career, or given him the upper "hand," at least!
+DVincentW thanks . That's a dino to you too. I've been recording on vhs all of Martys Cable specials. starting with his first one on Showtime. I have 3 and even own his Storytellers as Johnny Appleseed w Molly Ringwald up to his 1ST JIMINY Click show to prime time Glick. I compiled these all onto dvd quality not great but it was the only way I could go to school and do all my Martin Short impressions. Jackie being the hardest. Irving Cohen and Lawrence being my best. I started writing Marty when I was 8 when he was on SNL and have 3 autographed letters via his head shots from him. He's a genius and kind to his adoring fans. Even the preteen ones. :-D
I think he did more sketches with this character but seemed to tone down the "weirdness" and made him more just dumb/goofy. This is the funniest version though imo.

Exactly why I posted this. The dog is great too. Thanks for commenting.
Amazing at the end how he portrays confidence, lack of confidence and a completely vacant look. Bravo!
I have not seen this since I was 7 years old. It's like my childhood was on a long pause and I just came back to it. Unbelievable!
Hello Mr Pratt Jr sir! Thanks for commenting. And remember, " they're creeping up on you"..
@@DVincentW Good one! Not too many people get the name. Thanks for uploading the video. So awesome!
The dog knocking him over was the funniest part lol
I love how they shot it from two angles and you can see the dog backing away after being hit by the roll of paper towels 🤣
That's Tracy Ullman! These Canadians and Brits sure stick together..& funny AF.

Sorry for the late response.. I understand and relate. Take good care and Be Free.
The greatest. “Make what?”
At least he can still be a circuit court judge. Or a professional hockey player.
One of my favorite Short characters.
Mine too! Thanks for commenting.
Lawrence has always been my all time favorite.
Thanks for posting this.
Glad you enjoyed it!
His Half-Wits appearances were amazing.
Big fan of Short and Lawrence Orbach. Never seen this before. This is rough. I didn't know Short had it in him. Thanks for finding and posting it.
I'm not that strong a swimmer.
When we got pushed over while feeding the dog😂😂😂😂
Yesch.

Too bad Lawrence Orbach never made it big in Hollywood. I think Scorcese missed the boat on him.
I'm thinking about Europe. ...
+juan baudelaire I am glad people like you are alive

Poor Lawrence.
What a bizarre, creepy character 🤣🤣🤣

Not many people realize that Derbingle went on to play Beethoven…the movie, not the music.
Adorable dog. Thanks for that information.
if Lawrence gets any more money, which comes first--his receding hairline or his speech impediment?
It's strange how the character changed after SCTV, like half his brain cells died. :p
Really great acting. Thanks for commenting.
I'm about to play a sport with a rocket.
+Denty One *Racquet , like a tennis racquet. But that one is also funny...kinda.
that's funny yet depressing
"Are you going to make it?" -- ".. Make What?"
Yes. Make what?
Ouch. Too real, but still funny. Was that Tracy Alman doing a female Jimminy Glick?
Tracy Ullman as the casting agent who hates tuna sandwiches.
Derbingle
guess that hairstyle is why some guys prefer to shave all their hair off.
Yep.. "what the hell, its gone there... might as well shave it all."
Telly Savalas (the bald lollipop cop Kojak) style.
This guy acts like Biden.
biden to reporters, "what do you want me to do next? "
That's kind of insulting to Lawrence. I'd rather have Lawrence than any of the vanilla/ chocolate illusion of choice in Voting.
Best regards 👍.
