      Hey Chris! You have definitely changed my life by sharing you’re hair care tips and routines and I see a much bigger difference! But I do want to ask you a question. I know you have made a routine for fine, medium and coarse hair. But what if you have dandruff? Which products would you recommend if i have medium hair type and dandruff? Btw keep up the good work! Love you :)

      Can I use Redken’s pre-shampoo treatment to help retain the mask moisture for my 10-year-old daughter, who has coarse, dry, and super frizzy hair (with 20 cm of frizz)? Or would she need to use hair botox to significantly reduce the volume? I’m confused about which products to use, as her hair has almost every issue except split ends. She dreams of wearing her hair down one day instead of always tying it up or braiding it!

    I *really* wanted to not be impressed with Pureology's leave-in conditioner. I didn't think there would be that much of a difference. But I bought it last year on a Black Friday sale, and used it - again, hoping that I'd think, "See? Not that big of a difference." 😀 Well, THAT didn't happen. The first time I used it, I was absolutely blown away by the change in my hair. I have very thick, wavy hair, and it made it feel AMAZING. And honestly, I don't use a ton of it, so it lasts a long time.

    The Redkin Bond is PHENOMENAL!!! You really do have a huge improvement the first use 😳🤩. I had to add it to my trinity routine after getting all the colour out of my hair. I’m almost 54 and my hair is white on top, light grey mids and ends. I was sick of colouring it and using the spray to cover my skunk strip so I took the plunge. I had all the dye removed and it was a process! Holy moly. It’s healthy and gorgeous but they handed me the Redkin bond treatment and told me to use it mids to ends 3x a week for a month then at least once a week afterwards. Hair changes as you age, ah the joys of getting older! I’m not complaining though.

    Hi! Please make a video about the effects of hard water on hair and product recommendations. I live just outside of Austin, in Kyle, TX, where the water is very very hard (85% of United States water is considered hard). I moved from NYC, and my hair was in great condition there. Now, I have breakage, an itchy scalp, and hair thinning (for context: I've already been to a dermatologist and had my blood drawn for good measure). It's the water! Worth mentioning is I have had a shower head filter in place (based on all the social media hype) and it is not enough as one of your previous videos confirms.
    I'm specifically interested in:
    - Shampoos, conditioners, and other products that can combat hard water and improve hair health.
    - How often to use these products for the best results.
    When I wash my hair I have to wash all of it (not just the scalp) because otherwise the mineral buildup hits my mids and ends hard. Lastly, I will be having a water softener installed as this is the only proven way to soften water.
    Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!🙏🏽

    I have fine almost straight processed hair that gets super dry and is almost 50% grey. One day at Sally's I asked the girl what she recommended and bought the product. It was a game changer for me. L'Oreal Nature's Therapy Mega Moisture creme. Initially I used it as a mask and suddenly my hair felt moisturized and full of life again. I started using it as my conditioner every time I wash my hair and surprisingly enough it didn't make my hair limp but it did pretty much eliminate static electricity and on the days it has fly aways or static I just put a pea size drop in my hand and run it lightly through my dry hair ends. My hair doesn't look greasy and it tames those issues. Now I buy it on Amazon in a 3 pack. Everyone I've recommended try it has loved the stuff. Can't do without it. Try it than leave a comment on your thoughts of the product.

    If I use the Redken Thermal Spray for heat protection, should I then use the Pureology Leave-in conditioner right after the Redken, so both of them, and then blow dry?

    Thanks! Just making sure that both can be used in the hair trinity regiment.

      @leslienaoom Місяць тому

      Yes. So the Pureology is sprayed on after towel drying your damp hair. The Redken Thermal Spray is only applied on dry hair before using an iron. You need a blow dry cream or gel for blow drying to protect you against heat like Big Blowout or Frizz Dismiss Rebel Tame.

    I stopped using regular shampoo & use a natural based shampoo made from olive oil soap base with rosemary oil & biotin. I use (alternately) coconut oil, shea butter, castor oil with lavender oil, & treat my scalp then work it through to ends. I am 73 & my hair is healthier than it was in college. I just had to stop stripping my hair from those detergent based shampoos. What I'm looking for is a very light finishing spray since I hate helmet hair than can not move. So do you have recommendations? In the 70s Pantene had a great light finishing spray. But today's version is definitely not the same. I could also use more volume. Here's a sidenote: dry hair is often a result of thyroid getting low ouptut but bloodwork looks normal. And just taking a kelp supplement improves that a lot. Biotin too. Loved all your tips. I don't color because I feel like I earned more grey than I have, and when color fades it looks horrid. I'll try the root lift & LI conditioner.

  • @robertperez3422

    I have tried the Pureology Color Fanatic and the Kenra Daily Provision, and it makes my hair oily 2x faster. I only apply to my roods and a little bit on the mids, and then I brush. Now I just go to the heat protectant and then apply hair oil. P.s. I absolutely love your shampoo and conditioner. Your conditioner is the reason I skip leave-in conditioner altogether as it offers enough conditioning for my hair needs.

    • @nancymoffler558

    • @robertperez3422
      @robertperez3422 Місяць тому +1

      @celinear5582 to my ends, never the root. I find the Kenra leave-in conditioner to be much lighter than the Pureology, but both make my hair have that wet look on day 2. I have an oily scalp, but the leave-in conditioner makes it worse. The Pureology I would spray 3 times on my hands and then run it through the ends and then the mids. That would offer enough coverage. Fine hair is more prone to oiliness, but genetics are role too, as well as other habits (foods, etc.).

    • @leslienaoom
      @leslienaoom Місяць тому

      @@robertperez3422 Hey! Remember that your hands have oil on them so when you’re applying it you are adding oil to your hair. It’s better to spray it. Only two sprays go towards the top of your head and the rest on your mids/ends. It’s a very light product so it is most likely a shampoo/conditioner or washing technique that’s messing up your routine. Feel free to email us at team@live-love-locks.com

      And also wash brushes, otherwise you are brushing oil into roots the next day, I brush sprays / cream through with a comb not my daily brush.

    Have y'all seen that Morcannoil has started making a hair oil formula for fine hair? I know the regular formula is on the recommended list for the thicker/courser haired folks, so I decided to try the thin version last time I ran out of Olaplex and I LOVE it, plus it's cheaper, which is always a bonus
