Great setup, Robert! I can't wait to buy my Reckless 40. Thank you for this easy installation explanation.
Glad you liked it :)
First video of 2024, what a lovely gift ❤
😊
Great video Robert, looking forward to your 2024 offerings. Happy New Year 👍🏻
Looks great on the T7 Robert, well done! 👍👍
Perfect with a video on the New Years Day Rob! Really liked the look of the Rack, snug fit and welcome to the rock steady Mosko Reckless club 💪🤠🔥.
Thanks Tjommi!
Looks great.Might look into one in the new year, sits lovely on the t7.Thanks and have a safe and healthy New Year.
Thanks! you too!
Wow looks really good! Great demonstration 👌 Love the colours!
Me too 😊
The best video Mosko Moto, great explanation 👏👏
Thanks 🙏
Nice vide as always. Will look forward to your on-road, off-road review once the weather allows.
The quality from Mosko Moto is amazing. I have the 80 liter bags and some clothes from them.
Great video! Thanks for showing this on your Ténéré!
They look really practical and cool. I’ll be really curious about a review from you, after a longer trip when they’ll be exposed to the elements. 👍🏻
Thank you, and a safe new year👍🏼👍🏼

Nice setup Nomad... They are pricey and expensive but you get what you pay for, mosko moto is one of the best you can get, you'll never need another one, ride safe and see you down the trail
Thank you 🙏
First video of 2024!! I wish you Health, Happiness and time for enjoying amazing new experiences with your beautiful Tenere
Thank you!
Rob that colour is fantastic ! I really love it !

@@NomadSweden would the Carinthia and the tent and the clothes and the Trangia set and all, just fit there ?
Not the big sleeping bag. It’s huge and would take up the whole bag itself. I will use this for summer camping above 10 degrees.
Thank you. I have similar set up but opted for Yamaha rear seat rack. We will see how it fits.
Great setup! That white rack fit just right. Enjoy your rides.
Thanks :)
Pretty nice setup sir!
Just wanted to have a look at the Goblin fastening on the new Rackless (I have the older metal brackets). I searched for a video and there you were Robert! First that came up! Not a surprise I guess but pleasant as usual.
Short and spot on installation demo. Very well done. Not a surprise that either but again, pleasant. Keep up the good work!
Thank you Kristian! See you soon 😊🍺
I have the rack from Atalier for a year now and I am really happy with it! It is so lightweight and as you describe it is 'elegant'.
Nice setup!
Thanks, nice to hear
Contacted the manufacturer as there is no way to order products on its website. Requires a lot of jumping through hoops to get on in NL. Bummer.. @@NomadSweden

Happy new year 🎆
Gott Nytt År! Jag fick Mosko R10, tiolitersvarianten i julklapp av mig själv. För kortare fisketurer och skogskörning.
Gott nytt!
Hi Robert,
Nice durable luggage, Mosko Moto is perfect 👍 💪
This rack is beautiful designed, just Italian passion ❤️👌🏻
Happy new year, best wishes and many projects/vids in 2024

Thanks and happy new year 😊
Looks neat and tidy Robert! Look fwd to a ride report on the gear!
solid setup, have fun :)
This is exactly the video I need ! ❤
Awwwww, does it suit needs? FFS
Du bist so leiwand. Ich liebe dich! Danke für deine Beiträge!

Damn this setup is so nice, and I really love the new colour of these bags. They would look perfectly on my blue World Raid 🤩
I predict yellow bags in your future. 🔮🧙

Same bags and color as me! 40L is plenty. I'm also a fan of beautiful Italian racks!!

