It works perfectly fine to the extent done here, stop crying. If you had done it yourself, you'd know that a metal screwdriver won't hurt the Dualsense if the user has half a brain.

That’s because the tip is sharp that’s what it’s damaging it so I usually use a butter knife on its tip since it’s usually full therefore making it safe

A flat push staple remover worked best for me to wedge into that gap. It's thin, strong and the edges aren't sharp like a flat-head screwdriver so there's far less chance of scratching the plastic.
