Liquor gummi bears - The best way to do this is to let them steep for about a week to ten days in the refrigerator, NOT with a hard lid, but in a bowl with light wrap. As the gummies expand, add more liquor so that they're still covered by liquid at all times. They will expand a LOT and they become very strong. Vanilla vodka is a crowd pleaser. Try other liquors. Black sambuca is funny - oil spill!

I tried doing this my freshmen year of college, however A) I thought it had to be rum to make rummy bears and B) I was 19 so I only knew about captain morgans. Turns out I wasted a good bag of gummy bears and terrible rum
Yeah, I never had any luck doing this either. Even though I thought soaking cola gummies in rum was a great idea. Like PV3 said, that half-melted texture is just awful, and they somehow got kinda bitter in the process.