Nice bags but ridiculously expensive.
Brukt denne ett år. Perfekt størrelse. Ekstremt god kvalitet! Kombinerer med 8 liter, eller en 20 duffel. Tankveske Gnome eller Pico, avhengig av behov. GSA 1250.
Happy 2024!
Great product. Own the 1st version.
Thank you very much
God kvalitet, men desværre for dyrt! Hilsen Michael
Excellent thanks 👍
my buddy has the r40 and i have the kriega os 18 on the sides, both systems are great, but his feels more sturdy as mine is lighter. i love that he has multiple different pockets, kriega is just a big hole to throw stuff in..., but can fit bigger items...give and take. but I am super Jealous of the beavertale.... buddy had a skotti grill straped underneath his bags. great stuff.
huge fan! take care!
Thanks for the feedback! Cheers
hey Robert, great explanation, but i have a question, have you tried to put the bakcountry 30l bag on top? its is compatible? i wonder beause i already got the backcountry bag and need more storage but i dont want to install the panniers on my tenere, im afraid its to big and heavy for the way i ride it.
You can see a test here :) But there is also the option to mount it 90 degrees. ua-cam.com/users/shortsJZNLRGTYcow?si=OE5NUjMEJaJzL15a
Hi great Vid. I got the reckless 80 and don’t find it that bulky. FYI the straps of the auxiliary inner dry bags join and make a loop that go around the transversal strap of the outer carrying pocket. In that manner it can never get dislodged by bumps and shocks.
Thanks!
Nice demonstration! If the straps don't quite line up, you could mount the sides with the center bolts only, strap the bags to the footpegs, then drill where the outer bolts are. I had to do this with my 390 since I couldn't quite get the angle right. Either way it looks clean!
Ah thanks for the tip
Enjoyed the video…. Gee they make Awsome gear , Mosko make great stuff wish they made bigger sizes in there adventure gear
Thanks
Really like the style of the Mosko bags, the price not so much. Happy New Year 🎉
Happy new year
Great video. Did that washer for the gnoblin come included with the Arnold minimal rack? Looks like the hole is larger than the Gnoblin
No the Arnold is not prepared for the Gnoblin. I had some washers lying around.
Hi @nomad sweden, great video!. Can i ask if reckless 40L is also suitable enough for long motorcycle trips, when focus is on light camping?
I pack the same for a weekend as for weeks. No real difference. 👍🏻But with this you need to go light. No camping chairs or hair dryers 😊
I’ve just installed the same reckless 40 on my T7 and love it…. Now I just need to order that larger stinger bag 😂
Haha yes there is always something missing :)
Looks great are there drainage holes in the larger pack back that you put the dry bags in?
I imagine these will fill with water
Yes big holes 👍🏻
They aren't so much bags as holsters that you fit your dry bags into. They have straps on the dry bags and holes in the holsters so you can pull them down into position.
Makes mounting even more easy and firm if you remove the long leg straps and use correct lenght Voile straps or similar silicon straps instead. I’ve found it very functional on R10 and R40 since spotted that tip somewhere from mosko social media couple years back
Ah thanks for the tip 👍🏻
Expensive piece of kit, but with it being so modular the R40 could be the one luggage option that can do it all. Liked the Gnoblin solution as well!
Rob - have you tried putting your tent and sleeping gear into the R40 legs yet? I had the R80 a few years ago and I recall the legs on that one was barely big enough to fit my sleeping bag (when it was compressed in its sack). Obviously depends on sleeping bag size.. I agree with you the R40 is probably enough for any kind of trip.
EDIT: Ahh, had to rewatch to find out - the big stinger on top is the answer, gotcha!
Hi Robert. Nice video again! 👍
I just fitted Adventure Spec side racks to my new World Raid, but I'm missing a rear anchor point for Enduristan soft panniers.
After watching your video I'm impressed with the Atalier rack, but would it have fitted together with the AS side racks when your standard exhaust was still there?
Maybe the AS racks are not needed when the Atalier is installed?
Hi! I would recommend the AS siderack when using the Enduristan bags to add some stability. I only used the AS racks and nothing else. I secured the rear straps just around the rear part of the bike. No special anchor point. The Arnold rack is not possible to mount with the AS rack since they use the same mounting points.
