    I've probably built about a dozen RC kits in my life and I am rarely impressed by someone else's work but this build is something like I've never see. I aspire to be able to build kits at half the level of this man. Very impressive.

    That's the greatest rc build I've seen ever. The best part was, no deflections in any of the wheels/tires when it was rolling. That rc must drive like a dream!
    Well done and inspiring as well.

      @@MechanicAfterHours your video shows you picking the hardwares out of small boxes. Are those separate from the actual kit?
      I have never built any RC just always just gotten RTR's, but you made it look so professional. I have picked up so many techniques from just watching you!

    • @MechanicAfterHours
      @MechanicAfterHours  2 роки тому +1

      Thanks! The kit comes with the proper screws but I didn't use them as I have some stainless ones that I decided to use instead. This build has a number of aftermarket mods (gears and parts). But, I always put the parts in labeled plastic containers-just makes it more organized and faster at least for myself. Good luck if you ever build a kit, just take your time!

    Use red and green WISS aviation snips on the lexan bodies and you wont have to cut it into pieces. Works like a hot knife through butter. I used to do the same struggle as you until I found out about the Wiss technique. Nice build my man. KUTGW. Cheers from CDA

      Thanks, Para Scale Models! And thanks for the advice on using those WISS aviation snips. I do have WISS snips and another that's like the aviation ones but eventually found the score and snap method easier, at least with the way I do it. I'd love to watch a video of someone demonstrating/using the WISS aviation snips on lexan RC bodies, especially intricate ones. How do you manage the deep curves and details with those snips? They seem rather large?

    Hi Mechanic After Dark. This is a very inspiring build. The finished product is absolutely stunning. The details are a work of art. Always like to read your Description and motivations behind the builds. Plus your gloves are cool 😎. Take care!
