I used to have a 2007 Chevy Impala and the rear passenger side TPMS had to be programmed once or twice a year. I had to hold down the reprogram button, let the air out of the front driver's side tire until the horn beeped once, then go to the passenger's side front, rear passenger, and the rear driver's side last which would make the horn beep twice telling me that they were all programmed. I asked a guy at the garage that I take my vehicles to and the mechanics all said that they would do that in some cases. They also told me that they had replaced all of the TPMS sensors for several people who had the same problem and several customers had returned with the same issue so it wasn't the sensors. Videos like this are a very big help when you are an avid mechanic with your own vehicles or other's to troubleshoot and try to diagnose the problem. Thanks for giving people who need some help with an issue that don't have $200-$400+ dollars to throw at someone else to do something that you can get done yourself for much less. Not to mention how many mechanics that aren't on the level milking and basically robbing people.
My 70 350 Caprice was the best vehicle ever! I towed a 40’ travel trailer from Chicago to Phoenix with it. When I sold it, she had over 300k on the clock. One of those cars I wish I had kept!
Thanks to the algorithm, I'm watching video again. But it gives me the opportunity to appreciate Tommy's left-handed genius. What a pleasure watching someone with skills who is also a cool dude.
Aww man watching this gets me emotional. I’m 55, and my dad bought a ‘71 caprice “classic” when my sister was born in’71. It was the first car that I really learned on. It had the “400” (396 bored to 402 ci). It also a turbo 400 trans. The “turbo jet” engine had a quadrajet carb. It made 325HP. I know this because I remember the sticker on the air cleaner housing! The “classic” must’ve included “wheel skirts” on the rear quarters, which yours doesn’t have. I loved the rear window and louvers on trunk lid. As a kid I remember it had a fine wire antenna sandwiched in the windshield. I thought that was cool! My family had a repair shop and one of the guys asked “what are you doing with that lead sled?!” First time I heard that word! lol had to be about 1984-5. She was a big girl but she carried it well! So many of the people that this car reminds me of are gone now, but it brings back great memories! Thanks for that!
I love it when such magnificent pieces are carefully restored. Of course it costs money. But another classic car saved from the scrapyard. Perfect job 👍🏻
That thing turned out awesome, I've rode in one of those stock back in the day and can picture in my mind what that badass thing will do now. They don't make cars like that anymore, mostly throw away, Love the classics.
You guys always start with totally functional survivor vehicles... Its like cheating. That said, I'd take this build in a heartbeat. Good work gentlemen.
SHREWD, Tommy Boshers SHARP, Joel McMillan Thank you, Powernation 2 Brilliant video tutorial, start to finish loved it 👍 From Nick Ayivor from London England UK 🇬🇧 ⏰️ 20:53PM Good Evening
Son-of-a-beech. You guys just had to mess up my plans. Not building a car. Building a doubleneck bass/guitar. Was going to spray it vintage white but now, oh man. Emerald Green. My wife is going to kill me and collect some insurance. I once had a bass that was dark green. It was prettly. Now I am inspired to conspire a color change. Not metallic green but a real nice, darker Emerald Green. Okay, wait a second. If my Eagles win the Super Bowl; I am from Philly then I might consider Kelly Green with white appointments. Hmm. That Caprice looks Amazing. My first car was a 1971 Nova. Those cars were so easy to work on and you couldn't kill em'. Love that green and that chassis.
Brent, that master cylinder cover is slick!! The pedals look good!! Ah, to have talent, knowledge and skills is a wonderultimate thing!! Changing the dashboard would have been an enormous amount of work. Not that you could not have done it, you could have done it. I'm remembering " The General" project. I can hardly wait for your next episode, but I must be patient....Be well, Howie
Nice to see a build on a classic boat. I've had a few of these caprices and liked them . My brother bought a 66 Caprice with 396 3 on the tree a real classic
Chevy Caprice 2dht 1971! Legend! Big energine? Maybe it's 454 Ls6, or maybe Ls7, what is "boxin your working do it" model! A great motor! I lazy power (vääntö) is just a great! Pete Kr 🇫🇮🎸🌩
memphis yall be careful on vac. we will love u... love u too, intercepted by moore she hustles to the finish line and slides in head first. safe. your safe
Just a note : When you pull a good engine or one that your going to rebuild & you don't have or aren't using an engine stand use a old tire to set your engine on
I miss the old mechanical clutches. I wish I could find one for my 26 yr. old truck. It has a hydraulic and I've had to replace the master and slave cylinders a few times because they are made of garbage.
Both super snakes still exist the other car went to his best friend at the time, Bill C . And he is not telling anybody where it is. However i can tell you this it is tucked away with only 218 miles on the clock...
Why didn't you take care of the undercarriage before you painted the body ?? A good show vehicle is sandblasted all over as a prep before painting & undercarriage rust proofing .
Or, you could get amongst it. Do as much you can yourself, even if it takes years, watch things like this to help and inspire you and have something that you could be proud of, even if its not a show car at the end of. Or not😮

