    You could also say Zarude has "verde" in its name, which is the Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, and Romanian word for "green." So its name could be said as "The Rude Green."

      Just because a word exists within another one doesn't mean they're necessarily related. "Slaughter" has nothing to do with "laughter", after all. Or at least I sure hope so.

    This was great! I loved the Japanese names for this gen more than the previous ones. Cursola's name hit me hard and had me thinking. So clever

      Sword: Watch your step when wandering areas oceans once covered. What looks like a stone could be this Pokémon, and it will curse you if you kick it.
      Shield: Sudden climate change wiped out this ancient kind of Corsola. This Pokémon absorbs others' life-force through its branches.
      Note the use of "sudden" and "oceans _once_ covered".

    Zarude also fits with the Legendary Wolves. Zarude meaning The Rude or the rude one...
    ALSO it still matches the "printer" theory since it's primary color scheme is BLACK! So we now have the K of CMYK...all that's left is the Y or the Yellow
    I'm almost 100% certain we will get a 2nd Mythical as we did last gen with Marshadow after Magerna...I don't think were getting a 3rd since I don't think we'll be getting a 3rd/3rd & 4th game since they're doing the expansion pass and all that.

    "Don" means "tooth" in Latin. It's not a "common dinosaur suffix".

      People who make up dinosaurs for fun exist and a good number of them don't know latin so they just use common suffixes, like don. Both statements are right, but he didn't explain why it was used.

    The "-don" in many dinosaur names comes from Latin and translates into tooth but yeah in the case of the fossil and Duraludon it's more based on the fact that many dinos and dinolike animals have this ending
