My aim for this one was to try create a productivity video that had some practical next steps and some mindset stuff, but didn't leave you feeling like shit for not being productive enough 😘 Anyway, thanks for watching and lmk what topic you wanna see next! P.s. there's a scammer in these comments pretending to be me. Report them I guess?
Please make a video about decision making. I always ask others about which one is better to do. Then I'll end up blaming them when things go wrong. Thank you struthless!❤
Love it, so many productivity tips leave me feeling like a garbage human that feeds on laziness. Watching this whilst rocking my daughter to sleep, this video has made my day. Now to put her in the cot without waking her and smash out some tasks.
I love that the advice you present always has the caveat of "hey, remember you're still human, don't go overboard if you can't handle it." which is so important, and needs to be said more often!! What stood out to me the most was when you said, "the rigidity of this hack just gets in the way of life" and that's exactly what stops me, and I'm sure many people, from actually committing to long-term habits. Well said, all around!!
I did a diet plan that had a component of “if you break the diet, be kind to yourself, don’t worry at all, just hop back on tomorrow or even the next day and keep going”. That pressure release valve helped me lose 30lbs.
I’ve recently rewatched your older videos where you mention you’d like to have kids one day and it warms my little heart to hear you now talk about spending time with your daughter :)
notes for me 1) Do task or do nothing within the allotted time 2) Use tetris to remove extra unnecessary thoughts. Might kinda be like meditating. Can be used for a break 3) Use music cues which play only for when you're working. Maybe try listening to "deep minimal techno" 4) Use a physical system to track your progress so accomplishments feel more satisfying 5) At the end of each day make a list of what you did. List what went will and not so well and why they happened. Minimize things which caused bad things, maximize things which caused good things
Yep, my brain can't take too many great ideas at once. Any other advice from someone else I'd soon zoom out. I'd remember if it was like 1/5 but it's every bloody idea.
As someone with ADHD that has issues sticking to anything for the long term: thank you for wording them in a way that made them *your* personal hacks. What I mean is that you didn't make it seem like it works for everyone else and I never felt shame for having tried some of these but them not working out. Example: The coin thing wouldn't work for me because I would play with them and fidget. I have fidget toys though that help me stay focused (usually). It allowed me to see what I do for that kind of event and overlay it on mine. My boss will break down a task that is repetitive as individual items on our task system which allows me to "empty the cup" in a way that works for us.
Good comment! I too have ADHD and only found out 15 months ago (and had no idea before that, didn't even have ADHD on my radar) so am only learning bit by bit what works and what doesn't. I already suspect that most of the hacks in this video won't work for me, eg I run a mile when someone breaks down a big project into smaller steps to tick off. Ironically unlike you I think the coin one is prob the one that is most likely to work for me! So am going to try it today :) Will look out on this thread in case you update what else worked for you, as I'm really interested in hacks from my fellow peeps with neurodivergent brains. :)
@@rebecca_stone Don't get discouraged if a new method fizzles out for no reason. I love this so much! I have ADHD too, so what I love even more about what you wrote is you're not only highlighting the differences between what works for people, but you're highlighting that there are still big differences within people who are often clumped together (i.e. in some broad stroke ADHD bucket). @@struthless Been watching your videos for a while and found them super helpful. It is like having a cool friend who encourages me in a supportive way. The alpha male grindset videos are abundant but they do little in terms of long term change and motivation. Especially the 70 % rule was a game changer for me! Recently found out I have ADHD too, so I guess that is why your videos resonate so much with me. Meant to write this comment as the video came out but I got distracted because.. you know xD
First time ever I didn't feel like shit after watching a productivity hack video. All the ones I have seen so far just remind me of how unproductive I am and how I seem to never get out of the deep hole I'm in. But not struthless, you give me another new few things to try out, like actual realistic stuff. I really wish I could do the Neil method and book myself into a hotel. I have come to realize I am much more productive if I am not at home, but it's just so expensive to always go somewhere to write. Anyways, nevermind, another great video, and all the best for you, your newborn and the mama. Thanks for your videos! Many of them have really changed my life, especially the half-year-reset is 100% part of my life now!
When I was still working on my degree I found I could NOT work at home so I tried out the library and fell in love. Free and quiet (more so with headphones!)
