Alot of people commenting about the use of Mica. If it's a problem you could switch out and use rosehip oil as one of the oils you use. It leaves a pigmented peachy/orange colour and you get the benefits with using rosehip as well.
Thank you for that helpful information. I was caught off guard by the mica situation because I never knew about the controversy. I appreciate you for offering an alternative solution for those who are uncomfortable with using mica. 💜

You can also use saffron essential oil. Saffron (Kesar) Oil is known to have skin brightening and lightening properties and can help to promote skin texture that giving the skin a natural glow. It is also an excellent moisturizer and skin conditioner.
Hey guys, just wanted to let you all know that I’ve been using this body butter for two months now and it is amazing!!!! My skin has totally transformed 😭😭😭😭
I would make some mango orange peach scented whipped body butter. That sounds amazing and I have very dry skin and patchy skin but that would really help!
Since I have eczema I would make a oatmeal cream or butter or an calming tea tree and green tea butter i love your videos they calm my sensitive skin for less!🥰💸
Although Mica is a natural substance, I would be careful when supporting brands supplying Mica because it’s unfortunately tied to child mining labor in some countries.
I'm trying this today!! I had a small amount of cocoa butter so I added that and I used sunflower oil since it was the cheapest, most non-comedogenic oil I could get. It's sitting in the fridge right now and I am so excited to see how it turns out!!
A Tablespoon of witch hazel before you whip it will also help with shelf stability. I’ve also made homemade neosporin and I whipped it til it was cold and it made a nice fluffy texture. I wonder if that would work with this recipe too.
Adding the time it took to whip would have been helpful. I almost thought I did something wrong because it took so long to it whip. Edited to add: after watching a few other people’s videos I just put it back in the freezer until almost fully solid, and then whipped it for 10 minutes. I also added some cornstarch to cut down on the greasiness.
Dear Yaya, I have watched many body butter videos here on youtube and let me tell you that most are not good. I tried this mango butter and I love it. I have given it to my sisters to try and they love it too. I have altered it slightly to make it my own but overall the recipe is still the same. I did add a preservative. Thank you so much.
Ghetto Genuis Awww! This tickled me! 😂😂😂 Cute, but yes I understand the caution when it comes to kids. My son is four now and he loves to dig into my product and put it on his face even if it’s for his hair. So, I try to make sure everything is safe for hair and skin lol.
This looks great, amazing, and lush. I love the whisk hand blender method as it is more convenient in comparison to the other hand blender. It great to know how the oil ratio will determine how silky your batch turns out. Absolutely in love with your procedure and professionalism!! Go girl!!👏🏾👏🏾🖤✨
I tried this with Shea and Mango butter. Both were way too greasy for my liking. I also tried this recipe with Tucuma butter and for some reason that one wasn’t oily at all. It also absorbed into my skin almost immediately. This was all experimental. I wanted to see how the different butters would react. I must say Tucuma is now one of my favorites. At least for my skin…
So I just decided to make MY OWN body butter with Shea and Mango butter with black seed oil and fragrance but using the color is new so I will add to my creation. Thank you so much for this easy DIY method even for a guy.
I recently purchased unrefined mango butter and it definitely has a smell. Shea is nutty but mango butter is stronger (at least to me). I was trying to go all organic and unrefined with my products but I’ll have to go with the refined mango butter. I learnt that refined is not always bad lol🤷🏾♀️😂
I bought your Chebe Butter for my hair. Loved it so much, I got 2 more jars that same week! I'd love to make this body butter for one of my daughters but she is allergic to shea products. What would you suggest as a substitute for that butter and the amount to use? Also, I'm 68 and normally when I comb my hair, I will loose about the amount of a small cotton ball on a daily basis and my hair is thin because of that. The first time I combed my hair after using the butter, I lost 2 hairs! The same thing the next day. That was why I got two more jars! My hair is glossy, stronger, does not shed even after shampooing and has beautiful curls/ringlets in it. I put it on my scalp also. There was no dandruff or itching. I believe if I'd used the powder and not the oil in the butter, I may have had a problem with dandruff. I will continue to buy your product as long as you sell it because I'm just too lazy to make my own! One last thing, I gave away 7 other hair butter/creams and now use just your Chebe butter. It does everything the other products were supposed to do. So I'm saving money by not buying those other items. Have a BLESSED week!
Mary Stewart Thank you for your purchase! 🙏🏽😊 I am glad you enjoyed the products. A great substitute would be Tamanu and/Murumuru butter. They are both super soft butters that will give you a lotion-like, creamy body butter. Tacuma and Cupuacu butter are also great substitutes. I hope this helps 😊💜
@@YayaDIYCreations - I've got Tamanu oil, it smells a bit... green, kinda herby like oregano or basil, and maybe a bit grassy? I got it to add to my face oil for acne and gave some to my daughter but she couldn't get past the smell, even tho it doesn't linger. It didn't bother me tho. She said she got the jars from Amazon the first time around. I'm not sure, if she switched for the second batch. There are some vendors for people who have a business and it's definitely more economical with more choices to purchase in bulk.
Hello Yaya, I have a question? How do you ensure the body butter doesn't melt in the container after it solidifies? BTW great recipe, thank you for sharing! I will try to replicate with a twist soon!

