Not a surprise I guess but pleasant as usual. Short and spot on installation demo. Very well done. Not a surprise that either but again, pleasant. Keep up the good work!

Hi Robert, Nice durable luggage, Mosko Moto is perfect 👍 💪 This rack is beautiful designed, just Italian passion ❤️👌🏻 Happy new year, best wishes and many projects/vids in 2024 Best regards from Zuid Limburg / The Netherlands
I would recommend a heatshield on the exhaust - just in case you tip over an the luggage harness will be pressed against the hot exhaust…. I belive that Murphy is always part of a travel team 😊
Rob - have you tried putting your tent and sleeping gear into the R40 legs yet? I had the R80 a few years ago and I recall the legs on that one was barely big enough to fit my sleeping bag (when it was compressed in its sack). Obviously depends on sleeping bag size.. I agree with you the R40 is probably enough for any kind of trip. EDIT: Ahh, had to rewatch to find out - the big stinger on top is the answer, gotcha!
my buddy has the r40 and i have the kriega os 18 on the sides, both systems are great, but his feels more sturdy as mine is lighter. i love that he has multiple different pockets, kriega is just a big hole to throw stuff in..., but can fit bigger items...give and take. but I am super Jealous of the beavertale.... buddy had a skotti grill straped underneath his bags. great stuff. huge fan! take care!
Makes mounting even more easy and firm if you remove the long leg straps and use correct lenght Voile straps or similar silicon straps instead. I’ve found it very functional on R10 and R40 since spotted that tip somewhere from mosko social media couple years back
Nice demonstration! If the straps don't quite line up, you could mount the sides with the center bolts only, strap the bags to the footpegs, then drill where the outer bolts are. I had to do this with my 390 since I couldn't quite get the angle right. Either way it looks clean!
Hi great Vid. I got the reckless 80 and don’t find it that bulky. FYI the straps of the auxiliary inner dry bags join and make a loop that go around the transversal strap of the outer carrying pocket. In that manner it can never get dislodged by bumps and shocks.
Hey hey, I used and still using my Reckless 40 (V3) since a couple of years - still works as a charm. However I was missing just a litle bit of space in the Reckless 40 for my chair and table...I like my comfort :) So, I acquired the Reckless 80 (V4) recently and what a luxery of having some spare liters of space...just in case... Ride Safely 👍
You know what!! I liked the color of the mosko rackless! So .. what I think is! That the bike would look awesome with this kind of color!! It would match nicelly well don't you think?
I like this color alot, shame I can't mount the reckless on my X-Adv. I won't be able to open my buddyseat which also has storage. Guess I'm stuck to panniers. Glad they also have them in this desert color!
They aren't so much bags as holsters that you fit your dry bags into. They have straps on the dry bags and holes in the holsters so you can pull them down into position.
Great and very informative video! Your video in Turkey was really inspiring! How are you planning to protect the T7 plastics from the Mosko side bags rubbing against them? I thought to use a protective film, but nor sure Thanks a lot! Ride safe!
Before you mentioned the protection in the side panels at the rear from the buckle - started to ponder on a sleek way to add protection from abrasion of the buckle. Would be interested to know what solution you came up with. Just the video I wanted to see as I want the Mosko Moto 40 ltr Reckless. It's been on the shipping list for the next adventure. Like the rack, may consider. I have the factory rack with the rear seat removed with cover over frame. However the rails stick way out and run along side seat. Too much. The Italian wins on looks. Simple installation as well. You did it. The color of bags good, won't show dirt/mud so bad. The size, if you don't take it it won't weight you down. Light is right. The beaver tail bag, hmm, beaver and tail, anyway I like the size. I could do same with all my camping gear. Now, what about your camera gear, where do you store it when not in use, i.e. bad wet weather? How is the Suzuki project coming? Done with it? Good vid. Hey, Happy New Year. Nomad Mountain Man, from the hills of east Kentucky USA. Twist the grip. RTW
Hi Kentucky and thanks. Camera gear is actually very minimal, (iphone, gopro and drone) but the bulk is all the chargers etc. I will have to test new packing. The Suzuki is ready to ride but I have now started some new modifications to keep me busy. Happy new year.
Hej, Rob! Happy New Year @ first! Looks like a great luggage solution. Quick q: I do recall you own the Backcountry 30L as well. Have you been able to test- mount this as well as alternative to the 20L? Does it fit/would be making sense?
Good video Robert. Any concerns over wear of the rear plastics? I've considered Tech Spec snake skin on the rear fenders to protect from rub. Also, impressed you can get a full camp kit in there, I'd to see a packing vid.
With the rack it only touches the plastic where the footpeg straps are and I will pit some protection there. Will do a pack vid when I figure this setup out 👍🏻
Thanks for the video and happy 2024. Aren’t you afraid that side bags will scratch the plastic when mounted directly to the bike? There are a few options for mini-racks to be mounted onto T7 which might address this risk. Or is there sufficient protection build in the bags?
I will use it without extra racks. The protection material is very good and it is so stable it does not move like other bags. I may add some protective plastic on the panels for extra care. Plus the plate that holds the bags i very stiff so it harldy touches the sides.
Hi Robert. Nice video again! 👍 I just fitted Adventure Spec side racks to my new World Raid, but I'm missing a rear anchor point for Enduristan soft panniers. After watching your video I'm impressed with the Atalier rack, but would it have fitted together with the AS side racks when your standard exhaust was still there? Maybe the AS racks are not needed when the Atalier is installed?
Hi! I would recommend the AS siderack when using the Enduristan bags to add some stability. I only used the AS racks and nothing else. I secured the rear straps just around the rear part of the bike. No special anchor point. The Arnold rack is not possible to mount with the AS rack since they use the same mounting points. The AS rack is only providing stability/protection on the sides for hanging bags. The Arnold rack does not do this at all. And the Exhaust is not a problem which ever solution you go for. On a original exhaust you should use a heat shield. When I had the AS racks is had nothing else and it worked fine for my use. Hope this helps
Very Nice informative video, I also want to get mosko moto but there is no much information out there on how they fit, how you can set them up. And the main problem is that since they sell only online there is no way to check them out in a store. Mosko Moto need to make more explanatory videos like this one. Thanks again.
Mosko Moto have a load of UA-cam tutorials on how to set them up. Especially the 80s as they're a bit more complicated. The 40s are as simple as, and I easily swap them between 3 bikes with no issues. They just work.
Cool set up but I would consider putting your tool kit and other heavy bits in the other side of your system due to weight! As consider the weight of your exhaust on the right side ( Balance) 👍
Thanks for the video! Looks cool! one question: is there any way to lock the rackless / theft-protection when, say, staying in a hotel? Greetings from Germany and always safe ride!
Nice video and a great set up Robert!. It took me ages to find a rack that ( to me!) suited my T7, I went with the B+B off road from Australia. One thing I did when I mounted my set up, the Kriega os, was to put some clear protective film on the side panels to stop any scuffing. I shall probably get the Mosko Moto rear duffle...but would this be sacrilege to mix Kriega with Mosko...would they cross breed maybe....? 😂. Happy New year!! Cheers Steve 💚

