“Started out in the 90s almost out of high school.”
_HOLY SHIT HOW OLD AM I..._
Sambou Jaiteh He's always looked older than he is.
There is a good Jon Ronson doc on Bohemian Grove featuring a young Jones.
He didn't get his male vitality pills quick enough.
Yeah, I was shocked to find out that he's only 44 years old. He looks ten years older to me. I was hoping he was in his 70s, though, so that I would know the end was coming soon.
Sambou Jaiteh Eh, some people age well, others don’t. My dad is 62 and I swear he stopped aging around 45. He still has most of the color in his hair. Jones didn’t get the “fine wine” gene, but he could certainly be worse off.
Battling the globalist agenda ages the fuck out of you...
must be those estrogen mimickers
as someone who's lived in Austin, Texas, for almost 30 years and watched Alex Jones rise from cable-access-nothing (and even met him once) I really appreciate you going ALL THE WAY back to his roots. The truth is that after Waco there were many people spouting the same garbage, he's just the one that turned it into a working brand
Do you realy believe that horse sht you just commented?
google Atrazine & know just how much stupid you are to jones
Is it true he is really Bill Hicks playing a role?
"And know how much stupid you are to jones"
Samuel Jones or Alex Jones?
I have a hunch most people don't care what either thinks.
Yeah, even the well known local Austin director Richard Linklater put him in two of his movies (Waking Life and Scanner Darkly). There was an article in vice about his relationship with Alex. Richard said "He was more fun when it was the Bush era, put it like that. [Laughs] When he was anti-that, I was like, "Yeah!" and then I was like, "Oh, you're just anti-everybody."
If you're gonna make jokes, proof read them to see if they're funny.
"The answer to 1984 is 1776" is such a good line though. He's a showman for sure, I'll give him that at least.
Pretty good, gotta admit
Yeah only that the behavior of the British Empire towards the colonists at that time can hardly be described as tyrannical.
@@MrCmon113 it was pretty tyrannical.
Even half that stuff happening today - randomly levying taxes on certain goods used as a tool of punishment. Suspending the rule of local courts and instituting military law in any situation less than a major national disaster. Forcibly quartering soldiers in people's homes as a means of intimidation and much more - would have most people today up in arms, either figuratively or literally.
It might not have been Soviet Union level genocidal totalitarianism, but it was absolutely unrighteous.
He probably stole it though
@@abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz4839 So, are you Mel Gibson or were you only educated by the movie The Patriot? Cause buddy, there's a lot more to US History and the Revolution than this cartoonish villainy you've described.
While you've hit some bullet points, your characterization of them is lacking. For instance, the "British Redcoats" weren't a "Foreign Military" since the Colonies were British. It's literally the army that would be assigned to them and the same used to fight all those conflicts before the American Revolution. The same conflicts that caused the need for increased Taxes. As for the Quartering Act, this hit more a chord about politeness than anything else. Parliament declared that barracks should be made for the troops they had stationed in the Colonies to fight for the Colonies. If no Barracks were available, then they'd make use of the public houses and inns. If those weren't available, THEN it'd be a matter of actually having them in your house.
The New York Colonial Assembly was more annoyed that they weren't really asked, even though their Royal Governor (Appointed by the Crown) who represented them in Parliament signed off on the Quartering Act. This lead to the Assembly restricting the Governor's power, and we snowball from there. The important thing here, though, is that by all British accounts, the colonies were represented just fine, same as any other area.
So we have both Representation, Taxes, and Quartering taking a whole different look than "Foreign Military Occupation and Tyrannical Rule". While I still think independence was a proper move at the time, let's not be shouting about "Freedom" thinking the Founding Fathers were infallible, altruistic Patriots.
Best summary of Alex Jones I've heard:
Metaphorical snake oil salesman who turned into a literal snake oil salesman.
Your pfp looks like me after 2 cups of coffee.
9/11, not enough lava lamps
The lava lamp absence was an inside job.
9 out of 11 viewers found Lady Ann Majora's comment offensive.
Lava can't melt steel lamps!
They should build two giant lava lamps where the twin towers were: The whole world, just, you know, flows, duuude... Up and down, and up again, and down again, it's all the same. The NWO controls it all!
Granted I think most conspiracies are comical, but I believe Bush let 9/11 happen (as it was proved he was given a report that the attack would happen and his only defense was to claim ignorance, and a lot more damning evidence) but even I think AJ is one of the worst humans alive. That's part of the problem too, he steals and ruins the credibility of real arguments and entire issues, and does it intentionally too... and in the dumbest ways possible.

