I’ve tried plenty of basses, loved some, hated some......I always go back to Warwick. I have two streamer jazzman’s. One 4 and one 5 er. Versatile af and I’ll keep them until I give it up or die.
Man I've had a Warwick Thumb BO Pro for about two months now and every time I pick it up I end up playing for at least 4-5 hours. It's just so fun to play and sounds superb.
Dude I want a Warwick bass so bad! I'm perfectly happy with my Schecter Stilletto Extreme, but I love the Warwick tone. Also I like how you're playing what Jason played only playing fingerstyle as opposed to using a pick/plectrum, yet you still get an nice growly tone. SImilar to how Cliff Burton and now Robert Trujillo sound. Nothing against Jason's bass playing though but his style is different, and he makes a better frontman than just strictly a bassist. I saw him play live with his band Newsted back in 2013. They were fucking awesome, and I honestly thought they sounded better than Metallica. Jason's vocal style reminds me of Lemmy. I was sad to hear that they split.

I have this exact bass, switched the pickups to a Emg set,gold hardware and the tuning keys are also Wenge material.

The bass is plugged directly into the M900. Only the Beta 52 was used. No DI.
