Hey everyone, I want to mention that the majority of the comments on this video have been positive and lovely and it warms my heart to know that you watching have a deep understanding of who I am as a person. But I have seen a few comments saying that through this video I am promoting Temu and their unethical business practices, which is a very strong claim and I would like to take a moment and try to explain my perspective and hopefully make myself clear. Firstly, in case I didn’t make it completely clear this video IS NOT sponsored by Temu, it isn’t sponsored by anyone. I did speak to what my motive for doing this review of Temu makeup was in the beginning of the video, but I worry some people skipped my explanation or maybe I didn’t explain it well enough. So I will try again now, because I would feel horrible for anyone to have the wrong idea of why I did this video. Temu is a very popular app, very popular meaning many MANY people shop and spend their hard earned money on the app. People are spending their money on Temu, on products (In My Opinion) that are not that amazing. A lot of times these products being bought are beauty/cosmetic products. I have watched a few Temu makeup reviews on youtube, and I have found a lot of them are sponsored by Temu directly. To be completely transparent with you all, Temu has offered to sponsor my videos MANY times and I have always declined no matter what the $ offer is. I only take sponsorships from brands I genuinely love & believe in. Seeing so many Temu makeup reviews being sponsored led me to wonder if the products really were as good as they seemed in the videos. Which was my motive for making this video, creating an unsponsored Temu makeup review to really show how the products performed for me,, just truly focusing on the products. What I found was that the products DIDN’T perform that well, I would say there was around a 20% success rate on all the pieces, which in my opinion is pretty low. So I thought this video really showed that even if you do not care about the ethics of Temu or the sustainability of Temu, if you just look at the products on their own, even for the low price.. They aren’t that great. I even went on to mention I would link down below cruelty free affordable products I believe in more than the pieces from Temu. I am not the most sustainable person, and I know that about myself but I am making an effort in my everyday life to be cognizant of what and how I do something and how it can affect the world around me. I care about ethical product production.. That is why I always take time in videos to disclose my thoughts on the brands at hand, and try to bring to light the unethical business practices. I do apologize for not touching on that directly in this video, I did make mention in this video that I have spoken about Temu many times in other videos and I have shared my opinion on how unethical/unsustainable I believe it to be but I honestly thought bringing it up in every video may frustrate some of you or even ostracize the people who have chosen that Temu is a brand they enjoy and love to shop on. Because as I said not everyone is worried about ethics and sustainability in their everyday life. At the end of the day everyone has a different check list for products, some only want affordable good products, some people want clean vegan beauty. Everyone is different, and as I have said in many videos major corporations need to be held accountable for creating these pieces, because so much pressure is put on the consumer but I believe if business owners were more forthcoming and transparent we wouldn’t be having these issues. I don’t personally shop on Temu outside of making reviews of products when they are brought to my attention. I felt like an unsponsored Temu makeup review would be useful to bring light to the product's performance. If you are curious about my thoughts on Temu please go watch my other two (not sponsored by Temu) Temu videos where I really get into my thoughts on the brand. I hope that this explanation can help you understand where I was coming from. I will always be genuine and honest about how I feel, and I do apologize if I didn’t explain my motive properly in this video. And if my motive is not justified to you, I am sorry I honestly thought this video would be helpful. Thank you for reading, Love you all so much ❤
Mia, you communicated very clearly your motives and your objectives for the video. Thank you for making videos like this to help people. You are kind to take the time to reiterate your motives and objectives in the comment section and to do so thoughtfully. I have a request I meant to put this in my comments after watching the video. When the quality is questionable, like Temu's makeup, can you do something like an end of day check in on products you liked? I'm wondering, for example, if you still liked the lashes as much after wearing them all day. The eyeshadow is a good example that first impressions can change with continued use /wear time.
Hitchhiking your (great!) comment to say: For the kind of makeup AND the shade range you have to keep in mind that this is all asian makeup. :) They have a completely different preference compared to North America and even still different from Europe, wanting it more pale, natural and hinty. The shades come from them mostly being, well, asian and from them being quite racist and definitely much less trying to be diverse. :P
Isn't all makeup online makeup lol they all come from warehouses, a lot come from the same manufacturers, we don't know which brands use the same ones.