The AS rack is only providing stability/protection on the sides for hanging bags. The Arnold rack does not do this at all. And the Exhaust is not a problem which ever solution you go for. On a original exhaust you should use a heat shield.
When I had the AS racks is had nothing else and it worked fine for my use. Hope this helps
@@NomadSweden Thanks for answering Robert! Very appreciated.👍
Thank for the video. Do you maybe have some recommendation for a luggage setup that would go with a Tenere with pillion/rescue handles? From product pictures my initial thoughts was that the Enduristan Blizzard bags would allow threading the straps underneath the handles, but I don't know if that is the case in real life.
Hi. I do not have that setup to test right now. But I had handles earlier and I used Enduristan Monsoon 3 and Blizzard Large. It should work fine.
I would recommend a heatshield on the exhaust - just in case you tip over an the luggage harness will be pressed against the hot exhaust….
I belive that Murphy is always part of a travel team 😊
There is a heatshield delivered with the bags 👍🏻
Simply likeable. I like you ! greetings from Germany
Danke sehr
Hej, Rob! Happy New Year @ first! Looks like a great luggage solution. Quick q: I do recall you own the Backcountry 30L as well. Have you been able to test- mount this as well as alternative to the 20L? Does it fit/would be making sense?
Thanks. I didn't test fit the 30L duffle but I could see that it would work.
Hi 😊 - am I right in saying that the RAckless 40 doesnt have the cut-out in the skeleton of the bag that would allow you to access rear mounted petrol fillers (as on the Husqvarna 701 Enduro). Thank you.
Correct
Thanks for the video! Looks cool! one question: is there any way to lock the rackless / theft-protection when, say, staying in a hotel? Greetings from Germany and always safe ride!
There is no lock provided. I don’t see a way to lock them even with wires. Cheers
Thanks for the video and happy 2024. Aren’t you afraid that side bags will scratch the plastic when mounted directly to the bike? There are a few options for mini-racks to be mounted onto T7 which might address this risk. Or is there sufficient protection build in the bags?
I will use it without extra racks. The protection material is very good and it is so stable it does not move like other bags. I may add some protective plastic on the panels for extra care. Plus the plate that holds the bags i very stiff so it harldy touches the sides.
Really nice bags ! Do you think the R40 will fit with AS Sideracks ? Or will it be to wide // he R40 to narrow ? Happy new year from Germany !
Happy new year. Yes it would work with the AS sideracks. I am on narrow setting now, and the wide would work for sure.
I'd be curious to hear your experience purchasing the Atelier rear rack you put on there. I really like the look of it, but notice they do not have an online shop to purchase it through their website.
Will test it starting this weekend . You have to email them to buy 👍🏻
I like this color alot, shame I can't mount the reckless on my X-Adv. I won't be able to open my buddyseat which also has storage. Guess I'm stuck to panniers. Glad they also have them in this desert color!
Yes its a cool color indeed
You know what!! I liked the color of the mosko rackless! So .. what I think is!
That the bike would look awesome with this kind of color!! It would match nicelly well don't you think?
All yellow bike 😊 sure could be cool. But this specific T7 stays white 😊
Love the video thank you! Can you tell me what the weight is of the Atelier bracket please?
Not at the moment since it's mounted on the bike and I am elsewhere. But no more than 2kg is my guess. It's steel.
great luggage (probably best out there), looking at it for ages but it's expensive :D
Unrelated but I'm wondering do you have a quickshifter on your t7?
Nope no quickshifter.
Before you mentioned the protection in the side panels at the rear from the buckle - started to ponder on a sleek way to add protection from abrasion of the buckle.
Would be interested to know what solution you came up with.
Just the video I wanted to see as I want the Mosko Moto 40 ltr Reckless. It's been on the shipping list for the next adventure.
Loved the minimal rack you got from Italy to install the top locking bobbin without damaging the plastics!
Love your videos 😊
Thank you 🙏
I would love to see a video about the tools you take with you
Cool video thanks! Will you make a video about your camping gear?