Hii! Thank you so much for sharing this! It looks delicious Ill definitely try it. I am wondering what would happen if you add turmeric as a colorant..
I get huge tubs of Shea butter when I go to ghana 🇬🇭
The DIY label was BRILLIANT!! I’m like I really don’t want to purchase more sizes but I have plenty of shipping labels! Thank you! 💕👏🏾
How do you know exactly how much of each ingredient to add?
I love this recipe!! My only problem is with Texas heat, in transporting my container in and out of the car, it turns to melted soup. is there something that can be added to stabilize it?
YAYA, Thank you so much for everything you showed me. I made them and they came out perfectly fine. May God bless you. Thanks again.
I'll try this minus the colour. Thanks for sharing. ❤️
Love your videos, so simple, unassuming, unpretentious, and so so so good! Your voice is so relaxing and thank you for not putting abrasive background music haha!! Subbed after bingeing your videos!
Thank you I made it this morning and I believe I could have left it in the freezer a little longer but its really nice and feels great.
Viva Habbit Van Assen I made it also today , how does it smell ?
Best thing to watch when you’re high 🤯🤯🤯📌
M 😩😂😂😂
Really ?!😂😂😂
FAX
I’m so happy that you added the fact that you made your label with your thermal printer! About to buy my printer now and I was wondering if I would be able to make product labels with them!
That butter looks amazing! Where do you buy your jars and spoons from?
She said she got the jars from Amazon the first time around. I'm not sure, if she switched for the second batch. There are some vendors for people who have a business and it's definitely more economical with more choices to purchase in bulk.
Cerise Rose Yup Amazon. 😊 When I buy in bulk, I order from a different vendor 💜
@@YayaDIYCreations hi!!!! I love your recipe!! 😘 all the way from New York! Curious to know where you buy your butters in bulk.
Amazing, amazing product. I live in a country where temperatures can go as high as 37°C. Will this melt?
Is it smooth enough to go inside of a bottle with a pump?
Hello Yaya, I have a question?
How do you ensure the body butter doesn't melt in the container after it solidifies?
BTW great recipe, thank you for sharing! I will try to replicate with a twist soon!
Yes please show how to create labels ! Yours turned out so beautiful
Did you know where the brand got the Mica from ? I think if this is all about nature and organic it has to be safe. If you hear about kids slaves finding mica underground. But nice recipe )
Would this recipe be dispensed well using a lotion bottle like with a pump? And yes please show us the labels! Keep the content coming. Thank you 🙏🏾
Yes please do a label video. Thanks
Sharon Edge-HARLEY Will do 😊
Hi, Yaya my dear, thank you so much for sharing your time, wonderful videos and recipes.
Hello gorgeous! Noticed you added mica. Please look into the mining history of mica before you purchase a new batch of it. There's a really good docu on UA-cam about it.
Nichole D Thank you! I have been recently made aware of this. I will definitely do some research and talk about it and I started the doc on it😊💜

Lil. Ms.J Anytime 😊💜 And thanks for the tip 👌🏽
Can I use avocado 🥑 oil that I use for cooking in this recipe and same for coconut oil? I have both already in my cooking cupboard. I’m on a tight budget. 😊