@@Bones09990lol you watch Judy D too 😄 these two trying stuff so I keep away when they break out. Unless it ia fragrance free I can't handle it on my face so I am happy with my face
I have sensitive skin, too. So far, most of the things I've gotten from temu have been fine for me. Little tip for sensitive skin: Try the products behind the ear to see if it itchies or burns.
So excited to announce that the “Charity Bag Fundraisers” final numbers are in! All together with 100% of the sales from the charity bag sticker sheet & digital downloads along with me matching the donations done on the youtube fundraiser… Together we raised $16,514 CAD for Doctors without Borders!!! I can’t believe it!! It makes my heart so full to be able to be a part of this, seriously a dream come true to do this fundraiser! This definitely will not be the last of them! I can only imagine the good work this money will do in the world through Doctors without Borders. Thank you to all of you for watching & to the ones who were able to donate during the fundraiser thank you so much for participating! Love you all so much 💗
For the prices, you would be better off going to the drugstore and getting a known brand that has been vetted properly. Cause these items were honestly quite expensive for a website like Temu and who knows what they put in them! You’re so brave for putting them on your skin haha
As someone who works with customs and receives tumu and shein packages on the daily. They get selected all the time for ingredients and materials used. So please look at all of these things before buying from them. It’s really scary actually.
@@rae615 customer or fda can select a package for viewing. So certain description words will set off a red flag for them which makes them want to see what’s inside the package. So shein uses some chemicals and fabrics that have to be inspected by the fda or customs. Certain things like them separating the world poly and ester or rabbit fur has been a big one
I haven't even watched this video yet, but i think we should all be thanking Mia for sacrificing her face for us and putting temu makeup products on!!!! I don't think I could ever 😂
I wish someone will thanks me one day when i finish my Rhynestone suit lmao. I do it for crafting!, damn i suggest nobody to do this on their own, expensive, time consuming.
While I do not buy from TEMU for...reasons, still I enjoy seeing brutally honest, not sponsored by, but still fun to watch, this type of content from creators like Mia.
Agreed, there has been a lot of reports coming from these sorts of places of heavy metal use and other non-approved substances by the FDA for make-up. That's why it's so cheap.
@@icedbun101no it isnt??? Shein and temu are like siblings so i dont understand why some people think shein is so much better than Temu when it’s all drop shipped garbage made using slave labour 🤦♀️
I so appreciate how you link affordable cruelty free/vegan products! Companies like temu are so frustrating but you always make sure to put blame on companies and not consumers. You make changing shopping habits approachable!
Thank you Mia for testing these out! On that note, please please everyone don't shop at Temu! They're the Shein of objects, we have no idea how safe the products are for your skin but we know that they're made of lots of plastic and create tons of environmental waste. Plus the workers are underpaid and work under really really bad conditions
Yes. This makeup is all toxic and full of lead. Another huge issue with this crap is that people who buy this have children. There is no safe level of lead for children. So please do not buy this garbage.
I don't care yes I said it we don't know about anything is these days what I do know is I love temu and shein cuz right now with prices being so high I can get a lot for so much less I will say I don't buy makeup or things of that kind but no one should be shamed for buying low when everything is so high also now you want worker to paid how bout starting at home first i don't know if you in us or but us don't pay their worker right now you a right to your opinion but things are not always as they seem for everyone
@@krystalstiles4087 Understandable, BUT please stay clear of the glitter stuff for your eyes from the cheap brands. Glitter in the eyeball can actually make you go blind. That's the one piece of advice I would follow. I don't use glitter at all anymore for any purpose whatsoever after hearing the horror stories. Reputable brands of course don't just go 'hmm let's throw in this cheap kiddie glitter', so you can trust those.
Of course, and I'm not shaming anybody for shopping for cheaper options, obviously not everyone can afford other brands. I'm not from the US but I'm sure in Europe we're not much better. I'm just saying that if you can afford to buy less or buy other options, go for the other options. I also know that many people want to just buy a lot and own a lot of things and that's the result of our consumerist and capitalist system, no one single person's fault, but if we try to change our capitalist ways, it's still something. :-) @@krystalstiles4087
@@krystalstiles4087the crap from these shops always test posting for lead and other extremely toxic chemicals. Because there is zero oversight! Unlike buying items in your own country. So if you hate your life that much sure go ahead and bury yourself in that toxic sludge
Mia is so brave for doing this😭🙏🏼 Personally, I would not purchase any item from websites like Temu/Wish etc that have to stay on my skin for longer than a couple of minutes. I have seen far too many cases of friends (and even youtubers, remember when people were comparing real vs knockoff makeup items???) who have developed acute eczema and skin issues because a lot of off brand products have heavy metals like cobalt and lead in them. Please be VERY careful when purchasing stuff like this.
