    Dear Susan,
I have just realised that watching your UA-cam channel is one of the great ways of learning to spend time alone as part of the “gear shifting” process after the honeymoon phase!
Doing so not only helps me feel gradually more comfortable with spending time apart from my partner but also helps me grow and prepare myself for what’s ahead in my relationship as your videos have always helped me through difficult times in a relationship!
Thank you Susan - your videos have always been a beacon for me when I navigate the wilderness in a relationship!

Matthew, this is truly the best compliment I have ever received! To hear that I can help in that way is simply wonderful. Please let me know if there is any question in the future that I can address for you. Feel free to DM me in Instagram!
Thank you so very much for your love and support! This truly made my day!

    My dear Susan,
firstly let me wish you a good week.
I loved your explanation. Is it my impression, or do people fear that their relationship might end after the honeymoon period? Eduardo Sá, a psychologist and Portuguese teacher, says that we have to communicate our intentions from the get-go. But also present our truth to our partners. That's the only way to truly connect and experience the gift of being naked inside out.
Love will endure and flourish as we get to know each other. And every stage in the course of every relationship will have for sure its challenges. Fears and doubts are part of the equation.
We are complex creatures, but as far as we accept change and the need to evolve, the more Love will be a peaceful realm.
    Big hug,
    Alexandra

Such wonderful insight, Alexandra. And so warmly communicated. I absolutely agree that being up front about our needs is essential! There is nothing more beautiful than seeing the results of effective communication. Relationships then have a solid foundation to grow upon. ❤️

Ha, as a single mom dating a single dad, we don't have honeymoon phase. We are already not available to each other as we please, have to go away and come back to each other, appreciate doing different things while in the same room. I am actually relieved that this is how it's working because the full on honeymoon phase and the end of it is really hard to adjust.

I love your videos, Susan. BTW you look fantastic in those shades of purple! Having your own space, time alone, is super important for any healthy relationship. In fact, you should be intentional about everything in a relationship...otherwise it's doomed to fail. No one person can give you ALL that you need. I would love it if all of us would learn how to love ourselves, doing personal growth and spiritual work so that we can be happier in life. We can't be always happy, that's not what life is all about. But we can be at PEACE with who we are and our purpose in life. God bless you and your followers, Susan!

Lisa, how brilliantly said! You are absolutely right! You have to fill yourself up with love and not expect someone to fill a void. Everyone’s personal journey is different but your statement applies to all! Thank you for your support and love!

Susan, I really wish I knew your channel before. It could have helped me doing wonders in my now broken relationship. Now I can see clearer what went wrong and my part in it, as little as it was. This video helped me clarify a lot of thoughts.
Hugs from Brazil! (also, you make yourself so easy to understand, that’s a pleasant extra!)

What an amazing video 😊 I thought I'd check it out to see if my relationship is going the right way. My best friend and I both ended up falling in love with each other and we've been through ups and downs during the friendship for about over a year. After all those hurdles did we then think it would be great to actually date and be together. We already know our flaws and already have boundaries. I feel like we know each other inside out so being more intimate is a bonus. People joke that we seemed like we were already dating when we would just hang out as friends 😅

Susan, always a great topic! I think people need help with this stage... great advice! The balance can be tricky. Especially spending time apart when you have been glued together in the months past. I will check out your course! Past the one year mark being married to my sweetie.

@@SusanWinter Your work was so inspirational and right on it helped me pull it together and learn about myself what I was doing that held me back .Additionally how I used to suffer such serious heartbreak after a breakup- you taught me that I didn't lose my dream and to keep going that I would find my person !
I cannot thank you enough. I'm happier now and using your info I relate to my person in a much more grounded way, if that makes sense. My feet will never leave the ground again! Appreciate you! Would love to meet you if you ever come to LA area and do a seminar or talk.

I've been following your channel for the last two years and wow! I've gotten a lot out of it. I recently bought a used copy of your "Older Women Younger Men" book, and I must say...... it provides a lot of information that i did not know existed. thank you Susan.

Hello susan 🥺❤️ you are amazing. I have a question. How do we deal with break ups that is due to different religion and cultures ? Do you think it is the best reason for break up? Or I can still find ways to fix the relationship 🥺 thank you my heart have been aching but your videos brings so much comfort to me thank you

Hi Susan. Thank you for your oh so insightful vidéos. This one is of particular interest to me these days but I was wondering: what if both partners are not out of the honeymoon phase at the same time? Thank you again and keep safe!

I was wondering, if it is possible to level out a relationship when it starts very intense? What would you suggest in this case? Thank you.

What do I reply to him when he suggests we can go for burgers anytime. This will be our third date. Do I suggest a day or just say great?
