Hi, thanks for watching and the for the comment. It stays sticky. With the beeswax in such a small amount and the other liquid oils it stays the consistency of a stirred hard balm or vaseline like. Even once it was getting low the concoction would settle on the bottom and we used it all the way up. I will say this is a gloss that we had to apply several times daily which I personally enjoy better than the sticky gel gloss that lasts longer. But I love all glosses. I am planning to do another post with weights for instructional purposes.

Uzuri Zamani but glossy isnt hard or anything like vaseline though.... i think what was meant by the question is that whether it’ll be in its liquid/versagel form overtime or whether it’ll be hard. Bcos once it hardens, its no longer a gloss
The consistency is a little stiffer than Versagel. It’s not so gel-like. More pasty but the end result , when applied is still glossy. I have seen some glosses that are fluid like in the tube when too many oils or too much oil has been added. Even when I make gloss with Versagel it’s squeezable but not runny. If you flip it , it does not move and additives such as glitter don’t settle. I sell my products in several stores for juveniles and adult women. The natural and the Versagel. My natural gloss isn’t quite as smooth as Versagel but people actually prefer it because it’s easier to flavor and tastes way better. It’s not just a scented gloss but it tastes so good. That’s the comment we always get. That’s because the natural gloss well flavoring is a whole other video. But LorAnns isn’t made to just pour in, it’s a process otherwise it will separate. My natural lipgloss base must be reapplied a few times daily because it’s natural. It absorbs unlike Versagel. It’s actually nourishing to the lips , prevent chapped lips, makes lips soft protects from cold. The wax is a humectant and draws moisture to your lips. The warm of our body softens the gloss as it’s applied. It works fine even if applied once to do its job of protecting and nourishing, but for aesthetics and glossy appearance it must be reapplied. It’s like a balm but in the form of a gloss. I apologize I keep trying to setup a time to do another video with weights and measurements but I’m an ICU RN and COVID-19 has me working double OT. But in the next video I will do an application right after and apply a day after then a few days later and show the consistency each time . Thanks for responding, watching and for your question. Hi , you could use cocoa butter. It would make it a tad stiffer so I'd decrease the beeswax. I am going to post another video soon with the correct amounts to add soon. I meant to have it up by now. Given all the oils and butters used and the addition of vitamin E oil it can last well up to a year and possibly longer. I doubt it would last that long though! It’s wonderful for winter months ahead. Because it is all natural it does require a few re-applications through out the day! Even once the shine is gone it still leaves the lips soft moisture rich and supple!

Hey sorry we haven’t posted much of anything. I’m the matriarch here on this YT Browns All Around and I working 6 to 7 days a week due to COVID 19. When did you add the vitamin E oil?
After it’s cooled. I’m sorry I can’t remember exactly when but I also add nutrient rich additives after the batch has cooled! Thanks for the question!
Hello :) What's the life shelf on the lip gloss if you dont add additives?
Jessica Garcia the shelf life considering the ingredients I’d say is approximately 18 months to be on the safe side as long as not introduced to water. It usually doesn’t last nearly that long. Good experiment though! I may try and report back. Thanks for your question!
Considering the shelf life of all the ingredients and only a natural preservative, I would go with around 18 months if you are wanting to make large batching for keeping. It’s a great base and should keep well in an air tight container. You can melt and re-melt. Keep the base without color and re-melt and add different colors and flavor oils! Hope this helps!
if i wanted a clear lipgloss what would I change?
Hi, just don’t add the colorant or add a small amount of liquid colorant. The liquid colorant would tint the gloss but it wouldn’t show up on your lips. The gloss will go on clear but would be opaque in the tube. It wouldn’t look clear but it will go on clear and it always for some reason plumps my already large lips lol.

Hi thanks for the comment! It’s more pasty than sticky consistency. I tell people just play with it make the recipe your own! It’s lasts forever I still have some from this batch no kidding and it looks great on still yet! It’s not at all like Versatel. More like a stirred soft balm but goes on like glass. We love it.

Sassylipgloss stays sticky ! Really, it’s a pasty consistency like Vaseline. I am going to repost . Aka do another video with amounts better suited for instructional use. But you could also formulate yourself and get the consistency of your liking. That’s actually what we were doing here. Formulating. And this is the one we kept as a digital recipe. Even though pasty it went on smooth. We make lipgloss with Versatel also. Soon we will post a very informative video about that. This was a natural alternative for our customers that wanted an all natural base. We will soon explore an all natural and vegan 🌱 friendly formulation. Thanks for watching and for your question!
