They will send that email to any youtuber with any connection to the type of product. Plus if it's a paid sponsorship they could still get the product to her. They just assume her main audience is American so they don't really care if she is or not.
i follow a girl on YT and sometimes she is promoting a brand that ships only in US but she is from and lives in the UK. Kinda weird if u ask me but money is money i guess
I am a fan of Flower Knows makeup. They had collection with rococo, it was amazing, and then chocolate and then stawberry and now moon mermaids. Their liquid lipsticks are so velvety and soft, so unique. I've never ever had something similar on my lips. And their glosses are not sticky!!!
Wow I need the Flower moon lipgloss. I didn’t know there was a lipgloss that wasn’t sticky! Way too pretty for my makeup storage, wish I had a makeup desk but all I have is a Cat Mom bag. Seriously I cannot imagine paying $35 for a hand mirror.
Idk what went into your nail prep before the polygel but filing down the surface of your nail and dehydrating it is a must! It makes any product last longer since the natural nail is very smooth and has a lot of natural oils
And in general i think the reviews are questionable because people dont know how to use this correctly since it seems easy but its really not for someone who doesnt know anything about this
@@CuddleBear07you prob either over-filed or didn’t prep correctly. Usually if it’s the Polly gel that popped off, you didn’t properly build the structure or maybe your nail wasn’t completely dry and free of oil
love how they were both like "I'll be relieved if it comes off quickly" and "omg I want it off now" but then the second Mia asked if Mama Maples wanted one too she was immediately like "YES"
Hi, nail DIYer here! For polygel, i find it so much easier to stick the polygel container in hot water for a few minutes. Makes it easier to maneuver ☺️
I follow the creators of Flower Knows (Baozi and Hana) and they worked really hard on their brand. I'm happy to see that they're as good as advertised.
@@mercedesvelasquez8781 I feel like they target different customers. P.Louise seems to cater to professional makeup artists and Flower Knows targets the casual makeup user/collector (bc of fancy packaging)
Hello! As a doctor's assistant, I clean/rinse ears fairly often. Your ears do not need to be cleaned on the inside at all! (unless an earwax plug happens) Also by using this ear cleaning device, you are at risk of puncturing your eardrum and also highly likely to develop ear infections as the tube probably will fill up with bacteria. Please leave your inner ear alone or go to your GP! I've seen some nasty stuff in my days from these things!
@@Іапа In that case you go to your GP or ear specialist to get it done professionally. As I am trained and know what to do you'll be fine. The advice to NEVER use a device at home still stands.
I would love to see an in depth review of the hair device. Absolute love how real and honest you are. You are one of the very few i trust to give a honest in depth review of products.
I have psoriasis on my scalp too, and it usually itches like crazy, then it hurts because it gets irritated. Considering how much I spend on shampoo for psoriasis, if a brush like that works, it would save me money in the long run. So yes please on an extensive review!
Honestly idk why hair turning grey is something we’d want to hide like how cool is Mama Maple’s hair? Just think of how unique it is to be rocking two different NATURAL hair colours at the same time
it's about embracing the change I think. My mom dyes her hair dark and while she's 62, people take her for up to 20 years younger thanks to that. She prefers hiding it but I don't think she's gonna have trouble changing to natural at some point. Nothing wrong with both styles imo
Oh I am so happy to see a review of the flower knows by someone I actually trust! Thank you so much Mia! Also, would 100% love to see the full length trial of the micro current brush.
Sadly, the same mindset.....like mother, like daughter. I guess we can see how the ability to be proactive, and think out of the box about a dangerous situation, goes out the window. It's people like this that end up saying "Hindsight is 20/20".
I would be so careful using that product. My grandfather had his eardrum damaged during an ear cleaning, and a nurse was doing that one. Always make sure someone who knows what they are doing cleans or your ears and that the water jet isn't too powerful.