12:41 i just want to mention that there are specific styles of makeup used in Asia where pigment really isn't the main concern of eyeshadow. a lot of asian eyeshadows aren't as pigmented on purpose. western beauty puts a lot of emphasis on pigment. both are beautiful i just wanted to point that out
I appreciate your effort for the white backdrop to focus on the makeup more, BUT BUT MIA I LOVED looking at your setup with cute things it was too cute I miss those already
Can we all agree that Mia is one of the most kind hearted, genuine, & wholesome youtubers out there? Her videos are so calming to me Drama free, unproblematic, its just what UA-cam needs these days after so many controversial and awful youtubers over the past few years..
Yeah she’s so unproblematic, that she decided to buy from some thing that participates in slave labor! She’s just so awesome right! It’s such a calming fact to me, that she buys from slave labor companies and a company that is actually under investigation for stealing its customers information.
@@xdani_thethinkingneko hope you realize that by writing that comment on a phone, or whatever device, you are also contributing to slave labor for the parts needed to assemble it. Sadly in modern day just about everything we have and buy is using and abusing people so to tear someone down for something we are all guilty of is hypocritical, Mia always tries to buy from reputable places and in almost all her videos she lets you know if a place has bad practices (including past videos on temu). If you feel the need to judge so bad, get rid of your technology, grow your own food, make your own clothes, and build your own shelter, otherwise you are always going to be buying from companies who participate in slave labor and steal info cause fyi, they all do.
@@xdani_thethinkingneko yeah, but it's next to impossible to purchase most daily necessities and products without it involving slave labour, no? Almost anything that says 'made in China' is made with potential slave labor, and even big companies and products have been found to have inhumane initiatives behind them, so how is anyone supposed to avoid it entirely? Good luck, we live in a world that's destined to have shady measures regardless of what we're purchasing, from food to clothing to cars, it's all shady, but it's also hard to avoid in the society we live in unfortunately...
PSA: That eyeliner applicator she was kind of scared of can actually be used as an accessibility tool. Temu's is probably not the best quality but Selma Blair sells a similarly shaped item for eyeliner application!
Wait! holy crap! You’re telling me that this is a real thing and it helps make putting liner on more accessible?! I have a tremor in my hands so putting liner on straight is impossible! That is such a nifty idea!!
Hey Mia, to avoid stapling a backdrop to your ceiling every time you want to do makeup reviews, you can always get a clothing rack and toss the backdrop over it! This way you don't have to mess around with hanging stuff up all the time, and it's easy to move. If you need it to be taller, you can set the rack on top of a couple of cardboard boxes or something. As a lazy person we learn to make-do, so I hope you are able to find this comment and get some use out of it lol. Cheers!
Those heated lash curlers are fantastic!!! They have 2 heat settings, I keep mine on low and it only takes a few seconds to curl right up. I'm really happy with it
Would love to see some clothing, home or makeup reviews on some “sustainable” forward brands. Girlfriend collective, West elm, linen naive…. Would be good to know if the stuff is worth it! Thanks Mia for always being open to helping us learn more about products available.
I enjoyed your background as it was, it was super cosy and not "too professional" if it makes sense. Kinda felt like we are just having fun, also I super love how the studio is decorated, love the plant on the background!
I like the background of your room better. In a way that feels more comfortable and familiar, the white background feels so clinical lol. It might be just me but I love the warm feeling of your channel and the white sheet kinda takes away from that.
as someone who religiously uses a heated lash curler, seeing Mia freak out was so cute. I would be terrified of getting one from Temu but in general heated lash curlers are super popular in Asian makeup.
on this note as someone who bought the SAME eyelash curler as mia did in the video, it DOES work, but it did say not to use it on top of mascara which may be why the results didnt show as well on her
I love that you said the sponge was a bit dirty and put it on your face 0,3 second after 😂 Thanks for testing these products for us, I was always curious but suspicious about Temu makeup.