I’m 63 and enjoyed the process of lifelong learning and self improvement. Almost all the techniques and processes have helped in some form or fashion. THIS video ranks extremely high in terms of possible gains vs. time spent. Thank you for the fantastic service you just provided. I’m going to watch again and take notes :-)
Haven’t been here for a very long while. Congratulations on the birth of your daughter. Yes it’s been that long. I am a 76 year old woman who is figuring out her last decades and when I discovered you on you tube, I just could not get enough. Got your very funky book and refer to it frequently. Congratulations on a life being well lived.
Out of all the productivity channels that are out there, yours is the one that always just seems to hit, right in my brain. I really appreciate what you said about remembering that you are a human. I find that this thought has helped me work towards my goals more than any other hack or system out there. It allows me to be reasonable and forgiving with myself. And if I want to do better, it's because I want, not because I feel like I have to.
Thanks for the good ideas. This 76-year-old Yank is checking out deep minimal techno. Love your videos and particularly your way of presenting. Excellent.
Really appreciate the no-fuss, down-to-earth take on productivity. You're making it so much more approachable, and the aesthetic is NEXT LEVEL! Keep it up!
Pretty sure your videos have changed my life. My days have become more structured and productive, my mindset has become more positive and through all of this I was offered my dream freelance job. So thank you. And congratulations on your daughter! How exciting! Thanks for continuing to put the time in to make these videos.
I absolutely love these videos. I really hope you continue them. As an adult who has struggled with undiagnosed adhd my whole life, I get hyperfocused on something, dump a bunch of money into a hobby or "passion" just to be done with it a few weeks later and accomplish essentially nothing. I will finally be getting properly diagnosed in September and these videos are a good way to prepare myself for when I can properly focus my attention on things I love. Thank you for these, they're wonderful. 🖤
I can't stress enough how much your videos have helped me just change the way I even think about my life!! And the quality/editing/aesthetics just keep getting better as well!! And even with such a title (no shame lol) you still always manage to talk about things that I would never think of trying because no one else has ever even mentioned them!! And every time I watch a video of yours I just get such a boost of happiness and well-being and even if I'm going through a rough patch your words make me be better with myself!!! I'm using so many exclamation marks because I need someone to understand how happy I am that I ever stumbled across struthless!!!!! gosh jolly
Re: productivity audit, I think it's important to remember that correlation does not equal causation. Was I more productive today because I didn't spend 4 hours on UA-cam or did I have more energy that allowed me to be productive and if I had locked away my phone on a less productive day, would that actually have changed anything? It's probably a bit of both. I had to learn that I just have better and worse days and the worse days don't really get much better if I just try to mimick how I behave on better days.
Never stop continuously making art work like whose amazing video content forms struthless, much love from FX from Austria. You will be colossal on YT if you need grinding and never stop creating “content”
You're one of the few people that I will see on the loop, click it (not just to bookmark it for someday), but then /actually watch it/ most if not all of the way through, sometimes more than once too... instead of just bookmarking it for someday or letting it sit in a tab for 6 months. I don't remember offhand which vid of yours exactly I ran into first, and I think it was recced from someone but it could have been on the loop from the vid that was recced... but now if I see something anywhere and I recognise your face or name on it, I'm 80% likely to actually sit down with it. I don't do that with any other creater. But so many of the things that I HAVE watched from you, have just changed my life. Plus been really calming and relatable and smart. You make it very real, but also achievable and also hopeful. I don't feel like I have to be my dream self to do it. I feel like just my hot messy self can still just do it. It really cuts thru all of the bs excuses in my mind and just gets me honest AND it gets me started. So yeah. In the really weird random chance that you actually do see this, just: thank you. thank you, thank you. You're the best, I wish you all of the best of everything. You've made my efforts better and thought you should know that it helped someone get some of their life more together. I hope you know how much it is appreciated!
