"Thank you Pavlin" 🤣🤣🤣 You made made day 😆 Good luck with your trip !
I hope if he sees it, it's made as a tribute. :)
@@NomadSweden let's make sure he sees it :D
@@NomadSweden Of course We all know... ✌️ Similar to: "Good morning Internet it's 8:40" 😝 Chill Dude!
@@NomadSweden I saw it and I like the accent! Come to Bulgaria, I will give you a few Bulgarian lessons.
@@darko156 Thank you!
It was interesting to see what you would bring on a motorcycle trip in 2024. For a single person without camping gear I wouldn't consider 30 l luggage light. In 1978 on my first motorcycle trip with my girlfriend as passenger from Denmark to Southern France on a Suzuki GT550 we had our tent, mattresses and sleeping bags in a sailor's sack. Two 25 l panniers were used for other camping gear, stove, clothes, water, food, tools and two stroke oil. Maps, guidebooks and cameras were in the tank bag. It went very well and we continued to use the same recipe for some years - also when my back convinced me to get a motorcycle with a more upright riding position. We also had room to bring back some nice bottles of wine.
thanks for your thoughts :)
The parity of Pavlin is great. Best laugh I've had all week!
😂🙏
Love your imitation of Pavlin :D. Enjoy your journey
This is by far the best packing guide and the best tips for what to bring on a motorcycle tour i've ever come across. All the stuff you actually need, multi-purpose/combined use, nothing unnecessary and all in a very small volume which could fit on literally any bike. Just all-around very well thought out, thanks for sharing!
Thanks 🙏
So think you'll get around to reviewing how your kit worked out? A truthful debriefing about how practical your gear was in hindsight would be gold.
I believe you’ve got it all covered And are looking forward to watching your adventures .
Pavlin’s cameo…. Priceless.
Looks like you're perfectly equipped. Don't forget to pack earplugs! Pleasant with a loud helmet, or if one of you snores! I'm looking forward to the video afterwards! I wish you a great time and always keep on staying on the top side of the bike.🤘Have fun and rock it!👍
Great video Robert, thanks for sharing!! Can't wait for the next series!! 👍👍
Very thorough! Thank you for sharing, and enjoy the trip!
Well prepared with all your experience.Have a wonderful trip with the guys. I am looking forward to see the videos.
Greetings,Ralf!
Lots of good tips - tack snälla. Thank you for sharing!
WOW 🥰🔥🙌🏻 nice video. I love how detailed you have listed everything.
I look forward to the upcoming videos.👍🏻
Even though your vest looks tacticool a.f., be aware that hard objects in the pockets can smash your bones and organs in case of a severe crash.
Enjoy your trip and I´m looking forward to the epic videos that are about to come.
Happy you used correct word “kickback”.
Have an epic and safe adventure, Robert. I'm looking forward to the videos when you return.
The trip sounds great, good luck. Enjoy it !!!! Gus
I have a 66L roll top waterproof duffel that I use on the rear rack and pillion. turned longitudinally so it doesn't extend on the sides and catch on trees or create aerodynamic drag, and that's enough for minimalist ultralight primitive camping (aka wild camping in Europe). I have a light blue ultralight roll top waterproof bag for my clean clothes, and another the same size in gray for dirty clothes so my clean clothes don't smell like my dirty clothes. When the dirty clothes bag is full, I give it a squirt of soap and water and it's the camp washing machine.
You really nailed the pavlin crossover, safe travels from Norway
Pavlin moment was great! Someday, maybe you will meet Pavlin for a little trip together and a video of course!
On my last big motorbike adventure I rode 24,000km in 98 days ,I had a lot of camping gear packed on the bike but as it turned out I only camped 12 nights ,on my next big trip the camping gear is staying home 👍
Camping is awesome, and we do it all the time in Sweden. But on trips like this, it's awesome to find lodgings along the road and meet people. Pavlin(?) was tight :)
same here. I did wild camping the first time now in the wester Alps, it was awesome. But on the Offroad Tracks i dumped my Camping Stuff and sent it back home. Then i really had fun being almost 8 KGs lighter.
Lynton I recommend bringing a sleeping bag and a bike cover. If it's super nice out you can sleep under the stars and if it isn't sleeping bag and bike cover are 6kg together :)
Looking forward to the holiday travel video’s like last year. Enjoy and stay safe.
Best video I found of what to pack on your motorcycle trip on UA-cam. Thanks men ! I'll use many of your tips on my trip !
Glad you liked it 👍🏻
Happy and safe riding 👍
Looks great! Something that is light and very nice to have in case of a fall in a remote area is clutch and brake levers.