Personally I love seeing the background of the room with all the cute decorations! It's like getting to see your personality in the things you or collect each video!❤
Personally I love seeing the background of the room with all the cute decorations! It’s like getting to see your personality in the things you or collect each video!❤️
I just find it important to point out that there have been several very unfortunate cases of workers from the brand behind Temu losing their lives, either at their own hands or because of work related health issues, the store itself has had a major data leak and its "code" thing is a huge pyramid scheme / MLM / whatever you may wanna call it. So please please please be aware of that. 😢
I love your videos Mia! Its amazing that you're promoting more ethical and sustainable practices through your content. Unsponsored reviews in this day and age are super important as well, but I really wish creators in general would stop making content like this because at the end of the day you're still giving money to the company/brand and good reviews can potentially lead to viewers also spending their money on cheap, unethically made items, keeping them in business. If people stopped giving coverage and reviews of companies we already know are just cheaply, unethically mass producing items hopefully less people will buy from them 😞 I would really love to see small brands getting reviewed on bigger channels, vote with your wallets I guess. I digress, thanks for all your effort and positivity Mia!
@@jchoertz As they say "all press is good press" and people are very consumed in sensationalize negative reviews but then will go and others negatively review the same thing and its just a cycle. A common concern I've heard from the general public is that its out of budget to buy from small more high quality brands, I understand that myself as a student with limited spending money who occasionally has to take the L on the less desirable option. But when I was a kid finding a 100% cotton tshirt that was thick and lasted me years was like 5$ at walmart because it was the most common material and things were made better, then companies shifted to using cheaper materials and construction but the consumers were the problem, we bought those items and accepted them as the new standard. This example applies to everything. Buy the better thing because if enough people do they can afford to make it more accessible.
I'm on the same page too! It's kinda wild that so many youtubers are supporting temu even with them getting into a lawsuit for selling peoples card information!
Unfortently they also has several 100k followers that want to see it and they get all hatemode if things cost more then Temu. Just see how angry many are on the videos that are about good brands becouse they can't show 5 times a week then. Me live under the poverty lvl in my country and don't shop there becouse i choose to shop less and try find good prices in sonewhat better brands. Nobody need to shop all that crap anyway they think they need to buy cheap
Personally I love your style Mia! I love seeing all your decorations in the background. I find it to be more visually pleasing to see things in the background, and it’s more comforting to know you are just in your house. So while yes this looks professional I’d much rather see your personality not just in your videos but in the background as well!
The backdrop of your cute little decorations is preferable, also as someone with light sensitive eyes, my goodness the white backdrop is very harsh for me, I'm watching in theater mode with the black youtube from dark reader instead of fullscreen like normal to deal with the brightness. Love you as always Mia!
I love the video (as always), but about the backdrop, I do prefer your usual background cuz I just love your decoration style and I think it gives so much more personality to the video, it feels like we're there with you, like friends just chatting! Of course I'm gonna keep watching even if you decide to keep the clear backdrop, I wouldn't miss a single video of yours
I've been using a heated eyelash curler for decades. I just take a plastic(NOT METAL!) eyelash curler and run it under hot water, quickly dry it, and then curl away. Make sure to heat it for each eye's lashes, as it will cool down too much after the first eye to be as effective on the other eye. Have a great weekend everyone!
I heat mine with my blow dryer for about five seconds, and then I *ALWAYS* feel it before I put it on my eye to make sure it's not so hot that it'll burn my eyelid. Works like a charm, and it really sets the curl.
I use a lighter. I warm the top half very carefully and check the heat with my finger. never had a burn. Pro tip for long-lasting curled eyelashes: waterproof mascara😊
I absolutely love the butterfly tattoos on the edge of your eyes. I love butterflies and I think they really add that extra touch to your face and a wonderful uniqueness.
Just for reference, since Temu is Chinese the makeup products are from cheap Chinese brands, so dewy makeup is ofc the most common finish for foundation etc. That's also why the bb cream shades and concealer are so limited (it's a heterogeneous society so the brands are marketing towards Chinese ppl so ofc there's way less demand for darker shades) and the cream you used first is likely a skin whitener lmao that's why it was thick and made you look so washed out
This is why you're one of my favorites, I love your REAL, authentic opinions! You then go the extra mile and give us affordable items that are good make up wise!!!