300k is nothing for those big boys

Hey Tommy! Hey Joel!
I got 4 words for Fat Stacks!
"I LOVE YA BAAA-BY"!!!!!
Love this build. Tommy Boshers is the man!!
oh yeahhhh
I love it when such magnificent pieces are carefully restored. Of course it costs money. But another classic car saved from the scrapyard. Perfect job 👍🏻
Tommy is the kinda guy I could work with everyday...his philosophy on life and one liners would make for one helluva day.
That thing turned out awesome, I've rode in one of those stock back in the day and can picture in my mind what that badass thing will do now. They don't make cars like that anymore, mostly throw away, Love the classics.
One of my favorite 71 builds.. Might be the best 3 1/2 hours i spent on my laptop in a while..
Love this build and that motor. 840 horse with that large of a supercharger pulley is very impressive. Low boost and high dependability.
Boys are always interesting to watch with great outcomes and tips. All the best from Scotland from Baz & Freddy (assistance spaniel)!!
Just wow!! You are absolutely incredible man👏👏👏👏👏
Thank you 🙏
You guys always start with totally functional survivor vehicles... Its like cheating.

Thanks for bringing it to GoodGuy's it looks great in person.

Love it. My uncle had one of those when I was a kid. Who knew it was destined to become a classic….
Excellent ! The restoration is excellent and the content narration, humor, etc. is excellent. Job well done.
Man you guys are dope. So much attention to detail I love it. What a bad a$$ ride. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
That green was such an great upgrade to the original color.
"I like big bodies and I cannot lie." "They should write a song about that." HAHAHA
one of the most comfortable cars they ever made. awesome job.

