On your advice-I picked up the Ouidad.. so far I like. It did not make my hair feel crunchy or dry feeling. I also got 2 good hairs days out of it! 😀

The Quidad side looks more defined, shinier, & healthier to me. Less frizz also. Wondering if it will work on my super super fine hair. It has almost as much curl as yours.
I believe it will and probably work better than it did on me!
The Herbal essence side has way more definition. On a side note, that color blue looks so pretty on you! It really makes your eyes pop

Really late comment but I’m looking for products for my hair for my natural waves but a product that isn’t to “perfumey” if that makes sense. And I was wondering if you have any products that will be good?
I would try either Pacifica Beauty Pineapple Swirl Curl Defining Cream (around $12) amzn.to/2ysTM6M or BUMBLE AND BUMBLE Surf Styling Leave In (which is almost $30 so up there in price) t.ly/5PpjE. Both have little or light scent if any even. And I love both products. They are more for waves! :)
After watching a couple of videos about this particular brand (Climate Control)...I love it. It works really well on South Florida weather; which is summer all year long. The only thing I hate is the price for the little bottle you get. I can justify the price because I don't dye my hair and I have stopped doing Keratin treatments. The reason I purchased was because ULTA had the shampoo and conditioner for $32 instead of the $26 dollars each. I ended up purchasing two of each. It will definitely last me a long time.
The Ouidad looked better at first but I agree with your husband, by the end the other side looked better!

I"m on the fence. The HE side looks softer, but there is some frizz . the Ouidad looks stiff to me, but more defined.
Both great products! But if you are on a budget good to know we can get inexpensive products!
Ouidad looks better can wait you compare the new Ouidad strong hold. Travel size $10. I tried both and Ouidad didn’t work. Pantene curl gel is thick for my fine hair it works better. If you wanna try clean gel I recommend Giovanni LA hold styling gel strong hold. It’s very thick you have to add water and your hair need to be soaking wet.
I've never tried the Pantene! I'll look for it for sure! Again, gel is not my favorite type of product. I prefer creams, they just work better to give me softer hair which is what I like. I haven't tried Ouidad's stronger gel either.

Yes I agree.. I like to use herbal essences gels. I really like the totally twisted, however it doesnt have enough hold for my hair. I switched to the herbal essences set me up gel. I absolutely love it, it gives a cast but not too hard. I never use one styler lol so I pair with conditioning and shine adding products and get the greatest results. Loved this video.

You should really try not raking your hair so much while you’re scrunching. It would be so much curlier. And it’s so dry when you apply your products.
That method works best for my hair. The less water in my hair the better for frizz at least for me. The raking is a technique I picked up from the Ouidad salon many years ago and it's been working for my curls since. The raking helps separate the curls giving me nice defined curls. :)
NY Curl401 I use ouidad’s technique exclusively and actually worked in a ouidad salon. That’s NOT the ouidad rake and shake. At all. But if it works 👍🏻