Mia I think you should be made aware of the fact that Temu has repeatedly been found to have elevated levels of lead and other toxins in their products, meaning that you should not be putting this stuff on your face or near your mouth or eyes. Temu has also been found to use incredibly unethical and unsustainable labor practices. I would just recommend you don't ever give them your money, even for videos, it's not worth it. I love you tho and I know you care about this stuff, so I thought I'd let you know about this stuff just in case you weren't aware
I find it hard to believe, that someone with a big enough platform like this isn’t aware of this. She’s online enough, she has to have seen it at least once. Also, it’s pretty disturbing that she’s not doing any research, if she actually doesn’t know about the product she is recommending to her viewers. It just shows, how she cares more about views and trends, then potentially influencing someone to buy something dangerous. Shows a lack of self preservation for herself too.
She might break out, but generally, those harazdous ingredients are mainly dangerous for the workers in the factory. Putting it on a few times isn't gonna be that bad for you. Breathing it in every day while working in those conditions? Yeah, that's not as great.
@@Esther19870 I will say that things aren't much different here. There is a legal limit implemented by the FDA, of one rodent hair to every 100 grams of peanut butter. And it also allows up to 30 insect fragments per 100 grams. Sounds nasty, right? That's because it is. They're allowed because they're considered unavoidable defects when manufacturing and growing food. It is much worse for those skincare products though. I wouldn't allow them anywhere near my skin.
I prefer your normal background over a backdrop. It just feels more natural and relatable(??) Lol. Like you're just at home trying stuff on (cause you are 😂). And I love that feel lol ❤
If you know Mia, she isn’t promoting anything and does reviews about the products and always discloses the ethnicities and sustainability of them, get to know her before you leave negative reviews; I’ve been watching her for years and she’s the most honest beautiful and funniest person to do these videos she’s about giving us honest reviews for us not about getting sponsors and making money, even though I think she should take sponsorship from brands she approves of, love you Mia, you make my day brighter when I watch you, like many others, ps I need a mother daughter dose,
I was stressed about going into work in an hour because I’m teaching a new ballet class last minute, but now I have a new video from my comfort youtuber to watch while I get ready. Thank you Mia 💜
right? It is entertaining to watch but also, what happened to the sustainability and ethics Mia talks about? Obviously people can shop wherever they want, but it seems hypocritical of Mia. A lot of young people look up to her and want to support the brands she supports (and yes, buying is supporting🤷🏻♀️).
I feel like it's worth mentioning that most Temu makeup cannot be regulated due to the high amount of drop shipping sellers and likely has some quite unusual or unsafe ingredients in it, not to mention *edit* foreign makeup sold in China is required to test on animals, not to mention it's not illegal to test on animals for cosmetics in China, so most of these makeup products will be not be cruelty free. Just be aware of what you put on your skin and particularly around your eyes and mouth.
No they aren't required. Makeup made in China isn't tested on animals-only foreign companies wanting to sell in China are required to test on them, Which is stupid and awful.
Thanks for the catch on this one, I'd feel comfortable in saying a lot of makeup made in China will still have been tested on animals though as it isn't illegal to do so, (as with many places in the world, though we're also dealing with a quantity and quality issue here!)@@parisinthe30sx
This is actually incorrect most Chinese makeup brands (like the legit known brands) are cruelty free I suggest reading up on it. It’s actually really interesting to learn how Sinophobia and western brands that test on animals twisted the narrative about c beauty to make China solely take the blame
As a man who doesn't wear make-up and is just generally here for the vibes, I have 2 things to say: 1. those make-up brushes are making me want to add some cute aesthetically pleasing brushes to my collection for painting 👀 2. hey Mia! That strange eyeliner thing that smelled like paint thinner is an actual product. I saw another UA-camr review it (I can't remember who). They weren't sold, but I saw a couple of comments saying that they used it and it was genuinely helpful for them because of a physical disability.
The gold rose brush can be found at dollar tree in the isa right now for 1.25 and they have three different colors. Just in case anyone likes it and wants to get it cheaper.
which probably means they won't do that any more 😅 the sustainability and human rights issues are more concerning imo, but I know Mia is aware of that 😬
I do like the backdrop! Although I think wearing a pop of colour or something that doesn't match the backdrop would make you pop more as I felt you blended in to the backdrop wearing cream, but otherwise I like it!!