I've had several caprices over the years, but my favorite one was my 77 Caprice, I hope someday you do one of those full builds.....Javi G.
THANKS Is nice to learn something every day YOU TUBE
Wow that paint job man !
Great job man
Beautiful & inspirational!
Chevy Caprice 2dht 1971! Legend! Big energine? Maybe it's 454 Ls6, or maybe Ls7, what is "boxin your working do it" model! A great motor! I lazy power (vääntö) is just a great! Pete Kr 🇫🇮🎸🌩
Wheel diameter is a little bit too big but this project turned out really nice. Cruising the freeway would be this car's happy place.
Tommy needs his own channel
Love that Donk! 💪🏾💪🏾
I had a 72 CUSTOM COUPE LOVED THAT BIG BOAT ..SAME BODY
I like vynle top cars. Done right and maintained they look great and unique.
My first car was a green "74. Smooth and comfortable. 😊
One of the best projects, but I would have loved to see them build a new dash pad in some way.
nice build no doubt enjoy this classic
This is one beautiful build🫡🫡🫡
Powerful lesson!!! APTTMH 🙏🏾
I love your content. I am curious as to what you do with all the vehicles you build.
I love the car, no matter where we❤❤❤❤❤❤
1:10:20 I like the Re-Elect Rosco P. Coltrane poster 🤣👍
Wow, very educational show
GREAT VIDEO..
Longer wheel studs is also much safer plus frame bracing for the horsepower you guys are getting is also a plus if you guys decide on another build
I love everything that you do my name is Robert from Panama city Florida
When TV was manly and awesome
memphis yall be careful on vac. we will love u... love u too, intercepted by moore she hustles to the finish line and slides in head first. safe. your safe
I love it.👌🏼💯
Very, very beautiful perfection
Đây là độ xe rất tài tình & đẹp nhưng mình vẫn thích phục hồi lại như nguyên bản ( hay nguyên mẫu ) thì OK hơn 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
1:36:37 I bet it feels so satisfying to get to this point.
Just a note : When you pull a good engine or one that your going to rebuild & you don't have or aren't using an engine stand use a old tire to set your engine on
1971 Chevrolet are very rare GM stop production because of strikes
@0:11 Trick Daddy would be proud!
Great job👍👍👍👍
3:31:31 look at the oil on the floor
The Green Mean Hulk😉💪💪😁😁👍🔥
Buck skin tan would look damn good on the inside an the top
Oh my goodness -- my dream my ideal car if i can have a life in Big America vast land
Wish they remade parts like they do chevelles. I can’t even find half the parts. Bench seat alone all broken is like a grand
Imagine doing it all by yourself outside on the ground I like to do it that way good for your back
This the one!!!
I miss the old mechanical clutches. I wish I could find one for my 26 yr. old truck. It has a hydraulic and I've had to replace the master and slave cylinders a few times because they are made of garbage.
what are u thankful for LR> who me, well im thankful for having a home while the enemies go to prison, your such a good boy jr. thanj u sonny...
I like everything except the rims being in different directions on opposite side, drivers side digging and passengers side swooping
Nice build. But a lighter brighter green paint job and black chrome all the shiny stuff would look even better. Good job very well done
honey im gonna go and air this bad puppy out today. go ahead tia,do whatever my love... awwww
I'd left the shiney black on the top instead of the rust causing vinal top🤷
Just wondering why not box some of the frame?
What happened to the skirts ???
How can I find out what fuel sending unit was used? The factory one is a canister style that is not reproduced.
What do you do when you finish a project? Sell or keep? 🇦🇺
had a 71 Impala CP
What’s up I like this 71 Chevy Caprice you need to put a digital dash in that 1971 Sherpa digital digital dash system seats
NICE
Gr8t restor guys hi 5,z and cheers
They seem very similar to the capri set
Do you have any ca4s or trucks for sale, and will you be parting with the turbo 54...
Do you guys sell any of the cars you restore on your show?
Good thing they're protective gloves and not just gloves.
I would have been tempted to leave the roof black.
we cut our 2 more pics from the old family tree. nice. they werent ever family anyways
Definitely should have went with a white top..
How much was total build when complete?
Both super snakes still exist the other car went to his best friend at the time, Bill C . And he is not telling anybody where it is. However i can tell you this it is tucked away with only 218 miles on the clock...
Im suprised that they didn't box the chassis considering the horse power
I just dont understand why they didn't do the undercoat and trunk work prior to painting
Ffs that’s beautiful
They just let it sit up like that with new exhaust and running?
Why didn't you take care of the undercarriage before you painted the body ??
A good show vehicle is sandblasted all over as a prep before painting & undercarriage rust proofing .
You want a vinyl top? It wrecked that gorgeous paint. I would've made it a convertible ragtop.
3:23:13 stripped bolt? or just me? lol
👍
Can i have that 400 sbc you pulled out😅😅😅
CANNY Peyton Pittman
Thank you
some yall in the bull pen might be related believe it or not. your just replaying what rachy said yesterday, no shit. she does the same shit to me
Aww I thought it was a new video.
Meh, another episode where they spends huge money on a car that normal folks cant replicate due to the cost...
Thats the reason im here. Cant make it a reality, but at least i can watch them do it😊
Or, you could get amongst it. Do as much you can yourself, even if it takes years, watch things like this to help and inspire you and have something that you could be proud of, even if its not a show car at the end of. Or not😮
So what..who cares its about learning how to do the shit yourself...dont be mad at them because u broke
You’d be supprised what a normal guy can build when they do it a little at a time
Yea in the 90s early 2000s you taking bout a 4 to 5k car now a pos would be 20k