My friend was sitting next to me and she asked “did he just say ‘build a bear?’”
That Ted talk sucked
Alex Jones totally failed in his Sandy Hook hoax story, when a journalist asked him to meet with the fathers of the slain children, Jones replied, "Their mourning is still too raw, and I wouldn't have sufficient protection from attack", to which the journalist replied, "If the whole thing is a hoax, like you claim, why would they be in mourning"?. Jones realized the hole he'd dug himself into, jumped up and screamed, "This interview is over", and stormed off.
@jhon doe yep
How many injured children where taken to ER that day ? Why was neighbouring state SWAT office arrested in the woods next to the school ? Just a couple of things for you to look into

Jones is Waaay more funny than Logan Paul...
I know who I'd rather watch. Even if that is like asking how hard you like to be kicked in the balls.
nox5555 Definitely yet more dangerous to society, he sells hatred and snake oil. Logan Paul just sells merchandise and could be used as a great example to kids that your actions have consequences and it requires you to be accountable in order to achieve forgiveness. Especially with internet mob mentality, forgiveness is a lost concept at times it seems. Therefore I think I can easily forgive Logan Paul, I have gallows humour myself, I just don’t broadcast my life therefore I don’t get judged by people who don’t know me for laughing at someone’s misfortune or bad decisions. What I really took away from this is that Alex's Dr. Claw voice is spot on.

The worst part is that there actually are antidepresents being put in the water. By people flushing them down their toilet. Lots and lots of people still doing that.
I heard it said that there are so many heroin addicts in Glasgow that methadone can be detected in the water supply. Don't believe it personally but your comment reminded me of this.
@@mrhed0nist Testing sewer water for drugs is a method generally used for research into drug consumption per population actually. Here in the Netherlands for example most cocaine/amfetamine residue (per capita) is found in sewer water in Amsterdam, which actually has the most in all of Europe, yet cocaine residue is also quite high in Volendam, a small town where lots of Dutch singers come from/live.
Ah I didn't know that, thanks.
This is just how human bodies work, they can't process the complete amount of just about any substance put into them. A good portion of drugs and medication is coming back out the other end. Just like the foods that you eat, their constituents too can be detected in the sewage. There's no reason 99% people who are prescribed antidepressants would just take the pills and flush them down, because (a) depression does not cause delusions of the kind that they are being watched and their trash is being searched and would have to dispose of them discretely, so they can just chuck them into the waste bin should they decide not to need them or conclude that the side-effects are worse than depression (b) almost all depression patients are receiving them voluntarily and likely at least partially paying for them. It's probably just a movie cliche or something like that. It makes more sense to just stop getting prescriptions and save what's left for later because depression tends to come back and they know that, and they know that when it's back they might not have the power to go see the doctor again.
The best absorbed antidepressant by far is Fluoxetine, with about 10% of it being flushed down the toilet; but it goes downhill from there, something like Citalopram, only half of it will be absorbed. What is your suggestion exactly, i don't think pissing exclusively into bottles and collecting those for chemical waste disposal will be conductive to people feeling anywhere near healthy again.
@@SianaGearz Exactly. We'll just have to live with hermaphroditic frogs I suppose ;)
I wrote Jones off as some crazy too… until last year proved a lot of what he was saying correct. Now I really wonder.

I don't believe for even one second that Alex Jones believes a singular word of what he says; the hyperbole is so overwhelmingly obvious throughout. His is a well calculated performance. What fascinates me about him is the commitment of both his audience as well as his colleagues within INFOWARS to the nonsense. You look at the difference between his presentation and a lot of the younger people who present on his show; there's a palpable, measurable difference. What's even more interesting are the mainstream networks that include or involve him, as if he's in any way a credible opinion. He is IMHO the ultimate professional troll, except that he's not merely trolling his detractors or even his audience. He's trolling his compatriots, his own employees. I genuinely believe that everything that he does is a cold, calculated performance.
He's playing a character, plain and simple. He needed to admit that in a child custody court case in order to not be considered insane.

