Whites has more boots in stock quick to ship your order and the quality has been perfect for me. Not a stitch out of place. I’ll eventually try some nicks but so far whites has been the best and quickest. JK got me a pair in two months that was too small now it’s 3 months later and still no boot. Their sizing and instructions is all messed up. Whites instructions were spot on. All these smaller companies still aren’t as good as the original

Is it correct that these are stitchdown but not hand welted stitchdown like the Whites x Division Road model in that other factory tour video? Just trying to learn.
Is it possible to remove the composite toe and repair a new mictoe book . Just got a nice pair of boots, but hate the composite toe they are made with......
I have a pair of lace to toe smoke jumpers in burgundy, I am in love. The price and wait time are worth it. These aren't my first pair, I sent a pair back to nicks because they messed the size up and I have a pair of jk forefronts. the jk boots are garbage, the boots aren't even symmetrical.
This video showcases our standard Stitchdown construction. To see the hand-sewn welt process, take a look at the Rose Anvil collaboration video - ua-cam.com/video/rppxbT9OeuY/v-deo.html.
this similar to my smoke jumper (8 inch) that I have now seeing this boot I fell a little cheated out of a 100$ still a great boot edit: I might be looking stupid but like that is like the same boot but for a 100$ less feel free to tell me if I'm missing something
Recently called and asked about that. This is a great boot, but it's stichdown construction instead of welted, the leather is around 5.5-6oz instead of 7+, and the leather is easier to break in at the cost of durability, and some other construction details including it's a 7" rather than 10". You definitely got more bang for that $100, but these are gorgeous lighter/medium duty boots rather than the beasts you're rocking. Sleep easy and enjoy your bulletproof chonkers.
@@alexdurham4924 As well the smokejumpers are hand welted which adds to the cost. They have their most skilled boot makers doing the smokejumpers especially when it comes to the hand welting. It is by far the slowest process done by which only 3-4 pair of boots an hour are welted per bootmaker doing it.
Looks like Nicks' (social media) success has gotten White's attention.
Social media is the place to be it was about time. Whites has been around much longer than nicks or any of the PNW makers.
Yup.
At last!

It’s good to see skilled craftsmen working. These boots don’t seem nearly as expensive after watching the video.
Dang. I watch a lot of boot/shoe making videos. But these guys have a fluidity and speed I haven't seen yet.
We appreciate that! Thank you for the support.
I thought I noticed the same thing
Best d@mn boots on the market.... Cheers fellas🥃
Appreciate that, Tara!
I love these build videos. Big fan of your boots too. I’ve got two pairs and one being made.
Thank you for the support! Stay tuned for more in our 'From the Factory' series.
Full build video, sweet!
Thank you! Glad to hear you liked it.
I would enjoy seeing the legendary smokejumpers being made White’s.
Still got my Whites from 2009, had em resoled last year, cant wait to buy another pair
Got mine yesterday. Beautiful boots.
Thanks for the support, Richard! Enjoy the new set.
Awesome craftsmanship and beautiful boots! 👌👌
Appreciate that!
Good looking boot. 👍🏼 I would like to see a video on how White's evaluates a boot for a resole and/or rebuild.
Noted! We'll keep that in mind.
Just got a pair of loggers. First boot from whites. Leather and build quality is very apparent right out of the box. Now to break them in
2 pairs Smokejumpers & 1 pair of Nomads here.
Nothing else compares.
That's what we love to hear. Appreciate the support.
Super, super , perfektan video. Prije vas nisam vigjo. Sretan rad , hvala
I have 3 pairs of the Loggers, amazing boots super heavy duty and solid
Thanks for the support, Thomas!
Keep the videos coming 👍
I need to order my next pair in that leather
amazing leather and craftmenship. what type of leather is that?
The final product shown at the end is Natural Double Shot from Seidel Tanning.
Beautiful.👍👍
Yay whites has a bulldog lasting plier too!!!!
Beautiful boot!!but is there a reason the shank isn't glued down?
After watching this video,I want to order my 5th whitesboots😅
I’m going to order a pair soon
Awesome.
Thanks!
Oh! It's Eric!
When the boots are finished, what nails are still part of the final construction?
why use thin chrome tan leather piece for arch support and not same material as leather shank?
i got lucky and snagged one of the few EE versions of this. It is a great boot except for the noticeable gouge in the leather that came with it

Definitely inner sole is thicker and better than nicks 👍👌
I want to see the smoke jumper cut in half. Where can I see it? Do you have videos? Or pictures? If yes. Where?

It's not composite

Мечта. Когда-нибудь я куплю себе такие ботинки!)
I want to see a pair of nomads being made, please
What do you do with boots that don't pass final exams for one reason or another...
Nails held in the mouth . My dentist would have a stroke!
Stiching outside of sole ?? I think this doesn't give long steps😃
Between White's and Nicks, it's a toss-up!
Ok I'll say what us boot guys are thinking. This is precisely the exact same construction as Nicks builder pro now. Exact same style of video.
👢👢
Одного не пойму:куда деваются все эти гвозди?
Расплющиваются об колодку и создают дополнительную опору.
Where's the hand sewn part 😥😩
These are stitchdown construction. It allows them to sell it at a lower price.

Tout le '' raffinement'' américain, outils de forgeron, de charpentier, et kilos de clous en tous genre....
Wait they did not put nails on my c355 loggers!!
Huh?
Your heel nailing guy wouldnt have messed up if he was trying a little harder..
no one speaks because everyone has their nails in their mouths 😆
Everything was looking good until you put those small tiny lephracaun heels on the boots!
Why screw in boot
These boots will last 3 generations and still not be worn in lol.