Yes good idea - fit after market levers before you leave & carry originals as spares so you know they will fit!
Have a nice trip and good luck.
Very excited to see the resulting videos
Ha en riktigt djävla bra tur..Stay dry and drive safe. 👍👍👍
I just found your channel. The algorithm gave me this video of yours. I have subscribed. I like to watch videos by experienced long distance riders. You have given me great ideas, thank you. I’m aiming to buy myself a Himalayan bike soon and I’m stocking up on knowledge before hand. I’ll be watching your journeys with great interest. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Happy riding! Hi from England.👍
Thank you! 🙏
Thank you very much for the nice video and I wish you a fantastic trip. Ride on
Great video, I hope the trip goes (or went) well!
Thank you, make everything so straight forward and fun as well
Thanks mate
Have an awesome trip👍
Excellent ideas, thank you!
Great video Robert. Hope you have a great trip. Really looking forward to seeing the video series when you are back. Very jealous I am not going haha.
Enjoy your trip and stay safe!
Thank you!
Five weeks of epicness!! Hell yeah!
I love your details.
Hope you'll have a fantastic trip! Ride safe! :)
On our last trip through the Balkans (5 weeks) we camped a total of 2 nights. It was a huge pain to carry all that garbage up on every trail. Completely understand your decision 🙌
:) Thanks! As mentioned, we love camping but since this is also a cultural journey, staying at small, personal pensions etc enhances that part of the trip and makes more new friends.
fantastic video and useful advice! Thanks for sharing!
Glad you liked it 😊
Have a safe trip 👍👍
have a great adventure, so looking forward to the videos , stay safe
Have a nice trip ! Enjoy your ride ! Looking forward to your Videos ;)
Really good tips. Your Pavlin impersonation was so good I was sure I was watching the man himself. Safe trip and fun trip to all of you.

Turkey is in my radar for next year. Have a good trip.
🙏
Woohoo! I've started popping the popcorn already! Waiting eagerly!
Me too! :) I just have to go through the process of doing the actual trip first. But I would like to see the video first.
Very nice video and Pavlin reference
Informative and brilliant as usually enjoy your adventure
Thanks :)
Very interesting, Thanks for the laugh, with the Pavlin section.
Nice video Robert...I like the Pavlin impression!! ( and imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, so I'm sure he approved) I'm going get the Enduristan tool 🔧 pack..it looks good 👍. Look forward to seeing this exciting adventure!!. ( Just PLEASE don't use the words ' 5 weeks ' anymore...I'm too envious!!) Cheers, Steve 😊
Great love your delivery, detail mixed with a little humour. Keep up the great content, cant wait to see the footage from your Balkans adventure......
Thanks :)
If you pass slovenia by any chance, it will be most probable quite near my town, then you are welcome for sleepover at my home. Not a grande hotel, but is good for sleepover for your gang. Maribor, slovenia.
Thanks for the offer!
@@NomadSweden safe to park, dead end street and think enough place in house for everybody, just modest home.
I loved the Pavlin impersonation. You're a really good communicator.
🙏
So envious 😭 Have a nice trip 😎
thank you sir, it is a very great info. stay safe👍👍👍
Nice option with the bearings and breakpads - consider to take also spare Clutch and break leaver - those ones are fast to break and hard to get in the middle of nowhere...
This guy is so down to earth, that he likes and comment back to almost every comment in the box.
You are living my dream Robert sir.
Lots of Love ❤️❤️ and blessings from India.
Thank you 🙏 appreciate it 😊
Kör lugnt och hoppas ni får en härlig resa. Ser fram mot att se den på film sen. 🙂Man blir grymt inspirerad av era filmer.
Tackar!
Enjoy your adventure trip ✌️💪👍
I ditched all the camp gear last year so much better. I do pack a small lightweight hammock with rainfly and mosquito net just in case the road changes my plans. I could fit the thing in my jacket pocket so small and light. Nice setup you have!
Which hammock do you use? And do you take a sleeping bag?
@@Spaxcore Ex military two tours Iraq I cannot sleep in a tent. I need to lift my head and see around me mild ptsd they tell me, whatever. Anyway that's why I use a hammock, Snugpack Jungle with their hammock quilt.
@@_Corsa sorry to hear that but glad you found a solution so you can still enjoy the outdoors. I've been looking at those snugpaks, neat bit of kit.
Safe trip, enjoy.