You should watch the interview with Jones' ex wife. I feel bad for his kids.
Yeah but a women scorned and all of that my young friend.
Google Sucks ok comrade whatever you say.
This isn't directed at the video by any means. I feel it to be a very objective and analytical observation. The subject strikes a very personal chord with me, however, and I want to put this anecdote out into the ether in hopes that it serves as some sort of evidence of Alex Jones's virulent influence. With that in mind:
I very genuinely hate this man.
It was Alex Jones's insane ravings - as well as those of the tinfoil hat community at large - that preyed on my mother's insecurity and compelled her to stop taking her medication. She had been dealing with schizophrenia for years, and it was gateways into the world of fear mongering like Alex Jones that kept her spiraling out of control. I once overheard her telling my dad about how the house needed a sign out front advertising for the Alex Jones Show, and she said it in the calm, clear voice that I rarely ever heard at that point. It was one of the few things she was able to elucidate.
This paranoia profiteer was one of the few voices my mentally ill mother would listen to because he knows how to leverage his opinions upon those who are trying to make sense out of the world, but replacing knowledge with his own manufactured terror for the sake of turning a profit. It's voices like this that instill real, genuine, irrational paranoia into people, and the fact that he can sidestep responsibility for the lives he and his like have ruined under the banner of showmanship or whatever reckless rationale they justify themselves with fills me with real, seething hatred.
Please. Never write these sorts of people off as simply blowhards. Anyone who raves about unsubstantiated conspiracy is a legitimate menace.
I'm very sorry for both you and your family. He knows all too well the pain he causes.
sorry for you and your family, it just so predatory, what Alex Jones does. it sickening.
I blame you for Alex Jones because you won't read Antony Sutton's works or Carroll Quigley.
People don't go to first hand sources so charlatans like Jones can profit from their lack of knowledge.
Same with people like Anne Coulter and Katie Hopkins. They know they can gain money and attention by doing what they do rather than what they truly believe, their danger is they pander to and fuel the insecurities of some people. Best wishes to you and your family.
I don't mind recognising that aj is immoral and twists the truth. Honestly if the MSM wasn't all owned by 2 corporations, which influence what stories they cover, and how they've given up hard news for "entertainment" then I dont think there would have been room for Alex Jones to rise. As long as the MSM continues down this path trust will continue to diminish and more Alex Jones will be made.
MSM aren't owned by 2 corporations outside of the USA though. Alex Jones might be a nutcase that fills the void, but others are far more dangerous that do so. Russian state funded propaganda always poses are the more 'reasonable alternative' to western MSM, and it seems China wants a piece of that cake too. Plus he talks on Twitter about having a podcast, but I haven’t checked it out yet. He was the closest thing we were to freedom of speech on tv, and even though I didn’t always agree with him, it was devastating to see him go.
As a long time conspiracy theorist, it's annoying to see the Infowars brand dominating conspiracy/anti-government circles. For a long time I've pondered the notion that he's controlled opposition to make anti-government types look bad. It's more likely, however, that he found a winning formula and is squeezing all the money he can from it. A lot of pals of mine like him, but (while I wish him no ill will and hope to see him be uncensored once again)I think he's a total fucking hack who does more harm than good with his blatant profiteering.
I've honestly had that theory for a long time as well. Though mine is abit more broad, that maybe some of the more violent and aggressive anti establishment conspiracy theorists are actually working for or being influenced by another force that would want to make sure people turn against the government at a moment of their choosing. I had a much better example for this but I cant recall it now. That the whole "The government is run by aliens" was actually done by the aliens, so that when they invade people will turn against the human forces trying to protect them. It would make us defeat ourselves instead of presenting any united front against the aliens.
It honestly makes a creepy kind of sense. I just wish I could explain it better. I'm not all that into conspiracy theories, but this is one I've thought about and return to now an again.
He is Israeli controlled opposition.
As a very much not conspiracy theory, this may be the one time I'm on your side. Fuck this guy.
His libertarianism is not his most recognizable feature. He's seen as more of a conspiratorial shock jock. The internet's crazy uncle. He's not gonna write articles for the Mises Institute any time soon and proponents of small responsible government aren't trying to make him into their star.
IceyCold TaB,
He probably is controlled opposition.
Georg Rockall-Schmidt Jones: They turned the water gay!
Holy smokes -- that old chunky lunatic is YOUNGER THAN ME?????
Dude's a televangelist
Yeah he uses the same formula. It's all about the moneyz..
its funny because he mostly correct with his predictions
I love often you refer to Steve! Gives it that personal feel!
that dead as delivery of 'shouldn't you be digging a hole or something?' was perfectly timed with the context of the previous statement. fucking glorious... i used to watch jones as a meme back in 2008-10. it was a great way to wind down after a days work and the craziest thing was, just like the super market tabloids, jones actually got shit right once in a while.
I wish you would have covered his inflitration of Bohemian Grove. He went in with a team from English media that included Jon Ronson. Funny thing is that Alex and Jon took away different things from that. Alex claimed that there was human sacrifice or at least mock sacrifice during the Cremation of Care. Jon saw this as mere theatrics.
Ronson's 'Them: Adventures With Extremists' is such a great book. Though it's about 20 years old now it's still so apt.
I agree, the very different perspectives & experiences of Ronson vs Jones were telling.
Ronson there close to Jones' inception as the High Clown Priest of The Paranoid.
Well... at least you know your films. Go ahead though. Trust the government unquestioningly.
The shame is, Jones is the definition of the broken clock analogy. I know I sound like Joe "what do you know about coyotes?" Rogan...I'll sunset myself.
that man is a disappointment to himself
I see you have not done your homework on Timothy mcveigh. See James Corbetts the Timothy mcveigh story.
See just about anything corbitt does. Especily ww1 conspiracy
2021, Alex Jones not looking so stupid.
The best thing Alex ever did was sneak into bohemian grove..
His scanner darkly cameo was cool too. He's cool when not taking himself too seriously
Jones' ex-wife said he spews wild shit on his show that he doesn't actuals believe.
