- I did a bit of damage to the hitch recently, so I'm taking this as a sign that it's time for upgrades! In addition to new parts, she's also going to be completely disassembled and change colors.
I plan to bring you a mini-series of disassembly/reassembly/setup videos to help get your new bike running perfect. Check back regularly for new releases!

Yeah, I just got one waiting to see how long it takes to break something. Pre grease job sounds like a good idea. Thanks
Looking forward to seeing this progress!
Todd Pollock me too!
Truvativ Hussefelt Downhill 31.8 bars and matching stem. Solid and cheap. About $50 for both on Amazon, you wont regret it
I bought this combo and love it. You can see them installed on my bike... there is a video of my bike on my channel. Check it out.
Bought an abused It will need a lot of TLC. Handlebars, shifter, grips, seat and hydraulic brakes are all on order. Probably grease the bearings and have the tires trued while I'm at it. Kick stand? Who's? you tell me.
I am also a Hitch Rider the first thing I did was lube and adjust all the Bearings / replace the head set and stem and made it a 21 speed / Tires and shifters have also been changed along with pedals grips and Bars My Mongoose Terrexx is the same way
I also belong to the Mongoose Phat Bike group
Kenneth Dare that's a great group. Glad you checked out the new video!
I have the mongoose malus thicc Bike
Does the mongoose hitch have a stainless steel frame?
stanley stoner I believe it's a combination of chromoly and high tensile steel.
Budget friendly biking do you know the major differences between the dolomite vs malus vs hitch? I am wanting one of the for a hunting bike but am unsure of which one to chose?
stanley stoner the malus is what I have and every time I ride it I can’t stop smiling so I totally recommend the malus (it helps that it is budget friendly but durable as hell)
Get a mic. Otherwise looks cool...budget upgrades.
+Mark Stewart thanks! Mic is on the next up list. I'm still learning editing, so it'll be a bit before I'm skilled at audio/video syncing. Any suggestions on easy methods?
I feared you would ask. No suggestions, just a mouthy end-viewer who has to crank his speakers all the way up. If I were doing what you were doing you'd be commenting about me getting a mic... ;-)
Mark Stewart haha, no worries. I don't disagree! I'm dedicated to this UA-cam thing though, so I'll get there eventually!
Can you add an external mic to whatever camera you're using to film?
Daniel Neubauer out of curiosity, what are you guys watching the video on? I ask, because I can make this ridiculously loud on both my phone, wife's phone and computer... I'm wondering if maybe the audio needs to be optimized for additional gadgets. Thanks.
"How are you gonna paint this on a budget" Says the guy that makes over 100k a year and if you don't make that much, take a look around yourself and ask why you live differently from almost all "Americans" of any color besides white. Looking at what you have in that small room... You have NO IDEA wtf a budget is and painting a bike wouldn't put a dent in someones pocket who does know what a budget is.
What a douche