Struthless you are really like no other youtuber! You get right to the point, the editing is great, the way you represent your ideas, the words you use, your tips and how to actually do it in action and everything you do is just superb. Thank you for this!! And everything you do :D
The situational Music and Pavlov Dog made me think of this habit I've created recently. I live 45min by train from the city center so every time I go to the office or want to hang out with people during the weekend, I have this 1h30 of dead time. At some point I've read Danny Gregory's books about sketching and got inspired so I've challenged myself to do 10 quick portraits of commuters in a week. I got carried away and did 30, continued the next weeks, started to receive nice comments from randomers seeing me drawing which made me even more motivated to continue. And now, after a bit over a month, I've reach this point that sitting in the train WITHOUT my sketchbook feels itchy.
youre one of the very few artists ive given money to that i dont regret years later lol, which in itself sounds like a topic for one of your videos thank you for more amazing tips
FINALLY! A productivity video that Doesn't include me getting up at some ungodly hour and jumping straight into working out! And...kinda happy to say...i already do some of these😊 Gotta rewatch and figure out what things to tweak😊
I have watched a ton of productivity videos, but this is the one that have given the most specific and good tips!! School starts soon for me, so this list is something that I needed. I will try em. Thank you! 😊💫
Your "genre of music" tip works with other cues as well : smells such as lighting the same candle every day when starting work, or putting on a specific fragrance for work; taste like drinking a different blend of tea for work than in the rest of your life, or having a breakfast that is different than your "days off" breakfast; or any action you can link to work like listening to podcasts, tidying your desk before you start your day, etc. It's amazing how much our brains associate things together if you make a habit out of it for a couple of weeks. Thanks for the hacks !
I love that your goals and activities are very normal, its much more realistic, we can see how real and genuine you are and really appreciate it, but everyone reading this he keeps saying "i know this sounds ridiculous but it works" now im saying that to my friends, but seriously try these things and really stick to it, and your life will change!
Thank you for another awesome video bro. I'm about to be a first time father in November (to a girl too!) and it's reassuring to see someone achieving their goals whilst being a Dad. I'm super early in my UA-cam career but it helps. And thank you for an awesome book too! My houseboat is steadily getting into shape. Appreciate you man!
Always love to see that you're passionate about the message you want to share and are over all proud of the content you create, and you have no reason not to! Keep the good stuff flowing, you always manage to get at least something sticking in my mind which I actually use in life, Thanks man!
By far, you are probably the few people who give productivity advice without making me feel like shit. Thanks for the advice; you inspire me on what to write in my blog! thanksss
I am sooo so happy for you that you have a daughter! Congratulations!!! I remember watching your videos that you wanted kids. I also have two beautiful daughters but in these last two years I am in a very hard time, you are helping me so much to not hate me in my dark days or at least give me some hope and get up in the morning. I am truly happy for you because you are helping so many people and you deserve all the happiness. Congratulations to your family! Baci dall'Italia ❤️💐
I love that in your videos you actually teach ACTIONABLE things to do. I currently plan outfits for the week, and for a woman this takes so much pressure off of me. Thank you for more hacks!!! Going to be implementing these things!!
Great tips - especially with the music. I love how your videos will touch on how you handle stuff in your life, as opposed to the standard top ten productivity tips reworded. Now I know why I was such a Tetris junkie as a kid! Thank you for reminding me to treat myself like a human.
Man, I just love your content. You teach self-love over self-help and it's so refreshing. Now to actually put some of your tips into action and maybe discover some new things that work for me ❤️
Tip 8 is good. I do that for some months now and jot down everything I worked on in a small physical notebook. Starting with the time I got to work and ending with the time I shut down. So I also keep track of the hours I put into these tasks. Additionally I am a great fan of Cal Newports idea of a shutdown routine. That's my final task I have to hit in a day and wraps everything up: „Shutdown complete“. Once that is written down in the Moleskine my working days is really over. Works like charme.
Hey man as a recent college graduate and still unsure about where I’m going despite having a vague plan, your self-help videos and stories have become a big, big help to me these past few weeks. Thanks for everything man, I’ll be watching for a while! :)
i feel inspired and motivated after watching your videos, instead of overwhelmed and incapable. you really help me take control of my perfectionism which hinders me from starting tasks (i like to be good at everything from the beginning). i can’t thank you enough for helping my monkey brain :)
Super appreciate how you mention your baby affecting your day to day. I have a 13-month-old, and as a now stay-at-home mom who used to be a full-time tattoo artist who owned her own tattoo shop It is hard for me to feel like I'm getting anything productive done in a day. But I also look at my to do list and it is completely different now. Read books, go on a walk, learn colors, sort shapes, those are now on my to do list. I do find it hard to find time to do things that I would like for myself. So if you have any tips on how you find time for you when you have a dependent or other large responsibilities that would be great! It always seems like lots of UA-camrs productivity videos or just people who I admire who make things don't have any dependents or responsibilities and can just say "oh I found a couple hours here to paint after dinner" or "I was able to go to a coffee shop to write for a couple hours" And sometimes it doesn't feel like I have that luxury anymore. 😂 I'm not really sure what I'm trying to say here other than that I just love that you are splicing in real truth about parenthood and being a creative person at the same time. Thanks so much. You are without a doubt one of my favorite UA-cam channels and I hope you and your family have a beautiful day today!
