I have literally never been so jealous in my entire life. But at the same time, I can’t feel any negative emotion while watching this video! What a beautiful experience 😭
As a person living in America, the politeness and quiet almost makes me want to cry. Why can't we be more kind and more quiet? Everything is rude, rush, and noise. No wonder we can't sleep and have so much stress.

Honestly, I think that is the best and most relaxing part of ASMR Twix’s videos I enjoy so much ❤ - you truly can feel the care that goes into each massage, and that is wonderful 😊

They do get paid very well, they also take pride in everything they do. If you went to a McDonald's in Japan your hamburger would look exactly like the picture in a magazine.
The most calming thing is when they talk. They talk really slow and soft, I feel like I’m falling asleep and relaxing + the water in the background really makes it even better. 100% would try this myself if I travel to Japan. 🤩 amazing work💛
As a curly hair girl I got so much anxiety from watching the vigorous shampooing. It would be so good for a clean scalp but dayum the knots I would get from that 😅 But in saying it would still be worth it hahaha
I have thick hair and it would take a lot of time for me to wash my scalp by myself since neither water or shampoo wants to touch my scalp, unless i water and shampoo for like an hour.
OMG why am I crying?? There's so much emotion that I literally cannot describe being released. She looks like she's in heaven! I feel it and I'm not even there!
@@Mylifestoriesmaybe that’s a good question because I don’t. I’m afraid of drowning and I’ve tried once when I was younger and I’m traumatized so yeah :)
@@loser8823 me too! actually just last summer i did almost drown so now i’m terrified of swimming. if you don’t mind me asking, how do you bathe or shower?
@@user-mf3lm3sy3n Normally, I just like to put a towel or something around to protect my ears. I can drink water and shower normally but I just cannot do swimming or like dunk my head in water.
I love that they say "Please take care of me." And you respond with, "Please take care of me too." It establishes respect and reminds people that you are dealing with a human with emotions, not some service robot. It's compassionate and respectful, something that is often lacking in the service industry in the United States.
It's a generic phrase that is exchanged everyday when starting a process. It's the same with how people keep saying "sorry" all the time in the UK when it doesn't necessarily means apologies
For me, some oil on scalp is not bad. It’s actually healthier to have an oilier scalp than a dry scalp. Especially for me, my hair is curly, so I don’t wash my hair everyday and try to moisturize my hair a lot, especially in winter. But a good cleansing shampoo is good to get every once in a while.
i don't wash my hair every 2-3 days, i just got rebonded my hair because it was very dry and messy. my co-worker told me that how can i stay my hair like it was new rebonded but i cannot tell her that i dont wash my hair for 2-3 days bcos of stigma that if u dont wash your hair u dont take a bath (which is not true, i took half bath in the days which i cannot wash my hair) and also my landlady asked me what did i apply to my hair to look so shiny. it is really true that u dont need to wash your hair everyday.
I would either love this or be one of the absolute worst customers on accident-not because I’d be rude on purpose but I am a very fidgety individual so they’d be like “okay we’re gonna do this thing hold still” and I’d just be already squirming…
I am a german hairstylist and I am amazed how many things are equal in our „normal“ head massages in the daily salon treatment (3-5 minutes hair washes) and a lot of things that they say we also learn in hair scool in germany really interessting to see. But they of course are a lot more relaxing. (Sorry if I write something wrong)
@snxwhyte I'm from Missouri too and yes lol the US doesn't do much else than wash your hair quickly, cut, style, go. I wish it was more common to have at least a quick scalp massage or something:'(
God I need this so bad. I have a really large head so there's a lot of tension in my skin, especially in my forehead, temples, and scalp. This would relax me so much.
I love the way they have their salon setup. The shampoo bowl is way accessible for massaging, cleaning and rinsing the scalp. Our salons here in the US should try it this way. It’s harder on the back while trying to work on the scalp at the bowl, since you have to bend from the side of the bowl instead of the back of the bowl. It makes more since working from the back of the scalp and work on it fully. Plus your not bending over the customers face while working on the scalp.
That might just be where you are, most places I've gotten my hair done they are on the back of the bowl not the side. My girl is always looking at me upside down when she's washing my hair lol
God I hated having to shampoo from the side, clients are literally looking into my armpit. Being behind is best, everything is symmetrical plus if you have to do a lot of work you can pull up a stool and sit so you don't have to lean over so much
The Japanese are so fond of cleanliness and perfection from what I see in their culture… I see why so many Japanese immigrants start running hair and nail salons, this is definitely a huge huge business in Japan. I would pay so much money for this, they need to come and do this over in the US. Okay not even gonna lie I’m so jealous of the girl who got to have this experience 😭
I loved how unusually loud the curling iron was. The crackly crunch sounds were so odd for an iron but so tingly!! I loved it, sounded like cracked egg shells. 41:20
Thank you so so much, not only this helps with my insomnia at night but it is also a great resource to keep myself focused while working from home when my hyperactive mind struggles to concentrate on a task without checking my phone every minute - so, thank you ♥️ I also wonder whether the sister recording the videos ever gets pampered with a treatment herself? Because she definitely deserves it!!! ✨🧚🏻♀️
They do simple head massages in most hair salons in Japan and I love it, but visiting them overwhelms my socially-awkward, anxious ass so it's great I get to experience the relaxation from the comfort of my home.
Haha you made me laugh when you said "I often get my scalp cleaned really good at SPAs but imagine yours lol" 😂😂😂 the laughing helped me relax. I live somewhere with hard water so my scalp is probably covered in build-up!
I'm a man with no hair and sooooo wish I did. This looks absolutely amazing. Great work documenting the process. Her voice is just so soothing and calm. My goodness!
Omg, I've been watching this video for almost 20min and I'm in love. My aunts, mom and grandmother would probably fly to Japan tomorrow if we could for this. And also spend UNGODLY amounts of money for it. FANTASTIC. I got relaxed watching the 1st 10min... one day.....we will go. ❤💕 We need this here.
I have never much complained about my hair loss and most of the times see the bright sides of it. This video however made me cry because I am missing out on all the relaxing and amazing hair pampering opportunities! thank you for the video! I'm still tingling all over!
Honestly, like 70% of what they said about ‘cleansing’ and whatnot sounded like crap, but man, I’d sooo pay for this. This looks like it would be like the most relaxing experience of my life lmaooo.

