Same issue. I thought call of duty was too demanding on the triggers but its happening when people play any game.
Same it happened to me today and I always kept my controller clean kept it good and for some reason my r2 feels like so loose
I have the same exact problem. I've had the controller since launch day and everything was fine up until now. Hopefully this will be covered by the warranty.
Mine has a right analogy stick drift. At first the camera view would jerk to the side by a little bit, but now the camera view just spins forever, unless I press the R3 button rapidly many times. It’s at a point where it makes playing a game virtually impossible.
Same thing happened to me on the right trigger tonight, so frustrating cause it’s only been a little bit from launch
I’ll never forget buying a $70 ps4 controller that got stick drift in 30 minutes! They need to be sued bruhh they just want use buying new controllers
Have you gotten to the sticky X, square, circle, or triangle buttons? After playing Spiderman Mile Morales for about a week the square button sticks and has less spring/feedback now and really interrupts the flow of combos on that game. Also, the R1 button seems slow to respond too but the button instead physically is ok just the in-game feedback seems slow.
Anyone have a squeaky/stuck dpad is it just me needing to break in to the pad or a faulty pad cos I play tekken and it's gettin annoying hitting misinputs
Dualsense has major issues. Used controller for 3 days and now the R2 trigger has significantly less resistance than the L2 trigger. It's impossible to play games with it now because it's overly sensitive and will activate at the slightest touch. Great controller, horrible build quality.
Same problem here. 7 days of use. I took the controller to the store and they told me to contact Sony since they are out of stock.

I have the same issue but i opened mine up and found out what has happened the spring has snapped and i have ordered a few new ones as i put a ps4 spring in for the time being but needs better spring but yeah

have the same problem here, i was playing ac valhalla and the r2 stop working properly
i bought the controller 2 days ago but i don't have the ps5 so i'm using it without adaptive triggers, it's working fine so far but i feel like it could break with the adaptive triggers.
The exact same thing happened with mine. I noticed it when playing destiny 2 and was constantly firing my weapon by accident.
Same happened with me. I was playing Days gone and I know it doesn’t have the trigger effect but I noticed it was incredibly loose. Like I could rest my left thing on L2 and it would just stay but if I tried to rest or on R2 it would just push in so easy. R2 still works but there is no tension to it anymore.
Got mine on Black Friday and my r2 button is loose as of today
Same thing happened here noticed when playing Days Gone my bike would randomly stop and I noticed I was barely holding L2 and it would be braking it sucks
It has happened to me now I was playing call of duty zombies and now the trigger is all soggy 👎