Hy Pavel 2, you forget to grab your favorit drink....great, have a great trip and stay healthy, greetings, Christian from Graz
Griass Di!
very nice video! in about one week I'm heading off for a 7 week TET / ACT Offroad trip to spain and as I always try to lose weight you gave me some very useful inputs🙂, thanx and have a good trip!!!
Wow have a great adventure
Brilliant... I love they way you make videos. It feels like listening to a friend :D
But I am your friend… 😊 Thanks Diogo
Great movie! See you on the TET guys!
Looking forward to the videos
I love your videos so much man!
Thanks Dennis 👍🏻
Great video. Some awesome tips, they'll definitely come in useful on my next trip! Also, the tribute to Pavlin was great! Hope he sees it!
Thanks! Pavlin actually commented 😊
@@NomadSweden Awesome, I must've overlooked it. Glad he saw it, it was pure gold!
Looking very forward to that Skydio footage, the very best drone for motorcycle shots as far as i know... and yes, i love your way of packing, travelling by myself with a 30l bag, though i have to admit, i have not been out there for like 5 weeks ;-)
Couldn’t agree more about the camping kit, just back from a five week trip and camped one night….
Hey man! New subscriber here. Beginning to plan a trip of my own. Great info. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Randy! Welcome to the channel.
Looking forward too follow your tripp 👋👋
Have a good trip guys (bytheway the Pavlin parody was awesome)
Thank you!
Thanks. It's helpful.
Thanks Robert a great video. Maybe for your list, a spare ignition key? I lost it one time on a trip and it gives me a lot of trouble. You didn't go anywhere 😂 stay safe on your journey 🤠
Thanks! I have the extra key packed now :)
Best Pavlin impression ever.
😂
Hoppas resan blir allt va ni önskar och mer 👍
Tack! Jag med
Hahahahahaaaa! You dragged Pavlin into this! beautiful!!
Yes i have to ask him sometimes 😂
Pavlin parody and the lazer printer made me laugh.
I can totally confirm Revolut is the best for travelling and in general. It's often the only card which works under all circumstances and changing currencies is just a tap in the App. Withdrawing cash at foreign ATMs come with only small fee or even for free sometimes.
Thanx for video, it came right on time to check my self before my trip tomorrow morning.
Very similar setup, only we bring tent )). 35 day from croatia to georgia folowing TET.
tnx and enjoy maybe I see somewhere in turkey
Have a great trip! Yes our ways could be crossed :)
You nailed it the Pavlin's joke :D But we have to give'm the respect... ;)
It full of respect. Dont think otherwise. Pavlin even had fun at this himself and commented
Great Travel packing guide...just loving your chanel. Greetings from Tenere owner Switzerland :-) Robert
Thank you 🙏
That was so cool Robert that immitation. You really made him perfect! I was laughing so much. Have a safe trip full of experiences. PS In the next episode pls. immitate Itchy boots!
Hehe I will try. Just need some mascara :)
Enjoy your trip. Looking forward to the video's. Oh, don't forget your drivers license with your documents. Have fun.
Thanks for it you re great organizer 👍
Thanks!
You thought about everything! 👏👏👏
Except that thing I forgot! 😊
Thanks for the video. Lots of good info.
I am skeptical about two things.
1 The merino wool base layer. I think it will be a lot hotter than a synthetic one.
2. The packing west. I think it will get quite uncomfortable in hotter weather and you will probably wish you just had a tank bag to minimize weight on the body.
But let me know how it goes, will follow your videos for sure.
I would also recommend a mirrored / darkened visors for the hot riding days.
I did a similar trip to yours but also visited Cyprus and kurdistan iraq, highly recommended since you are in the area. Anyways I look forward to the videos.
Thanks. The merino is proven to be cooling so i’m trying it for myself. I have a version made for hot weather.
Packvest is a test. I will see how it works.
I have a very dark visor. Klim Krios Pro has auto tinting so if no sun it is clear but in sun its black.
Synthetic is hotter and it smells very quickly from body odour. Merino comes in different weights, you get the thick one for winter and thin one for summer. It is really good, doesn't make you sweat when hot and doesn't smell (everything smells after extended periods but Merino takes a longer time). In the really cold weather I think synthetics are a bit warmer but I still use merino for the smell factor. You can do a week without washing it. It isn't magical, just the best option we humans and sheep have come up with. I recommend you give it a go yourself. A bit more expensive but worth it IMO.
Exelent video 👍
Hello NSW! Come again, especially for Tekel and Green Efes. 😊👍
your impersonate of Pavlin is hilarious)))
Safe travels
Lol. That was hilarious. I love Pavlin - and that was a great impression. You both have a similar vibe. ✌
Haha thanks