The last hack has to be my favourite! You can keep on trying more and more hacks but what's the point if you don't even know what works and what doesn't lol? Always learning something new from these videos, thank you! :)
You are so relatable on so many levels and this is the first productivity video I’ve watched where I feel a bit optimistic rather than defeated. All your vids affect me like this. Grateful I stumbled upon your channel.
I love the tip about listening to a certain type of music only for work. I’ve been trying to figure out what I could do that would put me into work mode when I need to work on my content so I’m going to implement this tip. Thank you!
The situational music hack really worked for me so far! I’ve been listening to deep house and electronic music for 3 years: that’s how I got from writing my master’s thesis to a PhD level. I’ve also started to make a physical to do list on my wardrobe! I do it on a weekly basis and having all my achievements displayed in my room is pretty motivating.
So excited to hear your little wonder has arrived! If you can be productive with a newborn, then I better get my list in gear for getting stuff done while retired!! Thanks for the inspiration!
I love the way you word these things, it's easy to grasp - not hard to follow along with, and genuinely helpful. I find myself on your channel whenever I'm in a rut, or I want to feel less alone in the fact that I'm so demotivated in the first place. Thank you! Side note: my ADHD brain really struggled to focus on what you were saying when there's so many flashing images and loud fast-paced music 😬 I don't know if anyone else resonates, but I'm really hoping that your next one will be a little more subdued on the intense sensory stimulation. PS: I know that it's to maintain the attention of the audience, my lil brain just can't cope 🥲
Love these, I've found the audit function especially helpful, which I believe I picked up from some of your journalling videos back in 2020ish. I've applied that to weeks and months and it's really helped me figure out what's moving the boat forward and what I need to cut back on or eliminate. Thanks for the content. Your channel has helped me through some of my more challenging adulting years 💜
The eight tips discussed in the video are: Tip #1 (min 1:17) “The Neil Gaiman Writing Method” - in which one must decide to either do something, or not do it, but he/she cannot do anything else (thus likely choosing to do the task at hand). Tip #2 (min 2:20) “Switching off with the Tetris Effect” - whereby you take a short break to reset/recharge (he chooses to play the game tetris), then getting back to work. Tip #3 (min 3:11) "Situational music" - Listen to music that gets you in the zone/mood for work. Can be done before or during it, as needed. Tip #4 (min 4:04) "Physical Todo list" - He recommends using a to do list, possibly in physical form like drawing and using objects to help you show progress. Tip #5 (5:03) "Preplan micro decisions" - Decide things in advance (the day before/ routinely), such as what I'll wear, eat for breakfast, etc. thus avoiding what's known as 'decision fatigue' Tip #6 (min 6:18) "Loss Aversion": Create a mechanism in which you lose if you don't do what you have to; he for example hired an editor to help with his vids, so he wants to deliver to him vids to edit in order not waste that money. Tip #7 (min 7:14) "Don't be 100% productive" - It's OK to let something slip, don't aim for perfection... Tip #8 (min 7:43) "Audit your productivity" - Examine what worked and what did not at the end of each day. Something worked well? Write down what you did right (slept well before, focused etc); something didn't work out? Examine why (played too many games for example), by doing this you'll learn and improve over time. Great video. Hope it helps others too!
Thanks for your video. I can't remember which video in the past that you mentioned that having goals as a UA-camr is important otherwise you'll never be satisfied. That really helped me feel more content with my channel and remember the real reasons that I'm making videos. So thanks! Hope you are having a great day.