Yes Mia! We would love to see you test out the hair oil/red light thingy for a few months! My partner’s hair is thinning a little bit and we have been wanting to find a good way to help her with this. It would be super helpful to know if it actually works and what potential side effects there are
@theashire2239 If you're going to get a red light therapy buy a professional large light. It's worth it. It's worth it for you it's worth it for your partner. It's worth it for anyone and everyone it's awesome. Do not get the gimmick helmet or face mask or brush. By the professional light. And the stand. Trust me. Absolutely worth it. So is a terahertz wand.. incredible results.. I'm sorry guys I tried to post a comment I guess it didn't post. I have the Hooga absolutely love it... I have the largest one They offer with the stand as well... So Hooga & Biomax are really the top companies... The only two I would suggest would be the pro 1500 or the pro 4500.. those two are worth it seriously worth it... I'm so sorry I had no idea the comment didn't post.
I used the ordinairy hair serum for a while and i started to see results. I had tinning hair at the front and my hair did appear thicker after 3 months. (Sorry for anny spelling mistakes)
Polygel is so much fun! I've been doing my own nails for years with polygel. I started with dual forms and now I use tips and hand sculpt them. They last for a very long tome too.
❗️some important notes on some of the products health-wise: •teeth gems: they can trap plaque and the glue is definitely not safe to have anywhere near your mouth, nor is it the right type of adhesive so the gems are likely to fall off and may be accidentally ingested (if you go to a dentist for temporary tooth gems they will apply the gems with dental bonding agents- similar to how braces are done) though in both cases if you have sensitive teeth from worn enamel it can hurt •gel nail polish: as Mia mentions in the video, you can develop an allergy to acrylates from (any!!) gel nail polish (though it is more likely to happen when applied at home due people getting the gel polish on the skin and/or not curing the gel for long enough meaning the chemicals in the gel can seep into the skin). ⚠️ VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: this is particularly bad as an allergy to acrylates doesn’t just mean no more gel nail polish- acrylates are also found in glue used in orthodontic procedures (eg: knee and hip replacements !!), bandage adhesive, dental bonding agents, molds for orthodontic devices, period pads (😳), hair products, eyelash glue and many more things !! •ear flushing devices: ear flushing should only be done by a professional and is only needed if you have blocked ears and ear drops (eg: olive oil drops from your local pharmacy) haven’t worked (ear drops should also be used first anyway to soften the wax first otherwise you risk perforating your eardrum with the hard wax !), there is also a risk of the water being sprayed pushing the earwax further into the ear canal (even when done professionally)
thank you omg there was so much dangerous things on this videos, i hope she's okay especially with the gel nail polish it's so dangerous and easy to get allergic to that !!!
Omg YES! while I appreciate Mia testing these out, I'd be so so so careful about anything going into the ear canal, ESPECIALLY water. Swimmers ear is no joke. I really hope she used distilled water.
If contact on your skin with gel nail polish can cause an acrylate allergy and all those other things have acrylates that also touch your skin, why isn’t it as likely to develop an allergy from those? (Not me being condescending btw, I know the risks of gel nail polish I’m just genuinely curious about this.)
This kind of videos makes me appreciate how Mia doesn't make this channel about sellling us things, for me it shows respects and says good things about her.
We are all curious about all these things. It's a lovely channel to take the time to show us . She spends a lot of money on the stuff, it's great knowing if something is a waste
@@TryMyMartini lol 😆. So you'd prefer everyone just go buy bad stuff, like reviews don't exist for us to refer to as well? Videos provide visuals as well as comment. I’m definitely interested in seeing a full video of that hair product!! I suffer with dandruff extremely bad and lately it’s been as worse as it has ever been. I’ve tried many of different hair products that’s supposed to help but does not. So I’d love to see if this helps any with your scalp!
Same. I only (to my knowledge) deal with around my hairline these little patches of less growth that the rest of my hair. They kinda look like the pics the website showed. And my hair is less voluminous than it used to be. So if be super curious if something like this could help with growth. Maybe then I'd finally put my hair up without feeling insecure of these almost bald patches.
