    This is a very nice video and I recognise lots of myself, my behaviour in it. YT is definitely ‘my problem’. Not only I spent too much time on it, but also, it becomes dissatisfying, too much content of the same thing, without a true voice. I can barely make it till the end of any video those days, except some of the channels I subscribe to.
    Id like to point out that I made it to the end of this video :) Also, I command you for having the courage to delete something you filmed and edited that didn’t resonate with who you are.
    Thanks for those very good quality 10 minutes of my life. Oh, and I subscribed.

      wow, that means a lot. I try my best to avoid making content just for the sake of appealing to the modern day attention span and more so just focus on bringing out my inner creativity so it's nice to hear that I'm not boring everyone with my videos haha.

    I feel like I really needed to see this, I've been unemployed for awhile and been spending way too much of my days watching youtube feeling like I should be doing more. I want to pursue art as a career but I've been too afraid to actually do it, so I end up doing nothing or doing things I don't want to do. I'm going to try my best to unplug and actually make the things I want to make. Thank you 🙏

    Super authentic video! How do you prioritize what hobbies to pursue versus what to postpone/let go of? I'd be curious to hear your thoughts as that's something a lot of young adults (myself included) struggle with, especially balancing it with work/career interests. PS: Good luck on the new job! Hope it goes well!

    • @Govind_Poyapakkam
      @Govind_Poyapakkam  5 місяців тому +1

      idk if I have a good answer to that. For me, I drew for all of my childhood and was lucky enough to gain this period of time to rediscover that hobby. Best thing I can say is that it's only natural to pick up new hobbies and let old ones go when we outgrow them. I felt a calling to get back into art and I really enjoyed it!

      Haha fair enough calling me out on that. You are completely right. I think a lot of people ARE better off not watching UA-cam at all. BUT, most aren’t just going to quit completely. As I said in the video, it’s nice to have periods in our lives where we get off the internet. I said this not only because I needed it in that moment, but also because it’s more realistic than just completely stopping forever. I still have a select few UA-camrs I watch bc I still find their content inspiring. that recommended video offered an alternative approach that might work better for certain people. This video is just about my experience, how people choose to go from here is ultimately up to them.

    I liked this! Btw, with h.265 iphone footage, add a node, add Color Space Transform, and convert it from Rec.2020 or Rec.2100 to Rec.709 and it'll fix the flat green look. May need to add back a little contrast. Hope to see more.

      @@Govind_Poyapakkam For sure! On apple devices it tends to automatically translate the H.265 HDR to non-hdr playback when required but most editing programs seem to require manual conversion back to standard colorspace. Just one of those things haha.