I think I need to use productivity auditing to remind myself of all the things I accomplish in a given day. Sometimes I end the day feeling like it's been wasted until my spouse reminds me of all the cleaning, organizing, and socializing that I did before I took a three hour nap. I also tend to have hyper-productive days followed by a zero motivation day(s) because I over do it physically/mentally during the productive day. I ALWAYS assume I'm slacking off or lazy, and that isn't a fair assessment. Maybe auditing will help me be kinder to myself on rest days.
wow. I have been loading up tetris every time I'm feeling anxious/stressed thoughts for years now, and its super cool seeing someone else doing it. ps. about the coin loading bar, you're a fucking genius. I've been thinking about how cool a loading bar for work stuff would be for a while now.
You really know how to bring it! These tips truly do help increase productivity. Your delivery of the information just seems to stick in my brain. Thanks for the reminders. Have a great day. 🙋♀️🙌🏻
I love these! Especially the audit and the visible "loading bar"/tokens. I'm gonna try the second one first, because I love seeing the work "disappearing" or seeing how far I've come already. I've been doing that digitally, but making it physical sounds more fun
Excellent tips. My husband suffers from ptsd & anxiety and plays Tetris and another game when his head is too busy. He's been doing it for years and helps him a lot. My "Pavlov" habit is putting on an audiobook when I really need to get stuck in to cleaning the house and I put on some EDM when I need to work on a painting 👍
Daniel gaming method and the Pavlot dog method are things I found myself trying to utilize without even knowing that they were things widely considered as helpful. Like when I would study for a test I would play a playlist with a specific handful of songs that I had to love and then listen to them when I would go and take the test.
3:06 When I was in college several years ago, I would take study breaks and play Super Mario on Nintendo. But my hard and fast rule was I could only play one life. As soon as I failed and died, I went back to the books. And my mind was always cleared and receptive. It was a great distraction for the moment and really helped me be prepared to study and stay alert to the subject at hand.
I decided to be more intentional about information that I consume by making a prompt to write a detailed comment on every video that I watch. That one was incredibly relevant for me, earlier today we’ve been discussing productivity with my partner. He mentioned that this type of mindset often seems dehumanising to him. Whereas for me the idea of using my time effectively is about prioritising the most human things like connections in a world (society?) that seems to force us to value other things. Though we agreed that such content usually comes in a particular aesthetics, which has very little to do with the ideas. Thank you!
I’ve been watching your videos for a few weeks now kind of as background when I do other things, and they’re really helpful PLUS idk as soon as you said you have a daughter now (in one of your videos you mentioned wanting kids someday?) it was just, like. Congratulations!!!! 😭 makes me think I can someday get my shit together too. Best of luck balancing work with parenthood!!!!!
Im into so much emotion as, I left my home to prove to myself I can do stuff and started living with my girl got into college so I can learn videogame development, that i am payin myself, and I recongice on myself that everyday has been draining and full of will power up to the smallest desitions and today I just felt that I didnt want to do anything, I skipped school, and felt like trash and felt like my life is crumbling down and wathced all day YT and then I just remembered struthless, as every time he talks about struggles, I feel it so close man, I feel it right here, I understand the things he talks about, the drugs, the wanting to be a better person and recognizing in yourself you are doing wrong to yourself, and mental fatigiue, and the job you hate and thats why you do what you do and then I find myself exasperated and and overwhelmed and I just came back here to help me out, grab a pen and paper and do my homework, and I also wanted to share this little something, even, with almost no emotional or mental energy, We still have to move on, and the music hack, It works , so good luck to everybody whos trying and breaking out of their older self
Thank you Campbell all of these at any given time has given me the same results as you. Just treat yourself as a human is the best advice. Especially when you have kids. I’ll definitely be auditing my good days and paying an editor ahead of time brilliant idea!
ty for the helpful video. I've been really ill , which has the upside of requiring me to become much more mindful of what I choose to tackle on any given day. I have a bunch of classical productivity advice from the early 2000s rolling around in my head, and I just assumed they were gospel and if I didn't do more following them, I was at fault. A prime example is the one where if you have four tasks that are similar in difficult and time to complete, do the ones you are least enthused about first so you can coast through the easier ones. It never felt good to me, and now that I'm recuperating, my body makes it quite clear the ones I don't want to do, forcing myself to do them does not work any longer. I start getting heart rate alarms on my watch and never make progress on anything.
Just wanna say "you've helped me so much on my path to get off of drugs, ,the hard ones too". A big THANKYOU. I'm sure you'll help me a lot more in the future too.
