Oh no, you didn't get the level 3 pavilion because you had an ongoing construction in your camp! Maybe you should compensate yourself for that because it did screw you out of your money. It would have worked if there wasn't an ongoing construction at the time.
I like how Artos turned out: cool-headed, generally capable and duty-focused, _very_ proud of his heritage, and willing to go against he odds to reclaim his birthright-not bad traits for a leader to have. There is definitely some wolf-blood in there, but it has been tempered by necessity and privation.
I think that the wildling Kingdom should collapse with Rayum dead. Mance says that the wildlings follow strength not inheritance. So maybe Gorne’s uncle tries to seize the throne or it collapses and in the chaos Artos is forced to go to Thenns, Skagos, or to castle black where he could find former black brothers to bolster his ranks.
i think going to skagos would be a fun adventure for the young lord... find out whether the cannibal rumours are true and gain more potential allies in the north. I also agree with other wanderers suggesting visiting the thenns, afterall they are the most advanced of the freefolk tribes and would help the young lord learn to rule, administer and fight
You maybe give the wildlings the promise they would be allowed to live in the north and maybe after conquest create some wildling north houses like the one in the Game of thrones with the Karstark thenn
This is probably one of the most interesting series you ever done in ck3agot and i have to say i like that the mormont are the one who save you and a your side is always the mormont that help the heir to an realm
I think given his whole party is portraying him as the one true ruler of the north and to hide his identity, arrogant over honest might be a possible outcome. Also, if possible from east watch by the bay to go to Essos or the south as a Varangian leader like Harald Hardrada before coming back to claim his seat.
Perhaps Osha can be a linking part between Artos and Gorne? Since Artos is staying camp in the wildling 'Capital', where Gorne is (since he is still a child himself I doubt he moves around these winter lands a lot), perhaps she can make acquaintance of them both. I wonder though, why does she still travel with Artos. She is in the heart of her people's Kingdom now, surely there would be at least someone from the Free Folk who can take care of her. Perhaps she also has her reasons to stay close to him? Perhaps she is also hiding from someone - or even hiding her true identity as well? Or maybe she hopes to one day live to the south of the wall... Love your videos btw! But I hate to be early to your series. I just want to watch them all in one-go. Waiting for the new one, ty
Great start, and calm is a good trait as it allows Artos to mediate eventually. I recommend you build Forward Scouts in the camp perimeter as it essential nullifies most risks when you travel. You might need to hrad to Pentos when you're of age to get some more allies
you can get the branch in the int tree to get giants, well basically whereever you stay, you can recruit their men at arms. Giants, Winged Horseman, Summer, aint bad for roleplay too if you're thinking of living amongst them, why couldn't you recruit them
I think whenever feasible (not low on provisions or gold) you should request men at arms regiments. As Artos is still young all of his mentors and knights are older. They may end up dying of old age before they can see their plan of Artos taking the north (or start to) come to fruition. Once Artos has a big enough army he should declare war. For now though I think Skagos or the Thenn would be a good spot to travel to. Making friends with Redbeards son and making an ally out of him would be cool too.
On the matter of what to do next, I like going to Hardhome for a bit and then Skagos, or maybe just pass through Hardhome on the way to Skagos. I hope we end up at Runestone soon, so maybe Skagos is another pitstop.
I think spending more time in the north, maybe even going up to see the Thenns would be a good move for the young wolf. The far north will harden you into a warrior ready to take back your lands. But, a warrior alone wont win this war against the Boltons. Surely your loyal followers are eager to find passage on a ship to take you to the Vale and find allies among the nobles there. I like the idea of befriending the new king beyond the wall, and would be interested to see that pursued. I dont think you should go to Skagos. If you get on board a ship it should be to sail south and start building alliances in westeros
Taking arrogant wasnt the best decision considering Artos should be focusing gaining allies if he wants to beat the Boltons and high diplomacy would help with that. Also if you would have taken honest then Artos and Gorne definetly should become friends cause they would be so close personality wise. Artos being a arrogant child using the stark name to get lodgings in wildling lands probably will end in Artos getting humbled by some wildling.
I think it could play into the road to taking what is his by right. He won't give up the idea that a Stark should be in Winterfell for anything, and his bravery and diligence will drive him towards that goal. Also, being the last remaining member of his house definitely should have an impact that we could say is displayed in his "arrogance".
@@OddBall1138 Yeah that definetly makes sense. Artos is still a child so maybe he grows out of his arrogance and learns some humility and turns arrogant into humble, just or honest and starts acting more like a Stark and honor his family by taking his homelands back.
Artos making friends with the wildlings would be a cool story, but it sounds like a bad strategic decision. The northmen hate the wildlings, especially now that they have overrun the Wall. So what would the lords of the North think if Artos marched on Winterfell with a host of wildling raiders?
Going to Skagos would be interesting. Setting up potential allies within the North, whether it be wildling or cannibal northmen, I think could be useful when Artos grows older. Maybe they'll lend some skagosi warriors riding unicorns lol
I know this is going to sound strange but you could settle in the ruins above Skagos by Rp for while the Boltons might think that Artos is in the lands beyond the walls who would think you settled in these destroyed and forgotten ruins beyond said you I wouldn't be subordinate to any lord because these ruins don't belong to anyone and you only need money to get this territory.
I personally have used my patrons in AGOT to get men at arms a few times, but I only received regiments from vanilla CK3. I don't think that getting giants or any AGOT regiment is possible with that option.
befriend the king beyond the wall, after all the starks have wildling blood in them, maybe promise wildlings lands of traitor.lords who support the boltons (marry them to daughters of those houses as well)
Should hit Skagos then start making your way south start building relationships with the River Lord's, Vale, and even The Lannesters. Should also look for a spouse soon as well.
I’ve watched hundreds of hours of this newer mod the landless and each time someone selects hire men at arms it’s 100% always armored footman not sure why.
I believe the reason you can't get the giants is bc you are not a wildline, each special men at arms is based on your culture. If you want to have your own special men at arms, you have to either go back home and make contracts with your northerners or buy them yourself. As you are growing up, you need to find a skilled knight to make you his squire so that you can gain more prowess. And when you are old enough to marry, you wife must either be highly skilled to aid you, give you strong alliance or has an inheritable traits pass to your children.
Requesting MAA via patron allows you to obtain MAA that you normally wouldn’t be able to get, including giants. He just got unlucky with RNG, 1/3 chance he would’ve gotten giants on both occasions

