The Beach scene and the rock crawl at the falls could have had us fooled that this was a full scale vehicle and not a RC Model. Excellent detail from RC Girl, Haley.
Good to see you posting again after a lengthy hiatus. Your videos have undergone a major transformation since the old days. Always good, they are even better now. Thanks for sharing.
I really enjoy your videos because your enthusiasm for the hobby is infectious and your attention to detail really shows in the quality of your builds. It also doesn't hurt that you find some really beautiful places to video. Great work as usual.
Sweet I just built two of those last week spaz sticks candy orange and candy blue already broke a stock panhard mount got a treal aluminum integrated shock towers future proof (later non portal option) love ya✌️
Didn't see the link for programming the shift servos on the DX5. My first SCX10.3/DX5 and I smoked the dig servo while setting up. Also didn't realize there's a lockout spacer in the shifter. Always enjoy when you take us for a drive, peaceful and relaxing 😌
For drag brake , run a Y cable to two speed so as u are in low gear drag brake will engage in high off ,as for winch can always go wireless ...I use the Y two speed setup on a TRX 4 with mamba x and auxiliary cable . Nice build love the color 👍
Great to see that your back and very nice job done with the scx10 3. No need to rush a build and by taken your time you can choose your upgrades wiselly. Love the color and those HALO's wauwww they look great👍
I really love your vids! ❤️ I think what I like most is your craftsmanship and attention to detail. You have a very skilled hand and great eye for detail. You have inspired me to try my hand at a hard body crawler. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us!
Great job on the build RC girl . Love the color , looks awesome in the sunlight. What a beautiful spot, that waterfall just breathtaking, just like you, had to throw a compliment in there !! Glad you're back, Love your channel and what you do. This hobby is my passion too !! I love it. Until the next one.
Wow! R/C vehicles have come a long way since the R/C bug bit me in the mid 70’s. I’m mainly into aircraft but after watching this video, this crawler is definitely a future purchase. Thank you for your videos, very well done 👍
Great build, great video. This is the first "crawler" video I've watched. I discovered your channel while surfing RC Plane videos, and enjoyed a couple of those that you put up, so subscribed. Now, this! I'm actually amazed at the complexity of your build; I can see why it might have kept you busy for a couple of months. I'm mainly into DCC model railroading myself, but it's interesting to see what's going on in other hobbies. I'm definitely going to go back and check out your previous "crawler" videos. Thanks for posting them.
You were worried about the paint? It turned out great! At certain points it even looked green (like a forest or hunter) Love how you painted the hard top different than the body, sets it off nice.
Awesome truck and footage. Can't decide between this and the TRX-4 Blazer. I think I'm leaning towards the TRX-4, but I do see myself getting both and some point. Thanks
Fantastic video. I built my SCX 10 iii in June With HW 1080 esc, Holmes Hobby 550 torque master expert motor, Savox 1210 servo and a Flysky gt5 radio system. I painted a dark gray. I like the color you painted yours because it’s not to dark. The dark gray I painted mine the decals don’t stand out. I love your videos keep up the good work.
Loving my scx10 3 gladiator, great release. Minus the dig servo which is weaker than a baby pinky. Can't beat the old traxxas blues for micro servos in my opinion.
Nice rig! Looking forward to see what you find in a 6 channel+ Tx. I'd love to stay with a Spektrum Smart Tx for the battery life read out, etc, but 5 channels isn't enough. I have a Flysky 6 channel Tx that's great, but channels 5 & 6 are dials, not switches, which isn't ideal for 2 speeds, DIG's, winches, lights, etc. Don't feel like changing everything to Futaba.
Great video!!! I really like how you touch on all the upgrades with enough detail but not a complete install on them. I enjoy all your videos so please keep up the good work!!!
Amazing crawler footage and editing as usual! And the build looks incredible! That paint job is absolutely awesome! Thanks for posting the video! (I can’t believe I’m 2 days late watching it.) Also good to hear you’re doing ok. Just want to say I hope you haven’t been impacted by the fires. Take care, and thanks again!
I had to get MyTrickRC square attack light kit for my Cherokee. Is sooo bright and i just have the headlights. Your the only one with a video on Cherokee headlights. Thanks Happy off roading!
R/C girl glad to see your ok and well. Wondered where you went. Your vacation photos are fantastic. Nice review on the SCX10-3. I bought the Gladiator RtR on Tuesday. It’s pretty cool. It does need a few minor tweaks. Thank for info on servo winch mount and other cool stuff. Thanks
Lol Kevin Talbot!!! Thank you its women like you that have gotten my 43 yr old Girlfriend into the hobby with her crazy 40 yr old me , and now wanting to build a track and trail course!! Couples that play together stay together.lol. I lived in Bellingham Wa in my 20s.
Great video as usual. As a suggestion, why don't you free up a channel on your Tx by getting rid of the on/off switch for the light kit? Turning on an off the lights is cool but you can just plug in the lights when you indent to run at night. Now you'd have a spare channel for the winch. You'd want one of the three position switches for the winch.
Love your build. I wish I was able to build this for myself, but hand tremors from 1 of my medication doesn’t allow me to do a build. If I tried it myself, I’d have a tire mounted on the hood. I’m enjoying your channel.
Wow a lot harder than I thought it would be. I'm not good with tools, so I am seeking help from friends who have built this sort of kit before. Definitely do not get this if you are like me. Get the RTR version instead.
Bummer the boarder is closed we have a wicked mountain bike area in the Fraser Valley and at whistler we also have built a scale trail rc area in poco would been fun to have you out this way

I just love my flysky noble 4 or nb4 transmitter and the receivers are super affordable… I have 8 channels on my trx4 2021 bronco… you should look into it, spektrum receivers are very expensive
I would suggest checking out Flysky for radios, pretty solid for less money than the Spektrum stuff. I have one of each and the build quality and functionality are equal. Though the Spektrum is a 4 channel and the Flysky is a 10 channel for an up coming snow plow build. The Pacific northwest is a beautiful place to go do anything outdoors.
I never knew there was so much to rc cars/crawlers/bashers I'm more into planes. An affordable tx Spektrum compatible dsmx/dsm2 option I've found is Orangerx from Hobbyking, about half the price of Spektrum. You mentioned your truck isn't waterproofed yet, what's involved with that? Is it a matter of sealing the vehicle with some kind of caulk or do you conformal coat the electronics? You did an amazing job with the kit and your upgrades, your footage looked like a full scale jeep! Amazing!
@@RCGirl I'll keep that in mind planning on buying the FliteTest Widgeon and as a seaplane I'll be flying off lake Washington, I'll coat the internal organs & try not to crash. Hello RC girl. I watched a bunch of your videos and made the decision to purchase same truck. Here in Canada is cost about 650 dollars.
