@@Yammie_Moto671 I remember watching a metallica documentary where they interviewed one of the producers for AJFA, apparently he hated the lack of bass and didn't understand why they wanted it to sound like that so much where he actually quit...until someone dragged him/motivated him back into it.
Your precision on The Riff is absolutely fucking insane for finger style. You honestly have to be one of tightest fastest finger style players out there right now.
this guys bass tone and sound on whatever he plays is the best tone i've ever heard - plus he plays faster and more clearly than robert does in metallica - this dudes channel is sick
I do NOT comment on youtube. Just never had the desire for an unwarranted, pointless online argument... but this has finally broken me. As a guitar player from age 10 and listening to all the real Metallica stuff back when it was released, I've heard a LOT of different bass players play. Some were truly incredible. But I have to say, man, that, unless this is somehow post-produced/spliced/edited/otherwise toyed with (and I do NOT think it is), then you have edged your way into the most incredible bass player I've had the honor and good fortune to be able to watch perform, even if only via video, and not in real life. Even so... wow, I'm... I'm really *not* someone who is ever at a lack for words, but... I sincerely don't have the means currently at my disposal to accurately relate how absofuckinlutely AMAZING your playing is. I... I'm completely blown over, dude. (And yeah, I also do *not* blow sunshine up people's buttholes, _especially_ not strangers, and online on top of it! But I couldn't care less at the moment. This is absolutely spectacular, SPECTACULAR playing. The tone, the precision, just.. everything. Thank you very, very much for providing this opportunity to watch you play.) PS - Oh yeah, forgot to even mention, thanks for recording *BY FAR* the best version of Justice I've ever heard. SPEC TAC U LAR, dude. Spectacular. Just absolutely frickin sublime. I'm.... wow.
Originally bass was not there for the whole of the album, although originally originally it was there, played by Jason Newsted, but it was turned to the minimum by Lars. Now enthusiasts try to restore justice for Jason. All glories to them!
Wow wow wow ! I don't manage to play it with a pick and I was wondering how Robert Trujilo managed to play it without. I've got a response here : talent ! Congratulation this is sooooo impressive 🤘🤘🤘
Awesome video!!! Love the tri-split screen partway into it!! Josh can shred, love the Warwick. Great tune to cover, ONE always been my favorite Metallica song. 😎😊
if you cant pull off the machine gun part try doing it like this. two gallops plus one. its like this the whole time over time it becomes easier and at first try it with lower tempo dont just jump in doing it with the original tempo your fingers will loose feeling and youll be unable to do anything
It may be the first time I hear a Warwick bass that doesn't sound like shit. I'm still not completely convinced by the sound but at least it's not downright horrible like almost every other Warwick I've ever heard or played myself. Question is how much of it comes from the Darkglass.
Finally, justice for Jason 👏👏
But its not Jason playing though.
not pick, not justice.
It’s never been the same since
@@Yammie_Moto671damn close my friend
I think Michael Anthony plays that same bass
Man it sounds like you play it a goddamn pick. The tone is so good.

Jason's sound was great. This album would've sound sooo much better with it. Live was awesome cuz you got to feel it.
Jason actually wrote some of the main riffs on the album, sad they tuned his bass out.

NICE, at 4:19, not many can pull this part off so clean with finger style! I bet he can cover meshuggas bleed with ease too...
For real though, I was waiting for that bitty and it was executed beautifully!
Wait, there's bass in the actual song?!?
@@martyschriver 😂
It took three camera shots😂😂
How can someone dislike this.. Everything is so perfect
Lars and Robert bots.
what
youtube 2022 = no dislikes
People that can only play it with a pick probably, including Jason🤣

The bass tone has some beef to it
Nay, good sir! I believe it is a filet of Wagyu. Truly some premium beef!
Your precision on The Riff is absolutely fucking insane for finger style. You honestly have to be one of tightest fastest finger style players out there right now.
That bass tone is better than sex. You just made this song and the whole " and justice for all" album sound incredible
weird comparison, but totally agree, hahaha
Blows my mind how good one can get on bass, bravo!

@@inwoodhostel6524 why did lars turned down the bass?
@@melozocco23 Because Lars didn't want it audible after Cliff's death

This isn’t a cover. You simply added bass. Well done!
No, it actually just matches the isolated track you can find on youtube
Wow! executed perfectly in finger style!!
Awesome to hear this song with bass
Jason was a genious and this mate as well.
You knocked Jason's tone out of the park
SO MUCH FATTER with clear loud bass - awesome performance!
WOW. I'm speechless. This is exactly how Justice should sound. This is twice as powerful sound than the original and the recent "remaster"!
The best bass channel out there!
Excellent - the song is finally complete.
Stamina with fingers on this 😮😮😮😮shockingly good
I like how bass is playing b phrygian under b natural guitar riff, and it still fits , and darken the sound
Best Bass cover for One I've come across
Все супер!!! И игра, и мимика, и жесты, и движения! Молодец, постарался)
This..... This makes me wanna pick up that bass guitar again.. Good job!!
Metallica members should call this guy to be a special guest on their concert and play with them...he diserve that..guy is amazing..👍
they have a bassist, that would be very disrespectful to rob and how about little respect for jason, remixing the album with his original bass lines?
Only beast level bass player can play one in fingers style
That's awesome
I'm on beast level😂
I would have expected 7 minutes of silence...
Haha, so funny so original
Kmac did that
Stupid fuck!!! Cut those dumb Fucking jokes already...not Even funny anymore...