Hello Robert I look for this rack to hook in the luggage. I can’t find it. Please let me know we’re you buy it. Thanks
Did you look at the links in the description? :)

No ,i’m not so a good online Typ
I didn’t find the link 🫣
Nice video and a great set up Robert!. It took me ages to find a rack that ( to me!) suited my T7, I went with the B+B off road from Australia. One thing I did when I mounted my set up, the Kriega os, was to put some clear protective film on the side panels to stop any scuffing. I shall probably get the Mosko Moto rear duffle...but would this be sacrilege to mix Kriega with Mosko...would they cross breed maybe....? 😂. Happy New year!! Cheers Steve 💚
Happy new year Steve
Again thanks for the great video! I See you removed the Adventure Spec side luggage rack. could have been a god base for the Reckless.
They were not compatible with the high exhaust
Good video Robert. Any concerns over wear of the rear plastics? I've considered Tech Spec snake skin on the rear fenders to protect from rub. Also, impressed you can get a full camp kit in there, I'd to see a packing vid.
With the rack it only touches the plastic where the footpeg straps are and I will pit some protection there. Will do a pack vid when I figure this setup out 👍🏻
Hello. Do you think it is possible to replace the 22l bag Mosko with the dry bag SW Motech 350 ?
Never tried, but I guess it could work.
Thank's !
The tops of the side bags do rise up above seat level. They aren't like panniers where you could sit any size duffle over the top, whatever you put there has to fit between the side bags. Note that the beaver tail can be rotated 90 degrees so you can have your duffle running fore and aft. That's what I do when I use my Kriega US-20 as a tail bag with this system.
Note also that the little 8 litre tail bag has straps to tie down independent of the beaver tail, so my maxi setup is the US-20 in the beaver tail, then the Stinger 8 strapped to the top of the US-20. Kriega's of course have lots of mounting points, so this works well. That gets me to the campground, then for day rides the whole Reckless system comes off and the Stinger 8 goes directly onto the tail rack and becomes a tools and snacks bag.
@@jaimemetcher388 great input 👍🏻
It is clear, clean and precise ! Thank's a lot !!!
Did you have a hard time ordering the rack, or did you just have to email them to place an order?
I emailed them and it worked well
Thx for this great review. 👍I will buy for my new BMW R1300 GS the same 40 ltr. setup. It would be great, if you could show the installation at this bike as well. Especially to cover the luggage next to the exhuast system. Thx from Germany.
Thanks. Sadly I don't have different bikes to try on.
Very good. Can second person sit with these suitcases??
Yes if you have a luggage rack to move everything back a little

Hi Nomad Sweden can you drive two people on the motorcycle with this system? Thank you
Yes, you can have the rear footpegs installed
Like the rack, may consider. I have the factory rack with the rear seat removed with cover over frame. However the rails stick way out and run along side seat. Too much. The Italian wins on looks. Simple installation as well. You did it. The color of bags good, won't show dirt/mud so bad. The size, if you don't take it it won't weight you down. Light is right. The beaver tail bag, hmm, beaver and tail, anyway I like the size. I could do same with all my camping gear. Now, what about your camera gear, where do you store it when not in use, i.e. bad wet weather? How is the Suzuki project coming? Done with it? Good vid. Hey, Happy New Year. Nomad Mountain Man, from the hills of east Kentucky USA. Twist the grip. RTW
Hi Kentucky and thanks. Camera gear is actually very minimal, (iphone, gopro and drone) but the bulk is all the chargers etc. I will have to test new packing. The Suzuki is ready to ride but I have now started some new modifications to keep me busy. Happy new year.
The Gnoblin is a genius invention.
Indeed 😊
I have an Yamaha rear rack, does anyone know can gnoblin be mounted on it?
Should work. All you need is a hole for a screw
Is there a website for Atalier? Can’t seem to find it🤷♂️
Did you check the links in the description?
@@NomadSweden I was perusing too quickly and missed it. I see it now. Was hoping they made one for the new BMW f900 GS. Thanks. Enjoyed the review👍🏼

Off the topic,it was some time now since you had suspenssion revalve. Can you please give some thougts about it,I really considering doing the same on my T7! ty
They changed springs, oil and valves to my weight and riding style. The big difference is how stable and controllable the bike feels. So it's not improved comfort, it's improved control.
@@NomadSweden Thank you for answering. Greetings from Croatia! 😊👍
My main complaint on my Reckless 40 is the diameter of the main side bags. The bottom is barely big enough for my fist. This greatly limits what you can fit in them. The clear windows are an interesting idea, but that makes them less rugged. And I wonder if they will yellow and weaken, just like convertible car top windows.
Good points. I will find out 👍🏻
Very nice set.
Personal opinion I don't like if pack bags stick wider like handlebars on my motorcycle.
I have made my own foldable packet holders (function as fall protection) with bags 2x30 l 100% waterproof.
Cost c. 50€
Cool 😎
Very Nice informative video, I also want to get mosko moto but there is no much information out there on how they fit, how you can set them up. And the main problem is that since they sell only online there is no way to check them out in a store. Mosko Moto need to make more explanatory videos like this one. Thanks again.
Thanks :)
Mosko Moto have a load of UA-cam tutorials on how to set them up. Especially the 80s as they're a bit more complicated. The 40s are as simple as, and I easily swap them between 3 bikes with no issues. They just work.

This system looks awesome, and your choice looks large enough. The Italien rack is a piece of art. But are you sure about the colour of the Mosko Moto? There's no accounting for tastes ;-) Happy days on the T7, Günter/Nürnberg
Yeah i like the color actually. Stands out a little. But it’s a taste divider for sure