Soooo those liners you bought.... i have them in their gel pencil form and i ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM. Also you have to take into consideration that yes, they're from China meaning they definitely cater more to Asian beauty standards which are a lot more simplistic than western beauty standards. Thinner foundation and skin products and lighter eyeshadow products are the norm because they don't pack on the cosmecuticals like we do.
Love Mia, but we need to stop supporting companies that employ 9-9-6 work models (9am-9pm 6 days a week). I get that it's cheap, but Temu is highly unethical, in more ways than just their working hours
Not to mention the fact that they’re stealing peoples information. It’s sad when people don’t care about slave labor, it’s even more disturbing when they don’t have self-preservation.

I purchased that same exact foundation, and it was terrible. I’m older, and it settled into lines I didn’t even know I had! Also, I found that you have to be creative with the words you use to search. If you try face powder instead of setting powder you’ll find a lot of products.
Hi Mia, I tried that exact foundation and I love it. There’s plenty of product, it builds up so smoothly, and the finish is flawless. I also bought a very finely milled finishing powder and it sets the foundation beautifully. I’ve spent a fortune on good quality makeup so I thought I had nothing to lose in trying the Temu options. I’m glad I did because the items I bought beat all the others hands down. I also got the exact same face cream but only used a tiny amount and it’s great. I’m also enjoying the lip products. I’m 63 and live in Australia but Temu sends from China so I’m guessing we both got our items from the same warehouse. 💄🇦🇺

Thank you for reading, Love you all so much ❤
this is why you are my favorite youtuber, dont listen to the hate and keep doing what you love and being yourself
An unsponsored review on Temu makeup is important for people who are undecided on shopping on Temu. any sponsored video is ridiculously positive!!
Hitchhiking your (great!) comment to say:
For the kind of makeup AND the shade range you have to keep in mind that this is all asian makeup. :)
They have a completely different preference compared to North America and even still different from Europe, wanting it more pale, natural and hinty.
The shades come from them mostly being, well, asian and from them being quite racist and definitely much less trying to be diverse. :P

For the prices, you would be better off going to the drugstore and getting a known brand that has been vetted properly. Cause these items were honestly quite expensive for a website like Temu and who knows what they put in them! You’re so brave for putting them on your skin haha
Not that expensive if they don't have any makeup in the compact or is very little .

So agree with this! Even purchasing the items to review and making a negative review helps to perpetuate unethical manufacturing practices.

Have a great weekend everyone!
i havent heard of someone using hot water from the tap before! seems so much safer than a lot of other ways ive seen, great tip!

I love you tho and I know you care about this stuff, so I thought I'd let you know about this stuff just in case you weren't aware
Exactly! These products are cheap for a reason.

Just be aware of what you put on your skin and particularly around your eyes and mouth.
Came here to say about the animal testing - I always thought that any Chinese make up products are tested on animals 💔

Thinner foundation and skin products and lighter eyeshadow products are the norm because they don't pack on the cosmecuticals like we do.
Idk i like your cute house as a background i think it adds more character and makes the channel feel more warm and safe
I've been wanting to see someone do a Temu makeup review. You're the first one I've seen. Yay!
This was fully like watching a 6 year old experiment with makeup and I loved every second of it
Love Mia, but we need to stop supporting companies that employ 9-9-6 work models (9am-9pm 6 days a week).
I get that it's cheap, but Temu is highly unethical, in more ways than just their working hours
Very much agreed. It’s sad seeing all the UA-camrs who are reviewing these. Even if they’re not sponsored, it’s still definitely promoting them.
Agreed. Whatever the intention, Temu is making money regardless and they will continue to produce as long as people keep paying.
Not to mention the fact that they’re stealing peoples information. It’s sad when people don’t care about slave labor, it’s even more disturbing when they don’t have self-preservation.
Very much agreed
Fenty x savage is also not respecting human rights
Literally, labor is horrible and people still purchase from them
Idk if anyone else would be interested, but I like the idea of Mia reviewing Barbie clothes from Temu. I think that be really interesting! Love your vids Mia ❤
it's so sweet that you put recommended makeup products in the description
As someone with severe visual impairment, I love the new backdrop for makeup 💄. It means I can see more of you, without a hectic background, and hey, it looks very professional! ❤
Mia!!! I am dying for you to review TikTok shop products (like the viral chair!!) or the ‘free’ pop fit leggings!!