First of all the person who does this needs a long training course. Just opening a shop and taking Japanese instruments, care products and equipment will achieve nothing.

wow I love how she speak so softly and the fact she is speaking Japanese makes the whole asmr thing really enjoyable. And for someone who uses different hair sprays and a ton of conditioner, leaving a little bit left in to make my hair soft during the day, I can't imagine what my scalp would look like. I would definitely fall asleep within the first 15 minutes ong
I already fell asleep 5 times watching this... In the best way. I let go of all my stress and just focused on this vid and their soft, pleasant voices... Anything that has to do with the scalp, is heavenly 🤍
Japanese are so perfect in everything they do, and they make it look so easy, too. Here is Europe the salon would make a song and a dance out of this service, and yet Japanese are doing it as something so natural. I am not surprised they are so advanced.
Can we talk about how all of them are bending over constant steam and warm water, and still have their mask over their nose the entire time, and are somehow not sweating like crazy. I'd have sweat literally dripping down my face, I couldn't do it 🤣
@@evieanne407 actually it's mostly due a difference in the type of sweat gland (there are two types and east Asian people generally have more of the kind that people from other parts of the world have less of) The sweat produced isn't as preferred to odor causing bacteria and so deodorant isn't widely worn or necessary. Its just considered good hygiene practice to wear a mask if you're working close to someone else's face, also the pandemic of course.

I take it back I can absolutely watch this entire video it's very hypnotic. It puts you in a trance a state of deep relaxation I was not expecting that! Thank you!
This place is amazing that looks so relaxing! Makes me wish i had long hair but I imagine you can still get treatment as a guy with short hair. The magnification of the scalp is fascinating
Theory: the scalp is exactly the same before and after. Before they use a magnifier with a green light. So it "looks" dirty. After they use a magnifier with white light. So it "looks" clean.
Just a request to anyone who is in charge. Can you please make the seating position of the employees such that it is comfortable for them as well. Like raise the massage beds a little higher so that the head is in a neutral position ( neither too low nor too high) for the masseuse ❤️
I wish I could fall asleep somewhere else besides my bed, the way you did in the second video. This looks like an exception 😆 I wish I could find something like this in America. 😭
I can’t fall asleep in bed either 😂 I wish we had it in the uk too. You can occasionally find it in fancy places in say London. But I’d need to save up for 3 years first 😀🤣
@@lilacscentedfushias1852 no no what I wrote meant I can't fall asleep anywhere else besides my bed. My wife on the other hand can fall asleep on a plane, or a bus, etc. in like 10 minutes. 😆

Her hair def look denser and have tht healthy glow than before after each treatments. Damn we need the head spa culture spread all over the globe!!!!!
Me toooo. Never wash ur hair everyday.
i don't wash my hair every 2-3 days, i just got rebonded my hair because it was very dry and messy. my co-worker told me that how can i stay my hair like it was new rebonded but i cannot tell her that i dont wash my hair for 2-3 days bcos of stigma that if u dont wash your hair u dont take a bath (which is not true, i took half bath in the days which i cannot wash my hair) and also my landlady asked me what did i apply to my hair to look so shiny. it is really true that u dont need to wash your hair everyday.

But they of course are a lot more relaxing.
(Sorry if I write something wrong)

Can we talk about how all of them are bending over constant steam and warm water, and still have their mask over their nose the entire time, and are somehow not sweating like crazy. I'd have sweat literally dripping down my face, I couldn't do it 🤣
Japanese people actually don’t sweat much, it’s why their deodorants are much lighter.
