I just LOVE that mousse and gel, I actually do the mousse gel mousse method after plopping/microplopping. Both smell so good too.

The twisted herbal essence mousse is great it works best when you put it in wet hair and scrunch it and also flip your head down and apply more mousse and scrunch then allow to air dry
Slightly tighter more defined looking at least from my viewpoint with mousse. Looks good! I like to scrunch out with a drop of oil like Marula oil. Works great used very sparingly.

I like both of your hair pics. Your hair looks lovely. I just got a Ouidad cut and I’ve been using the Ouidad moisture locks leave in conditioner under neath the Tress Effects gel. You can scrunch out any crunchiness and you’re hair looks great. I finally decided that I like the Ouidad cut over the Deva cut for my particular curl pattern. It’s an internal cut that makes it unique to each individual. Best of all, I didn’t have to schlep into NYC to get it. Lol
Yes, there are now cutters that do Ouidad all over. I did find one a few years ago and I liked it but for some reason the last couple of cuts were not great and the last one...ugh! So I might make a day of it and go in. Been going in lately anyway so why not! I want to grow my hair out a little more first.
I actually love these products lol. I use the mousse together with the gel. These are my favorite cheap hair products. I thought your results were great with both.

Hi! Quick tip for covering roots. Try getting a pot of RevlonColor Stay Cream Eye shadow! Got mine from Walgreens for $ 4.89! Match your hair color and use your fingers or brush. Lasts until washed. Cheap and cheerful.
Ohh smart idea!! I'll look into it! Lately, I buy the Loreal root touch up spray and use that, also washes out.
Herbel essence has a bio renew line for curls it would be great if you would review it

I don't know if you can tell me, but what temp and how long do you leave the diffuser on each section? I have chest length thick wavy 2b hair and its always very frizzy. Also, how long did you wait before you diffused your hair. Is love to know, cause I try so many different ways to diffuse and it always turns out the same. Very frizzy, dry, and undefined. I'm not sure what to do, and yours always looks so defined and beautiful!!!
Aww thanks. So I've been using a diffuser for at least 20 years. I tried air dry but I dont like the results as much. I hardly move the diffuser around. I'll keep it in each section around 5 minutes before moving to the next section. You might want to try adding a little more product then usual. A lot of people don't agree with that but its what works best for less frizzy hair on me at least. Most importantly, don't touch your hair with your fingers. I hope this helps!

Can you make videos on how good shampoos and conditioners are also?
Ok, I'll look into it. I only use shampoo like once every 2 weeks and I don't personally notice a great difference with different conditioners (although I do have a favorite, ogx) but I can try them out!
I just bought the gel and haven't tried it yet. I wash my hair every other day. Does anyone have tips for the next day? Should I just wet my hair do I need to apply more gel?
HI Jamie! I remember this being pretty good the next day (the gel). I would take a small amount and run it through as if putting your hair up in a ponytail then scrunch! 😃
I am just going to try this product tomorrow. Do you add more product the next day or do you wash your hair daily?
I condition every day. My hair doesn't look great when I get up next day. Curls come out and it's just messy, unless I use extra product the day before. These were good products!

Why do you straighten your hair with your fingers before you apply your product? It seems like it would have much more defined curls if you didn’t leave it in a towel and then pull it straight with your hands.
So, before I put it in the microfiber towel, I scrunch my curls upward with my head upside down (video tomorrow is my daily routine, will show that). And when I pull it like that it's just ensuring I get the product all over. It's just something I learned from Ouidad YEARS ago. I separate the hair with my fingers then shake. When I shake the curls get defined.

I found at the end of the day your hair looks dry and matted with both products. I think you need something different.