great luggage (probably best out there), looking at it for ages but it's expensive :D Unrelated but I'm wondering do you have a quickshifter on your t7?
hey Robert, great explanation, but i have a question, have you tried to put the bakcountry 30l bag on top? its is compatible? i wonder beause i already got the backcountry bag and need more storage but i dont want to install the panniers on my tenere, im afraid its to big and heavy for the way i ride it.
I'd be curious to hear your experience purchasing the Atelier rear rack you put on there. I really like the look of it, but notice they do not have an online shop to purchase it through their website.
Thank for the video. Do you maybe have some recommendation for a luggage setup that would go with a Tenere with pillion/rescue handles? From product pictures my initial thoughts was that the Enduristan Blizzard bags would allow threading the straps underneath the handles, but I don't know if that is the case in real life.
Hi 😊 - am I right in saying that the RAckless 40 doesnt have the cut-out in the skeleton of the bag that would allow you to access rear mounted petrol fillers (as on the Husqvarna 701 Enduro). Thank you.
Could you please show it with the backcountry duffle 35? I already have the duffle and would like to use it, instead of the stinger 22 if needed. Keep up the good work 👍🏼
This system looks awesome, and your choice looks large enough. The Italien rack is a piece of art. But are you sure about the colour of the Mosko Moto? There's no accounting for tastes ;-) Happy days on the T7, Günter/Nürnberg
@@NomadSweden It does stand out, Robert. If you like the colour, perfect! (I have sandy-brown Halvarsson textiles for winter riding and scooter all year round many people don't like at all)
My main complaint on my Reckless 40 is the diameter of the main side bags. The bottom is barely big enough for my fist. This greatly limits what you can fit in them. The clear windows are an interesting idea, but that makes them less rugged. And I wonder if they will yellow and weaken, just like convertible car top windows.

Good points. I will find out 👍🏻
