Time to curate your wardrobe; all that stuff is overwhelming and think how much stuff you have to manage. I purge or sold a lot of stuff, and is so liberating.
Hi Niki I’m pretty new to your community Hi 👋😊! Thank you for dropping this content because boy did I need a BIG reminder! Love love your fur babies 🐶🐶🩷🩷!!
Hi Monica, I've reached out to you for the giveaway for the horse bag. Sorry you missed my last few video! I had to move on to the next winner. My Corgis are my pride and joy! Even over my purses!
Here I am!! I'm so excited I won!!! I'm trying to access instagram but it's not cooperating at the moment!!! Oh dear! I use my real name on there too but I'll keep trying.
Lipsticks are my no buy for this year 🙅🏻♀️ and up to now, none purchased. I swatched all I had and the majority are so similar in shade it’s laughable. I did a type of #projectpan with perfume and now I only buy 2 regularly (a summer and a winter signature one which are only replaced when empty) but allow myself a 10ml new one for each of those seasons too. Bags are a low buy too. It’s hard!
Thanks for sharing this list I agree with most of it. I am also guilty of buying too many coats. Mostly the north face. I live in Ohio so it’s justified. I will wear a coat before I use a handbag. I actually do wear all of the coats. I have 20 plus coats all for different seasons. I’m not allowed to buy anymore clothes (business casual). I work in a hospital. I wear scrubs every day. I don’t socialize so buying clothes for me is pointless.
💯 coats are a necessity when you live in the cold ass winter. I tried north face, mackage, Patagonia. Nothing is as warm as a Canada goose when walking around bone chilling wind in downtown Chicago. Now I'm in Nashville. Not sure what to do with my coats lol Yes I have so many suits too. But now I just wear a stretch black dress and throw a blazer over. Lazy girl business casual lol Thanks for sharing!
Ha, it's like you read my mind! Every single one of these is something I've told myself, enough is enough! Hoping second part of 2024 is a low-buy for real. Plus bags .... no more bags so I can save up for the one I actually want!
I've had to limit myself on some of these things too. For awhile I was tempted by wanting to "stock up" when there are sales, but then I just end up with way too many things I forget about or don't use quickly. Reading Marie Kondo's book helped me a bit with that and just replenishing when I need to.
Ah I’m the same! I have 2 vases that I’ve got my lipsticks/glosses in. Opened and unopened and both are full! 🙈 and the same with perfume but I have a rule that I finish one and then I’m allowed to open a new one and there has to be a special reason to purchase a new perfume ie birthday, Christmas or special milestone event
@@Somehowadulting yeah vases! Means I can also see more easily as they are clear where the one I want is and I’m not having to dump everything out in the bathroom/on my bed 🤣🤣 but a vase for used/using and a vase for unused is getting a BIT excessive!
It was shocking to hear you have 50 coats. I'm in agreement with you about the categories not to spend more money on. I just ordered a wool cashmere coat from Cuyana, but I live in Toronto, not California now, and I'm starting from a base of 5, not 50, and 3 of the 5 don't fit me anymore because they're from 8-15 years ago, and I'm keeping them around just in case I lose weight and fit back into them in the future. Though I have a smaller stash of lipsticks and skincare, I'm also planning to work through them before my next shopping spree with Sephora. I will need sunscreen before any other products in skincare, and I'm debating from time to time whether I should try an untinted one that can go anywhere or another tinted sunscreen. Right now I'm using ILIA's foundation with SPF, niacinamide, and HA most often, and I also have Tula tinted sunscreen that's easier to squeeze on my face and spread. The one thing I have more than you is perfumes, because I keep mine in shade and in their cardboard boxes and find that the scents do still appeal to me over a longer period of time whether or not they're exactly the same as when opened for the first time. I've had some Guerlain, Chanel, Hermes fragrances for many a year and still really enjoy the scent. It's the cheapies like Dossier that morph more with time. Nevertheless, I will be the first one to say I don't need any more perfume, because most days I neglect to wear any perfume. I will spritz them on when celebrating it getting myself into a mood. It's a lot of money saved whenever you're doing a no-buy in any category, money you could invest in an actual investment.
To be fair. I did live in Chicago for 18 years. I have about 4 true winter coats including the 3 Canada goose jackets. The rest are more fall/spring coats. I might have exaggerated. If I really count it's probably around 30. Now that I live in Nashville I won't need the winter coats much anymore. My first Canada goose I've worn to death for almost 8 years? Yea skin care I buy directly from Korea. I don't shop Sephora. So over priced. Check out my skincare video. The one thing I don't really spend money is make up..I don't own eye shadow or eyeliner etc. 80% of the time I don't wear make up but I do glob on sunscreen like it's my job. Glad this video reasonated with you. I'm calling myself out 😂 yes. I make sure traditional investments such as retirement and real estate are all set before I blow money on other things.
@@Somehowadulting I guess I've never bought skincare products from Korea directly, I've tried a couple Korean products from Costco but didn't find them effective. To be honest, I've only started caring for my skin this year after I discovered a dark spot and after watching a bunch of Dr. Idriss videos I always read the ingredients list before I buy anything. I can't imagine understanding what ingredients are in the product if I'm buying directly from Korea. I also don't really wear makeup. Not a morning person and don't care to spend a lot of time putting product on my face. I use a tinted sunscreen for foundation, and that's pretty much it. Lipstick or lip gloss is the fastest way to put a little something on and look like I made at least some minimal elder. I would do eye makeup more if my eyes weren't so sensitive. Even with mineral makeup and specially formulated eye creams, I tear up after applying SPF.
Yes, we own way too much stuff. But I do love owning stuff I won, like the adorable Ginger bag from The Horse. Thanks again, Nikki, for your 3000 subs giveaway!😍🌻
That's a good idea and yes we do that between my bf and I. We yell at each other for stinking up the bathroom then proceed to spray perfume into the bathroom 😂
I edited my first comment on here. Is that what you meant?? I'm not able to reply to my original instagram message. I think you have to do something for me to be able to. ?? I'm going to send you an email. Mine is a yahoo email.

