Thanks for sharing these, I remember some of these from childhood. That BB lotion was amazing when I was in US as a child. The ors hair lotion is my favourite. You may have high porosity hair. You'll be best using products with silicones & lots of oils high in the ingredients list. They will close the cuticles down the hair shaft down a lil to keep it moisturized. Glycerine might not suit your hair type..for myself it seems to dry it out so much more while weighing it down. Pink worked only on fresh day hair for myself too & irritated my skin so much but I think that was more teenager laziness. I never properly remoisturised& refreshed it after that first wash lol. Just the front with a hard bristle brush & gel or hair lotion. 😳😂 so glad I know how to look after it now.
Thanks for watching. Glad you’re familiar with some of these products. The BB lotion is a fantastic product, and I find the ORS to be very moisturising and easily accessible too. We seem to have something in common regarding these two products lol. However I actually have low porosity hair, which makes it difficult for products to penetrate well within my hair cuticles. I have also done the ‘hair porosity test’ and it always floats in water, which proves the fact😃
@@ImpartialMind ahh that's interesting cuz my porosity hair strand test did the same just stayed on top like nothing was getting it... but everything regarding the low porosity hair routine & products targeted toward that hair type & my similar curl pattern don't work for me 😂 it's so strange. Thanks for the video.
No, I personally wouldn’t use pink oil as a sealant, I’d rather use it on its own. It’s all down to personal preference, but for me this particular product is too greasy to be mixed with other products.
@@ImpartialMind i understand that. I was asking because I feel that the BB oil is too light for my hair and it gets dry after a day or two. Would you recommend applying any hair grease on top of oil moisturizer?
No, you don't need to, as most of the oil moisturizers I've mentioned are really oily and can weigh the hair down. However, you can seal an oil moisturizer with products like Shea Moisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil Styling Lotion, or with Motions Weightless Daily Oil Moisturizer as there both lightweight and don't seem to retain moisture. This all depends on your hair type, as some may require a lot of moisture.
@@ImpartialMind I been putting in pink lotion moisturizer in my hair everyday for last two months, I noticed my hair would dry up quick my hair texture is very thick Do you think it's just the thickness of my hair and that it requires alot more pink lotion added or I should consider using a different product?
I have thick curly hair,I used Kuza hair moisture lotion,it's really really good. I highly recommends it to dry hair.
I love CurlMax and carefree curl activator

I have natural hair and I hope ORS help my hair. Awesome informative video
Thanks, I'm glad you found it informative. Kuza Naturals Black Castor Oil Hair Lotion Moisturizer would also be great for natural hair 😃
Great video straight to the point and useful information
Glad you find it useful, thanks 😀
I always liked Long Aid K 7 pink lotion but I can't find it. So I us Lester's and motions or olive oil.
The lotions that tend to weigh the hair down have castor oil in them. Castor oil can weigh the hair down.
Thank you
You're welcome😀
I love the Bb oil
Me too 😃
Sameeeee
Thanks for sharing 😊
My pleasure 😊
Would you use the pink luster on top of other moisturizer? As a sealant?

The first product that you mentioned is it great to use in Natural 4c hair? Btw great video
Yes it’s good for 4c hair and other hair types
Do you have to seal an oil moisturizer even though it has oil in it?

Maybe you should consider using another product like ORS Olive Oil Incredibly Rich Moisturizing Hair Lotion, it works well with thick hair textures.
That kera care is the boom. It cost a lot.
So true, It is the second most expensive oil moisturiser in this collection 😃