Exactly
Sounds like he should give him self the money back 😂

Remember to get the specific legitimist upgrades for the specific events!Lone Wolf!

"I want Giants" You made GRRM happy Stray

You can only get giants from the thenns so maybe move camp further north

Already enjoying this series, but I hope we'll get to see more of the adventures of the Black Company at some point in the future.
On the matter of what to do next, I like going to Hardhome for a bit and then Skagos, or maybe just pass through Hardhome on the way to Skagos. I hope we end up at Runestone soon, so maybe Skagos is another pitstop.
I have watched multiple lets plays with this mod and every single time it's always been Armored footman.

We also could interpret it as not necessarily arrogance, but pride in what he survived and who he is, but thats just my headcanon

I think in the last episode you said you would fix the prestige cause it started in the negatives

This series is the first one im watching on youre channel and I like it a lot! Just wanted to say that keep it up! 👏
Cheers! Definitely check out the Velaryon series as well, that was one of our best AGOT series.
I would say you should also watch Dayne series.
There should be a learning perk that’ll let you recruit units from other cultures directly
Going to Skagos would be interesting. Setting up potential allies within the North, whether it be wildling or cannibal northmen, I think could be useful when Artos grows older. Maybe they'll lend some skagosi warriors riding unicorns lol
LETS GOO EPISODE 2!!🐺🐺
I know this is going to sound strange but you could settle in the ruins above Skagos by Rp for while the Boltons might think that Artos is in the lands beyond the walls who would think you settled in these destroyed and forgotten ruins beyond said you I wouldn't be subordinate to any lord because these ruins don't belong to anyone and you only need money to get this territory.

What I always say when times are tough head west

Skagos would be awesome!!! Go tame a unicorn lol
I noticed the new king beyond the wall has a young sister about artos' age, a potential marriage alliance perhaps? 👀
That’s a brother 😂
What happens if you send yourself as a Ward to the King beyond the wall?
Shot in the dark but any chance the wolves end up in essos?
I’ve watched hundreds of hours of this newer mod the landless and each time someone selects hire men at arms it’s 100% always armored footman not sure why.
Nice
I am here

Idk if the agot mod changes it but I've gotten skoutatoi as a norse adventurer before so its possible certainly

Cool conqueror character who is actually from the lore is slain by a 48 year old woman in a duel 🤦♂️ Sometimes this game frustrates me
