Absolutely incredible footage. Coming from New Zealand 🇳🇿 we never ever see this kind of snow. Fantastic response from the authorities to keep the roads open, the streets clear and the work going on through the night. Amazing.
Thank you! They require chains but a lot of this was shot on I-80 after they closed it down. They do a really fantastic job keeping it open because it is such an important corridor but usually when snow rates get over 3"/hr and winds start blowing they can not keep up. So pretty, but I'm glad that I don't have to survive winter storms like that.

Amazing captures of this historic climatic change event! Kudos! I was hoping to see a bit more on the mudslide capture netting system that California municipalities have invested and installed that I read via the AP press. Horrendous weather changes affecting California. Thank you for your compilation!

You don't drive when the weather is like that because you looking for trouble
Good job buddy. 👍
I wonder if any of the boulders from the first rock slide shown damaged the blacktop it covered?
Probably, several boulders were bigger than the dump truck in the background of the shot.
Park it up, keep the wife warm.
