I've used both of those and I like them both. In my hair I don't really see a difference between them but I usually end up using the Totally Twisted just because it is so much easier to find. Idk why but in my town the Volumizing one is almost impossible to find. Thank you for another great video!
That’s weird you can’t find the volumizing one. Even though there was a difference between the two on my hair, it wasn’t a huge difference and I could probably use them interchangeably without it being a problem. Thank you for watching!

The Orange can tended to give me stringy hair, but the purple gave me nice clumps. Though again, this was my stand alone product from about 1994 until probably 2016! That's when I finally learned more about products and actually began experimenting with stylers. The light purple can ("tousle me softly") is crap. I bought it once on accident not knowing their was a 2nd purple can, and it had no hold lol

On Day one I like them equally. I'm super curious to see how they hold up. I used the totally twisted waaay back in the day when all I used was mousse AND I washed my hair every day back then! (I know, crazy!) So I have no clue how it holds up after day 1! I still use it sometimes, but I layer it with gel. Actually just started using it for a hack I picked up from fitcurls last week! After using a serum to scrunch out the cast, I then add a small amount t of this mousse to scrunch again ON DRY HAIR! Sounds insane, but I had horrific results from New products last week and had nothing to lose, so I tried and holy oh my gosh! Just did it again this week on top of good results, but waited until day 2. It really, really helps with humidity!
I think they both held up pretty well. I used to wash my hair every day too and I knew better! But it was shorter back then so I wasn’t too worried about it. That’s a great hack! Nice save for a bad wash day! Thank you for watching!
No matter what products I use I still have frizz I don’t understand 😢
Some amount of frizz is normal and unavoidable. I have it on my list of videos to make one all about frizz. It should hopefully be up within the next couple of months. Maybe you’ll find the answers you’re looking for there. Thank you for watching!

I looked at Herbal Essences website and their list of ingredients for the orange can and the red can seems to be identical, but maybe the percentage of certain ingredients is different in each?? Or maybe they are in fact the exactly same and they just changed the name on the can 🤣🤣🤣 🙄🙄
On the cans I have, the order the ingredients are in is a bit different. But not much. I think two ingredients switched places. So basically the same? Lol. Thank you for watching!