I love your videos so much!!!!
Watching Mia try products or clothing always brightens my day. Thank you for all your hard work Mia!!! ❤️
That’s what I love about your videos you’re so honest about sponsors and I trust you only take on ones you actually like. There’s so many influencers who just take on any sponsors and it shows where as you actually care about what your endorsing
Omg your skin tone is so pretty and the look slayys
I am so scared to put anything from Temu on my skin. It would be interesting to have their stuff tested and see what’s really in it.
It’s nice to see someone honestly test makeup from temu as I’ve never really trusted it sooo now i know! ❤❤love u Mia x
just letting you know that Temu is a very unethical market for Many reasons and just not to support it or buy from there. they are ruining our one and only planet, they steal designs and other peoples work, the products are cheaply made to scam you and are sometimes toxic to your health, and their workers are not fairly payed.. (I do not say this in a mean way! just in case you didn't know I want everyone to be educated on this company
props to using these on your face! i bought she glam lip liner and got bumps around my lips where i applied it (i dont usually get bumps anywhere except my forehead), most of these products are so dangerous
Mia don't listen to the hate comments do whatever you wish ❤❤❤ i love you so much
You are amazing, thank you for making us so happy 💗
I purchased that same exact foundation, and it was terrible. I’m older, and it settled into lines I didn’t even know I had! Also, I found that you have to be creative with the words you use to search. If you try face powder instead of setting powder you’ll find a lot of products.
i just don’t think i can trust temu or their makeup, but thanks for trying it out mia!
Thank you Mia. You look gorgeous no matter what. Thank you for taking one for the team.
tldr
Mia out here really putting her skin at risk for us! What a queen! ❤
Nothing makes me go 'yes!' Like seeing a new video uploaded from you 😂
I love you! ❤
I was stressed at the heated lash curler especially after you put mascara but glad you still have your lashes Mia 😂😂😂😅
Mia, i always enjoy your playful pure heart. I have shopped @ shein & temu. I have loved & disliked things. I fully appreciate that you do unsponsored videos because I agree it is hard to get a unbiased feeling when people are paid. I also commend you for possibly sacrificing your eyelashes for us. Ty for always being you
This was sooo fun .. felt like we're just hanging out doing a makeup and chat .. loved it 💙
I have mad respect for Mia to take on doing makeup from such a dark web loving, credit card stealing, company like Temu. I wouldn't do it myself because who knows what noxious chemicals are actually in their makeup but I truly respect Mia's bravery for doing something I couldn't bring myself to do.
Pretty sure they would be shut down if that was the case and they arent
@@KayBooParanormalnot necessarily lol
@@KayBooParanormal Shut down by who, exactly? Shein, the massive Chinese slave company is still going strong. What makes you think Temu would be treated any differently. Critical thinking - Get some!
@@shadelings no need to be rude, and insult me. If there was. Case against them they would be shut down by the government or something most likely im not sure but they haven't been shut down.
@@Pixiecrust if there was a case against them for what people are saying against them it would most likely be shut down but they haven't
6:01 lol it’s a whitening cream
😂😂 right? She's adorable.
The butterfly headband at the end was giving Florence Pugh from Midsommar which is hilarious as Temu wishes you became their leader lol
I see so much of your mom in you in this video--especially when you said, "Oooohh!" when swatching the eyeliners on your arm. You are definitely your mamma's daughter--and you two are ADORABLE!!! :):):)
Oh no, good luck Mia 😭😭 and thank you for sacrificing your face for this vid!! I can only imagine the chemicals they put in that makeup 🥲
If you want products like this, buy from elf. Makeup isn’t cheap, 8-10 products could end up as $60 and you have to know that going into makeup. Do NOT buy from brands like these, you can find more responsibly sourced and better products from elf.
shop miss a as well!
All i buy and put on my face is ELF and Pacifica products🥰
My daughter recognizes Mia’s voice now. When I start a video, She tries to say it with her “Hey guys so today we’re doing a very exciting video”
As someone who has experience with stage makeup, those foundations/concealers look shockingly close to grease paint, and I wouldn't be surprised if they were considering how cheap it is to produce.