Great video, as always! So packed that we all will watch over and over, i bet . low key wonder if Struthless and TwoSet will ever come together to talk about Mental Health × Practicing and also overload us with that Aussie accent 🐦
I love the feeling of having been away for a while and then coming back and seeing 6 videos I've not seen! Weeoo!! Also, would love a video on sobriety
Just want to say I find your videos so interesting and helpful! The advice you give is totally relatable and the way you present yourself is just lovely. Also the editing and animation is perfect!
I love your videos. I teach an online class for Tierra Del Sol Arts Department called Centered and Creative. I often add your videos to my presentation. They add to the class. Thanks so much!
My aim for this one was to try create a productivity video that had some practical next steps and some mindset stuff, but didn't leave you feeling like shit for not being productive enough 😘

Being conscient of this question have make me out of negative loops fiew years ago 👍✌️💪
I did a diet plan that had a component of “if you break the diet, be kind to yourself, don’t worry at all, just hop back on tomorrow or even the next day and keep going”. That pressure release valve helped me lose 30lbs.
I’ve recently rewatched your older videos where you mention you’d like to have kids one day and it warms my little heart to hear you now talk about spending time with your daughter :)
notes for me
1) Do task or do nothing within the allotted time
2) Use tetris to remove extra unnecessary thoughts. Might kinda be like meditating. Can be used for a break
3) Use music cues which play only for when you're working. Maybe try listening to "deep minimal techno"
4) Use a physical system to track your progress so accomplishments feel more satisfying
5) At the end of each day make a list of what you did. List what went will and not so well and why they happened. Minimize things which caused bad things, maximize things which caused good things
sorry but playing tetris has nothing to do with meditating
Anyone else immediately rewatch Campbell’s videos because there’s just so much knowledge packed in?? 👍🏻 I always learn so much!
Yep, my brain can't take too many great ideas at once.
Any other advice from someone else I'd soon zoom out.
I'd remember if it was like 1/5 but it's every bloody idea.
I watch once, then watch again to take notes. And again cuz probably missed something the first 2 times (cuz that’s my brain)😂

His videos are amazing. I’ve been watching since a couple of years and they’ve helped me uncover why I procrastinate or can’t finish things.
Excellent.
Hey man, check Harrison Divecha channel, specially his groove dub thechno series. Thank me later

Struthless man, you look so much more happier I can see it in you face, voice and overall body language, proud of ya
Thanks so much!! I 100% blame our new baby aha, she's made me happier than I knew I could ever be
honestly, the biggest takeaway for me was the whole "full screen" idea to help prevent distracting myself with a new tab... thanks g

I've been seriously lacking inspiration and motivation, and I needed this video. Thank you
I love that in your videos you actually teach ACTIONABLE things to do.
The way you deliver your tips/advice is so down to earth and straightforward, you are the only advice/how to channel that I watch!
The giggle. I love the tip on music. I'm gonna try that as I used to do that and never made the connection.
i feel inspired and motivated after watching your videos, instead of overwhelmed and incapable. you really help me take control of my perfectionism which hinders me from starting tasks (i like to be good at everything from the beginning). i can’t thank you enough for helping my monkey brain :)
always so grateful for this channel
I'm not really sure what I'm trying to say here other than that I just love that you are splicing in real truth about parenthood and being a creative person at the same time.
And it’s something we can go our whole lives not thinking about. So smart to be like ‘what worked for me today and what can I try tomorrow?’
Every time you post I get so happy.
You are so relatable on so many levels and this is the first productivity video I’ve watched where I feel a bit optimistic rather than defeated. All your vids affect me like this. Grateful I stumbled upon your channel.
I listen to Struthless every morning when I'm walking to work. Thank you!
Congratulations on your new arrival! And thank you for another epic video. Best wishes to you all!
I have a genre/playlist as well when I work on my art, so I don't have to stop every 3 minutes to look for a song. I just hit play and work on stuff.
I can’t believe all this content is for free. Such good stuff ❤ thank you so much 🥰
I love the tip about listening to a certain type of music only for work. I’ve been trying to figure out what I could do that would put me into work mode when I need to work on my content so I’m going to implement this tip. Thank you!
I have been watching your videos out of order since I only found you last week. I'm excited to see that you now have a daughter! Congratulations!
