I used to do this ALL the time! I'd rent a house, never with any curtains. Used to be able to find white sheets in the thrift stores for cheap. U can make them look SO nice!
Thank you for this video!!! I just purchased 6 twin xl flats from Walmart and clips from Amazon! I will need to get 10 more twin xl flat sheets for all of my windows!! I'm so excited that I found this video as I was dreading the high cost of pleated curtains!! Can't wait to hang mine in our new townhouse!!!!
It was not confusing, you actually made it a lot easier to get it even. They came out really nice
Oh my gosh!!!!!!! You just literally opened up a whole new world of possibilities for me!!! Love this idea!! Not only sheets but also you could use those wall tapestries that are everywhere now and come in like a bagillion colors and prints!! I have been searching for curtains for my bedroom for months and I finally bought a pair and got them hung up and they're just... meh. But now I think I've got a new plan thanks to you! So thank you! Liked and subscribed!! ♥️♥️♥️♥️
Beautiful idea I use to cut a hole in the top of the flat sheet and run a regular curtain rod through it but this is much nicer Thank-you!
Nice job my mom used to do that when I was a kid
Ohh my some one gave me some sheets to give away and looking at them I said to myself I can use it for the back of my curtains because too much light was coming in my bed room ….. so now seeing this makes it easier to handle …. Great job my girl… thank you❤
Love this! My mom & grandma used to do this. Nice high-end look. Thx
Looks beautiful x
Awsome job, did the same with mine and love it.
Just about to do the same in my dining room, using a huge vintage cotton embroidered table cloth. So your tutorial couldn't have been more timely and helpful. Thankyou! 😁
I will be doing this as our new house has at least 14 windows on bottom level so I am dying to get curtains. But could not find ones I like for less than $25 each. This will save us a ton!
This is such a great tutorial!
They look beautiful!!
Just came across this video. Love the idea. Quick question, I couldn't tell, is that a Merle Sheltie that ran by in the background at about
Thank you for tutorial, your curtains look great. Where did you get the clips to hang the curtains?
I love them.
My issue is finding affordable rods long enough. My window is about 15ft and both that and long curtains are so hard to get in Jamaica and expensive to ship
❤
What an awesome idea!!
