awesome review,thanks
Would love for the ACSS reticle to be available on the 509T
I literally just emailed them 2 days ago about it and they said there isn’t one in the works at the moment. ☹️
I’d love to have one with the ACSS Vulcan reticle with a green emitter.
@@BT_Spanky Good to know. That's too bad. Hopefully Trijicon and Aimpoint decide to pick up on the reticle
@@BT_Spanky Did you email Holosun or Primary Arms? I'd think PA would be the better company to lobby -- they've already worked with Holosun to create the ACSS version 509, and the motive for that came from PA not from Holosun.
Primary Arms just announced 509t with ACSS coming in 2022

Great video sir .
Great review
It took me a while but it’s official Aaron is the real deal. Combination of science teacher and footballs coach/ that shoots great.
For those who carry an m&p, the grip takedown pin works a treat if you just grind down the tip ever so slightly. 0 functional Impact and you will always have the tool for the battery tray and the Windage/elevation adjustments on hand
Damn, that’s actually brilliant! Thanks for sharing
Just bought the optic and temporarily have it on the rail of my 22 target pistol while rethinking my centerfire. M&P is something to consider since I do like safeties.
Love it, grabbed one for an ak and it's been fantastic so far. It has a bit more fish eyeing on the lense than other pistol optics iv seen but for the closed emitter and battery life I'm ok with that.
Been running one since they came out. Carried 16hrs a day every day. Shake awake on, 2nd brightest setting. I get about 2-3 months until the low battery flash. Using Energizer batteries.
Jingoistic, I learned a new word, thank you.
Great video!
I have a deep respect for you simply because you used the term “jingoistic” and used it properly lmao. I’ve had too many conversations that start with “actually your wrong, that’s not racist, it’s jingoist” and end with me explaining that it is, in fact, a real word, and how it’s the literal definition of what they’re talking about.
That’s racist
i have more holosuns than any other brand for my firearms. excellent optics in my opinion. i do have some of the other big names and the quality is damn near neck and neck. holosun just has a better price point. one aimpoint or eotech OR 3-4 holosun? for my use, the holosun is plenty strong and reliable. if a us company could make an optic at holosuns pricepoint, id definately go that direction but till then or the big names have a fire sale, holosun.....for now. great vid and thank you for the hard(fun) work you put in so we can know what to expect when we go to buy optics or any other 2A products. thank you again and you have my sub.
Can’t wait to see what it looks like at 20k
I've been holding off on one of these for a while, what I really want is the Vulcan reticle in this optic body.
You know how smart that would be???
I’ve been waiting for them to put that reticle in the 512c
@@SmallArmsEnjoyer I don’t see the need for a Vulcan on an optic that’s going on a rifle. Am I missing something? I have one on one of my snappier pistols to help find the dot but with a stock and cheek rest I don’t see the value.
@@jt2475 huge advantage on a rifle, the ^ alone should give you bdc for 300 yards if you know how to use an ACSS
@@easbreid9879 I’m talking about the Vulcan. What reticle are u talking about?
I have one and I’m pleased with its performance
Well done . Enclosed and sealed means NO FOGGING as with single lens units . Only thing missing is a kill flash shield !
Your test are amazing
I've got one of these mounted on a PSA AK-V and absolutely love it.
How’s it holding up on a AK?
@@floydkeimiii303 so far, so good with about 1,200 rounds on it.
Thanks for the info
I have one mounted on an Arisaka Offset red dot mount. It's sweet.
same here !
Just got one for my canik I'm loving it so far
I fucking love that he actually knows science. When he pauses to choose the right word @440 and describes light as frequency. Hell yes brother, guns and science!
Its wavelength. Measured in nanometers. Frequency is measured in oscillations per second like Hertz. Its still a misspeak.
@@ericmckinley7985 This fuckin’ guy. Yeah, I get that, but the fact that he described light in such a manner means he actually understands what light is and its waveform, and likely the biological mechanisms we possess to interpret EMR in the visible spectrum.
@@smith8124 Yes sir. At the end of the day, while Mr McKinley's point appeals to my inner hypertechnical nerd, it's a distinction w/o an end-use difference -- or in plainspeak, "no harm, no foul."
Do you still recommend PWS @sagedynamics I’m curious if there was a falling out there or you no longer believe in their products?
great review. just picked one up for my caryy piece and i can say it prints like 5% more than my rmr or venom (dont buy vortex people, they are horrible) but i have been super impressed with the 509t.