This is by far the best productivity video I have ever stumbled into. Well done!
Great podcast with the Art of Manliness mate. Explained your method (and the book) so succinctly. Splendid stuff!
I watch and read a lot of productivity content, and yours is the best. Thanks for the great videos that also have an element of self compassion.
(To clarify, I'm only talking about the beginning of the video)
I’ve been very thankful to find your channel this week. It has been a huge help. Thank you for being so relatable and wise.
Love these, I've found the audit function especially helpful, which I believe I picked up from some of your journalling videos back in 2020ish. I've applied that to weeks and months and it's really helped me figure out what's moving the boat forward and what I need to cut back on or eliminate. Thanks for the content. Your channel has helped me through some of my more challenging adulting years 💜
The eight tips discussed in the video are:
Tip #1 (min 1:17) “The Neil Gaiman Writing Method” - in which one must decide to either do something, or not do it, but he/she cannot do anything else (thus likely choosing to do the task at hand).
Tip #5 (5:03) "Preplan micro decisions" - Decide things in advance (the day before/ routinely), such as what I'll wear, eat for breakfast, etc. thus avoiding what's known as 'decision fatigue'
Tip #6 (min 6:18) "Loss Aversion": Create a mechanism in which you lose if you don't do what you have to; he for example hired an editor to help with his vids, so he wants to deliver to him vids to edit in order not waste that money.
10/10 on quality!! The editing, design and rythm feel like something i should be paying to watch

Thanks for your video. I can't remember which video in the past that you mentioned that having goals as a UA-camr is important otherwise you'll never be satisfied. That really helped me feel more content with my channel and remember the real reasons that I'm making videos. So thanks! Hope you are having a great day.
Awesome content! I like how you suggest practises that turn creative chaotic thoughts into something tangible. Keep up the awesome work
I think I need to use productivity auditing to remind myself of all the things I accomplish in a given day.
Loving your content! Your production value and deep research is really something! Thanks bro!

The kind of knowledge you share is priceless. Very grateful ❤️❤️ God bless you daughter 💕 lots of love to her ♥️
I decided to be more intentional about information that I consume by making a prompt to write a detailed comment on every video that I watch.
Thank you!
You have a great editor! And your videos are always on point, thanks for sharing these hacks!

I have never heard of the physical to-do list :O I think that will REALLY help me, who's more inclined to visuals. Thank you!!

So packed that we all will watch over and over, i bet
.
low key wonder if Struthless and TwoSet will ever come together to talk about Mental Health × Practicing and also overload us with that Aussie accent 🐦
The only Productivity Hacks I've seen that actually feel real world applicable!!
Thanks Campbell
I love the feeling of having been away for a while and then coming back and seeing 6 videos I've not seen! Weeoo!!
Also, would love a video on sobriety
Man I love the editing in your videos.

I love that you used Neil Gaiman’s writing process for this. I love that you know what Neil Gaiman’s writing process is. [high five]
Great videos! So relatable and practical. I've done the tetris hack since I was a teenager. Calms me so much.
Just want to say I find your videos so interesting and helpful! The advice you give is totally relatable and the way you present yourself is just lovely. Also the editing and animation is perfect!
Did you reply to this message about the giveaway?
I like how many unique solutions you have to problems. And they're ones that I'd want to try too
congratulations on the daughter! you seem like you'll be an awesome dad
I bought your book and finished it within minutes. It was awesome, fun, and easy to understand. Hope to see more books from you. :)
Big ups to techno for go (work) time.
Closing down Outlook and Teams when doing the bigger longer tasks is also hugely beneficial.
I think my substitute for situational music is just watching your videos man. Keep up the good work
I use Solitaire on my phone as my focus game. Works super well! Excited about trying the write or don’t write, but you can’t do anything else method!
This is so helpful! I would love to see your playlist or a short video of music you recommend.
really love your videos and a slightly ironic take on productivity :) very helpful and useful advice!
I love your videos. I teach an online class for Tierra Del Sol Arts Department called Centered and Creative. I often add your videos to my presentation. They add to the class. Thanks so much!
Just wanted to say thanks for helping to clean out my houseboat, smooth sailing since
Thanks for the advice, keep them coming, especially since I love recommending your words of wisdom.
Can you so a video with strategies for being present in the moment - your insight on this would be really great!