Yes I will have to at some point. First step to recovery is to recognize you have a problem. Then stop. Then purge lol
I can relate the same with the nails polish and home decor🥹 by the way your fur little ones are so cute🥰✨
We all have our vices 😂 yes my Corgis are total brats but totally adorable

I always pick up a pastel pink variation nail polish in cvs, can’t help myself 😂
Girl me toooo I have since then stopped.

You should be proud of yourself. I am like that with my perfume. Like how many variety of perfumes do you really need?

You’re an Adult!!👏👏👏👏👏
I will forever be a child. ❤️
Q!!! always happy to see the fur babies ❤️
Shes my baby 😚 I love seeing all fur babies!
I had no idea about perfumes having an expiring date! :0
Yea I didn't know either! It doesn't make it toxic or anything. It just changes the smell of what it's supposed to be.
Ha, it's like you read my mind! Every single one of these is something I've told myself, enough is enough! Hoping second part of 2024 is a low-buy for real. Plus bags .... no more bags so I can save up for the one I actually want!
That's smart! Definitely get your dream bag. I do not have a low buy on bags as I do have a bag channel. Lol plus bags bring me lots of joy.
@Somehowadulting makes total sense! I want an older LV Speedy B 25 in Damier Ebene and even preloved, it's ... a lot.

Yes forgetting you have the stuff is a real thing. I actually enjoy forgetting I put cash around the house. Like ooh found 20 bucks! I'm rich! Lol

You’re blessed with abundance! 🌈
I definitely am! I also worked hard for all these things.
Hi Niki great video since watching I’m sitting here thinking of all the things I need to stop buying 😑 😆 💚💚
Thanks Craig! Haha we all need reminders sometimes
Thanks for sharing!
Can you please tell me the brand of the pink toiletry case or the name inside!?
Really enjoy your vlogs :)
Girl lol I got that almost 20 years ago from a giveaway from Lancome. Sorryyy

Glad you won!
Shout out for the Tom Ford! ❤💋
Thanks to you!!!
Bed linen is my poison 😅 (and the same list as yours) haha
Bed linen? That's a new one. You must have a million pillows on your bed too? 😂
@@Somehowadulting haha 🤫
Lip products, nail polish, boots, fragrance. Like you, I find wearing fragrance annoying after the first hour. My nose gets tired of the scent.
Boots lol I have two pairs of cowboy boots. I want more..do I need more? No lol
Glossier is “gloss-ee-yay” and Dossier is “doss-ee-yay” FYI
Sounds good
I love your corgie! I feel that way about my pug
Mother of pugs!
Use old parfum for room spray or bathroom spray😂
That's a good idea and yes we do that between my bf and I. We yell at each other for stinking up the bathroom then proceed to spray perfume into the bathroom 😂
I don't like the lip glow either, i like my chanel and hermes better, i am also just using the lip glow up because it's expensive
Yes same! I don't like how sticky it is. My hair gets stuck to my lips
