      @@4WDAdventureCrewWOW that's amazing! Thanks! He was chugging rite along with you. I was wondering if you mite know of any videos with full size pickups? I've got 2. 1 is a 94 Dodge RAM 2500 single cab. Limited slip rear front full time locked. Factory height but sets up tall. Regular tires rite now factory 16 inch wheels. 5.2 318 motor 5 speed manual transmission. 95 % restored looks like a new one 137,000 actual miles. My other one is my old whatever truck. Kinda rough on outside but drive train is great. 88 GMC K2500. Factory height 350 Chevy motor came out of 92 Tahoe and strong. 4 speed Chevy Bulldog transmission. Limited slip rear and full lock on front. Ext cab. I love driving old truck and drives better than a new one but I believe the Dodge would do better off road cause of height and length and it literally takes 40 acres to turn it around but it will go. I have mud cleeted tires on it. I just like to get some pointers on my Dodge to fix for going out on trails, NO rock climbing, to get away and do some camping. I'm in TN and we sure don't get no snow like yall get so it would be mainly 4x4 trails no snow. I'm sorry it's so long but dont anybody here to help. Lots of farmers but not trail riders that I know with trucks. Thanks for your videos and your great attitude and your compassion to help others! Thanks!

    I think with the tire de-beading it could be a combination of things. Wheels being too narrow for tires so the tire walls fold the bead and don’t sit flush on the wheels and the wheels might now have a big lip to hold the bead especially if they’re stock. Method makes a nice “bead-grip” alternative to beadlocks which are nice and lighter.

    • @4WDAdventureCrew
      @4WDAdventureCrew  2 роки тому

      It was low psi and very smooth finish on stock rims, now I build my self beadlocks and problem is solved

    When you're up in the deep snow like that and you're going to be pushing deep snow up on your radiator sometimes if you stick a piece of cardboard right in front of your radiator it won't clog up as much and it'll run a little little better the snow doesn't clog it up as much if you can leave a little space

      Hey off topic... I built a stout 98xj this last year but I took it out again in this snow storm and once I engaged the 4wheel drive ( NP231 with SYE ) and when I start going I hear a whining transmission pump like sound at speed but not when stopped or in 2wheel drive at any speed... and it also does it in 4wheel low... any thoughts or experiences like that before?
      I only ask because if i don't know exactly what to look at or where to start I am going to yank the T-case and maybe have to just rebuild it by myself, which I can do but would rather not do an all out rebuild you know. I appreciate any knowledge I can soak up!!
