    It's incredible how good plugins and modellers sound nowadays. Loadboxes and IR's are also amazing.
    I think in this day and age for the guitar hobbyist, it's actually more important to have a set of good studio monitors than an actual guitar cab.

      Indeed!

    Definitely try out Mercuriall Spark next mate! By far the best 800 2203/4 plugin out there, they just totally nailed the "feel" of it somehow (though, a tip is to turn the Input knob down to 2 when playing EMGs into it. The input control simulates impedance in an interesting way and defaults to 5 which is much much higher than needed)

    I bought one from reverb 2 days ago .... the amp should be here this Sunday , I cant wait to hear the amp in action !! how loud the amp for a studio recording ? i need to get a reactive loadbox or i can get a decent tone in a room volume ? btw your videos convinced me to buy the amp... awesome work man and great playing .

      Cool!
      Like with all tube amps, or at least with 100 w ones, one definitely needs a load box or attenuator to get a good sound at low volumes.

    wasp Bro, I guess it makes more sense to get the 2203 with EL34s then add your own eq or pedals if you want the KK sound, but I do like all those mic and amp settings, its def a all around Marshall metal sound...but again; if you could only choose on softie Marshall...would it not be the 2203?

    Hey Euge, it's a bit off topic but I want to ask if you (as a guitar player) are equally convinced by the quality of Nembrini Amps as the ones from Softube. They have interesting models. But for me as a non guitarist is a bit difficult to judge the small but important details of the responsiveness and such. Would love to hear your opinion. Thank you. Cheers
    PS all I can say is that Amp Room always is a joy when I put it on an electric piano and go wild with it or if I use it for re-ramping. Nembrini for me seems to be a bit hard sounding in comparison.

    Looks like the KK has more low end because of KT84 tubes

  • @anders2077
    @anders2077 3 роки тому +1

    Man, that’s a close one to say the least. Still the real amp has that extra cream. But to be honest only a guitarist would notice that. ;-)
    Lots of highs, mids and KT88 tubes really gets that gnarly and aggressive Slayer sound for sure. Brings back memories from the 90-s and the sound I tried to dial in. Will probably try it.

    • @EugeValovirta230V
      @EugeValovirta230V  2 роки тому

      Yeah we had some unique power, or whatever, regulations considering amps and Marshall needed to adapt to that. All Marshalls from that time (80s) has Swedish text on the back so they’re easily identifiable 👌. They’re all the most aggressive 800s I’ve played and I’ve played 100s of different ones on tours all over the world.
      Here’s a video I did about the subject: ua-cam.com/video/5I6nTYCEpVs/v-deo.html
