This kept me awake all night, such an enormously detailed documentary. I learnt more about WW2 in 3 hours than I did at school for 5 years. We were taught such a distorted version of it focused only on the suffering of just one nation, but in reality, so many more around the globe suffered and gave their lives to change the course of our world today.
Well, tell us which nation you refer to. Or people. Come on, enlighten us all with your superior knowledge. As for the rest of us who are educated, we were taught the truthful version of history, because it was based upon historical accounts, which were based on witnesses who survived and the Nazzies themselves. You obviously are trying to distort yourself.
This is a 5-star documentary. Very well-done, and actual footage lined up with the dialog, not stock footage from other times. One of the best of its kind. 💙💙💙💙
I'm relieved to know I’m not the only one! I’ve picked up this odd habit of falling asleep while listening to war videos on UA-cam. I don’t really watch them-I just listen. I find it entertaining, and it keeps me from feeling bored or frustrated as I drift off to sleep. Honestly, I love it❤❤❤

Fantastic series its a whole box-set (26 episodes in all!) and it's also available on amazon prime! ❤ I recognised the music and presenter straight away lol albeit I believe this is the remastered version in color 😂😂 you probably can tell ive binged on this more than I like to count

Of course it took some time to catch on and it wasn't until the 1970s that it began to stick. As a school kid in Spelling, Geography and History, either way was acceptable.
I went to school in Mexico and when we learned the European countries names and capitals in geography class, we were taught to spell it the old way. Rumania and it's capital city Bucharest.

Usually people fall asleep to relaxing readings of fiction, ASMR and nature recordings, but I wouldn't call a documentary about the deadliest war in history where thousands of people were the targets of genocide "relaxing" in any shape or form.
