Awesome! I’m digging this V4.0 Pete! My husband, Miller, has the V3.0 and loves it! I have the Reckless 10L which is perfect for day trips but I will need the 40 for more space eventually and I’m loving these changes! Thank you Mosko Moto! ✌️😁
I love my 40! I upgraded to the Stinger 22 and got two of the 2L Molle storage bags and I have more than enough room for everything I need on my DR650. Great product y'all!!!
That's a killer setup! With the added storage of the Singer 22 and the 2L MOLLE pouches, you'll have the flexibility to have a larger and a smaller setup depending on the trip.

Gee, where did you find this Pete guy? He doesn't know the first thing about Mosko Moto. I've been using Mosko gear for 32 years. You should definitely use me for your videos. I can even do an Australian accent if needed, or Italian if you want them to seem luxurious.
Unfortunately, there isn't a fuel cut out on the Reckless 40L but there is one on the Reckless 80L. Using the standard straps or the optional Gnoblin moving the Reckless 40L harness out of the way for refueling isn't a big job. The other option is that if you remove the Stinger 22L and the beavertail from the Reckless 80L using just the leg bag is ~56L of storage. That way you have a similar amount of storage and the fueling cut out.
Yes! You can install the beavertail so that instead of closing front/back it will close side to side so you can change the orientation of the Stinger 22.
If I understand you correctly, not really. The Reckless 40l dry bags were designed for use with the Reckless harness. However, the included Stinger 8 can be used as a stand-alone tail bag.
Hello Mosko Moto, I am so lucky that I have just mounted my mosko moto reckless 80 revolver 4.0 on a KTM 890 adventure R. hr played a bit with the set-up as I think the bags will be laid out. it seems difficult to clamp the plastic/carbon frame to the frame. have tried everything, can see from your films that yours sit close to the frame.. what am I doing wrong, can send you pictures. I look forward to hearing from you
I really want to be sold on this lolol. I'm looking to take a trip this year and need some luggage. I love this system. One issue - my bike is a 22' Triumph Street Twin 900cc. I have removed the rear fender and installed a tail tidy and have a bench seat installed. Any help on what I would need or if it's even possible to use this system on my bike. Thank you for any incite.
Hey Cloud9847 - The biggest hurdle you will have to overcome is where to attach the rear mounting straps. We have had customers bolt a set of cleats to somewhere secure when they don't have a rear rack for mounting straps attachment points. You can also send photos to our Customer Service Team at moskomoto@moskomoto.com for a second opinion. Additionally, you post photos and this question on our Facebook Group - Mosko Moto Riders Group to see if anyone has done anything similar!
The Reckless 40L doesn't have the fuel hole cut out. If you use the Reckless 40L with the Gnoblin it makes taking the harness off a simple affair. As another option, if you run the Reckless 80L without the Beavertail, Stinger 22L, and Tent Pole Pocket the harness is ~56 liters of space. That puts you close to the Reckless 40L and you get the fueling hole cut out!
My goal is one gallon fuel bag along with Reckless 40 - Long day trips. I'd like to be sure this combination would work out well, '22 KTM 500 exc- f. 3.1 gål gas tank. Thanks!
@@MoskoMoto I’m using a Gnoblin mounted to a panonian rack. Rear is super secure, its the side bags that are flopping up and down when I’m riding in offroad terrain
@@Plparadise One way would be to bring the harness a little closer to the seat and on the non-exhaust side you could make the leg more horizontal so more of the leg is resting on the bike's plastics. Additionally, you could mount a cleat or something like a canyon dancer on the underside of the bike and run an additional strap from the harness to the cleat to help control the flapping.
And just like so instead of a soft luggage MoskoMoto just enter in a semirigid luggage state. Maybe they are focusing more on the >1000 cmc type of rider.
Can you kindly advise if the reckless 40 fit the KTM 390 Adventure. It would be greatly appreciated, if you may shoot a video with KTM 390 Adventure if possible please.
Hey Maheshreddy - If you configure the Reckless 40l in the wide setting, there shouldn't be any issues mounting it on your KTM 390 ADV. If you head over to our friends Outback Motortek's social media, they have some awesome photos of a V3 Reckless 40l on a KTM 390. The V3 has a similar fit as the V4 so it's a great reference!
We don't typically carry it but we have plenty of customers who do. We see people strap the bear can spray to the front MOLLE panels of the Reckless bags. @@robertvogel259

Yes! You can install the beavertail so that instead of closing front/back it will close side to side so you can change the orientation of the Stinger 22.
Hey Pete, can these bags be attached to a rack without using that cushion and backing that it came with? Can you just attach these bags to a rack.

The new V4.0 harness is stiff by design and once it's loaded down with weight it'll hug closer to the bike.
Does the harness no longer have a cut out at the tail for bikes like the Husqvarna 701 / KTM 690? 😢
The Reckless 40L hasn't had the fuel cutout for the 690/701 but the Reckless 80L does!
