A Royce marriage would absolutely make sense with a Stark. They are a first men house that the Starks have maintained relations with consistently throughout the lore.

I think that marrying the daughter of some riverlord would be the best idea. If Donnor pushes his claim, he can grant the kingdom title to the daughter of the riverlord that his father married so that he doesn't have to pay attention down south, but still have the riverlords as his bannermen. Personally, I think a blackwood would be the best idea, since they worship the old gods.

Having Artos finding the Wight woman if possible and having Artos marry her due to the affect she has had on him would be a cool direction to go, he clearly has a weakness for women like that. I imagine hed be obsessed now and sending people out to get her to come back. And on Karlon I think making him as evil and much of a bad guy as possible is the most interesting path

Also, perhaps Artos' "witch" secret simply means he (and others with the trait) has some knowledge of the Long Night, maybe from his conversations with Dragma. This time period is roughly when the white walkers present in GOT would have begun their resurgence, too, so it would make sense lore-wise. This would also explain the necessity of regaining the North and most importantly the Wall from the disorganised wildling realms. Maybe in this timeline, Artos Stark begins preparations for the Long Night decades before Mance Rayder or Jon Snow in the main one. This could add a bit of context behind your desire to reform the Old Gods religion, which would be a much more interesting outcome than converting to Weirwood of the Seven.

The wight event happened for a reason! If you can still access her, marry her! House Stark is entering a new kind of danger, it seems... It's a good thing Donner, so far, seems to be cut from the cloth of the Starks of the past....

I honestly think Karlon is a pretty underrated as a potential character! The son of Artos Stark and a wildling woman, born in a witch-like/occult ritual. Could be an awesome story there Edit: I think it would also be cool if Artos delved into the more dark and occult aspects of the old gods

If down the line you do take the Riverlands it could be good to give it to Artos' daughter Marianne who inherited the Tully red hair and have her refound house Tully. Would be a way to honor the memory of Kelis as well as the loyalty and losses house Tully gave towards regaining the North for Artos and the Starks. As the Tullys helped restore House Stark so the the Starks can restore House Tully.

It might be true that Artos does not care that the Riverlands are under Lanister control (although with his wife's death now he might have a reason to make justice to his wife's house), but I'm hoping Donnor tries to push his right as heir to the North and Riverlands and, probably restore house Tully with some of his children. Maybe even call some friend houses like Blackwood.

Once you have ravelands you have give it to your one of your child so they can creat a candit branch of the Stark and Tully

I could see Artos marrying another river lands house to try to secure power there, or to marry Dragma and cause a little power struggle between his children. At this point he simply does what he wants to.

Normally i would suggest the alliance given that artos took his kingdom back and is most likely to do whatever it takes to keep it strong butttttt the wight event is too big to ignore. It would make semse for artos lore wise as well,not book lore but the lore of the series here. Artos is a witch who follows the cold gods(he may not think of it as cold gods but more of a ancient part of old gods) and wights are made by the cold gods right so its all coming full circle. Other than that there is one more thing- the riverlands you cannot CANNOT have a lannister take over, its not a question of power but because you share a border with them, push your younger son's claim on it so its not part of your kingdom. Artos has fought for the north he has lived in tents on beds of grass in the cold winters beyond the wall, his entire childhood was taken from him. He will do anything to ensure that north safe and united, i can see him battling blackfyres just so they lose land and become weak and not be a threat to north. For artos north comes first everything else is secondary. Love is secondary, glory is secondary, strappings of power is secondary even family is secondary. He has seen his friends die and suffer(remember garth manderly became incapable) and it still didn't stop him because north came first.

I disagree with your take on possible marriages. Artos already has links to houses Royce and Tully and used the help of house Arryn to regain the North, so another one or two southron matches seem fitting to bolster his ambitions in the Riverlands. Especially house Tyrell is a sensible match to me given that both their northern neighbours are held by Lannisters. So a Stark/Tyrell alliance to gain the Riverlands for house Stark and southern Westerlands for house Tyrell only seems fitting. Alternatively Artos himself could marry within his realm to show his commitment to the North or for thematic reasons and look for matches for his children in the south. One unrealted thing: It's quite weird to me to see formal Blackfyre vassals all over the place. I think it would be more realistic for there to be alliances between the Blackfyres and other houses set up via console instead of direct rule. I don't think their respective liege lords would tolerate a vassal openly betraying them for long. I think there's a mod that adds a dynasty modifier to houses loyal to the Blackfyres. Copying that modifier somehow might be another way to get around the game's limitations.

I don’t think the bastard really deserves that high lordship. He hasn’t done anything that shows he deserves it; if anything it could cause more questions with the other lords as to why Artos gave the high lordship to the boy to begin with. The mixed culture thing is a good idea for the mt. clans so it would’ve been cool to see u hold the high lordship for a generation or 2 and then give it out to see who they “elect” to represent that new culture…just a missed opportunity in my opinion. In the riverlands, marrying one of your daughters to a strong and respectful riverlands house to push the claim of the lord paramount is the play.Also interested to see how reinstating the nights watch is going to go too, and honestly after seeing the wall fall, maybe the lords of the north send more people/children to guard the wall from further invasion.

Marrying Benessa Mormont would just be giving that house too much influence. They already control the Drea- Bearfort, you gave them more lands, Graham Mormont is Artos' friend and has a seat on the council. This would be the straw that breaks the camel's back. Artos should marry the 19 year old wight. It's in his blood, if you believe the theories about the Night's King.

How the wildlings has fallen and also i feel like with lion ruling over the riverlands is clear that the wolf have to do something marrying one of artos children to a powerfull house in the riverlands like the blackwood is needed and also i have to say when the reveal of the lion ruling over the riverlands happen last episode i was thinking rains of castermere in my head when that happen

I read some comments and from past series, I think putting a Stark-Tully branch in the Riverlands, the bastard son a Stark-Thenn branch beyond the wall and maybe taking the Iron islands as a port or even an Iron island-Stark branch would be cool while taking some land as compensation. A cool idea would be an empire of the north with the main Starks ruling over these Stark branch houses

Merry Christmas! Prince Donnor seems more withdrawn and scholarly in comparison to his family, a trait which Artos might resent and think as weakness. He'd see his quietness and pensiveness as him being spoilt. And the Riverlands being ruled by Lannisters is a new development. While the Lannister who rules Riverrun is not a bad man but he is weak from his contributions to this war and maybe he does not deserve ruling the Riverlands if he does not have the means to protect it, and maybe your wife sees you as the only man worthy of holding her fathers lands and kingdom.