I work for L'occitane shop and we have a shampoo that is awsome, it lifts up the dandruff after first use and then it just falls off and your hair is breathing again. Maybe try it out :)
@@nastjav8 thanks for the input! I’ll have to check it out and see, I just feel absolutely defeated when I’ve tried so many things and nothing seems to help at all.
You’ve probably already tried, but TGel shampoo and conditioner has been amazing at clearing my dandruff, and I also use Head & Shoulders shampoo too! I hope you can get it sussed, I was always so self conscious when it was really bad!
@@TheJessEdit I just saw a video about using the TGel and that was my next go to into trying so I’ll definitely grab some soon and try it! The most Head and shoulders did for me is some what help with the itchiness. But so little that I wouldn’t use again. ): I’ve recently been trying different things because it’s just worsened basically over the past year and has been super irritating lately.
Ok i definitely want a long term review of the brush. Most channels that review products like this don't do long term testing and also don't have problems that these products should help with anyway.
Thanks Mia for all you do and your mom and Dad! You have brought me smiles when no one else did. You really do help people doing what you do...don't ever doubt your gift to bring joy and laughter and saving people money! Love ya!!
My golf teammate in college was from Switzerland and she had diamonds implanted in her canines like mama maples was describing. Honestly loved it and she slayed lmfao ill never forget her.
Love you so much mia! Thank you for mentioning the allergy warning with Beetles. They have a reputation of users developing allergies (including myself). If anyone is wanting to use gel products please make sure it isn't on your skin before curing it!! A lil extra care can go a long ways to preventing a permanent allergy.
beetles products and any product that doesn’t have a dedicated high quality UV lamp can give you allergies.. even if they never touch your skin - it’s because gel needs a 90% cure to be safe… but at 50% cure - gel is hard to the touch, all the way thru - so unless the brand formulates a lamp & the gel polish to work in tandem with each other - it means it’s likely their gels are only curing a little over 50% in most lamps. who knows if even the best lamps could cure them to 90%?
yess omg, i was already thinking "oh no" when i saw how the underneath of the nails was thick and touching her skin and was also touching around the cuticles as well. i'm glad she eventually ended up finding out about it so she can be more careful next time, as well as warned others about it. it's pretty common for people new to using gel and acrylics to not know about the possible dangers of developing an allergy to these products.
@@MiaMaples It took just one exposure with uncured gel and a tiiiny cut on my cuticle to become allergic to acrylates! I now can't get my nails done OR use medical adhesive without a big painful reaction.
@@braelinnbjerklie2144it’s a cheapy brand. They don’t care. I have an adhesive allergy and eczema so I just go to a salon. It’s NOT worth it. Even if beetles works for years for you - one day and boom blisters.

I am obsessed with Flowerknows 😭😭. I'm so happy you reviewed it. I actually noticed the mirror in the teeth gem clip and got super happy that you're into Flowerknows.
The lint thing also works great on old rugs and carpets and furniture! You can use it on nearly any textile (use your common sense or Google if unsure lol). Have fun!
as a nail DIYer i am a bit shocked you tried the polygel because I haven't tried it myself. and yes they were most likely too thin, for extensions you need to build an apex. and prep your nails well before applying 😁 I'd love to see u try more nail things safely without getting allergic of course
i do my own nails too and polygel with dual forms are my least favorite products to use, it really is soo messy and frustrating and not really all that time saving. now the full cover gel tips with gel glue 👌😙 my fave hands down lol

For the first time doing poly gel you did really really good. 2 hours is not a bad time at all. I find the underside of the nail always requires finagling during and after application unfortunately. Sometimes I use paper nail forms with the dual sculpt nail, and while fiddly to work with, it does give me a smoother underside of my nails.
I was looking to see if anyone brought up advice to the underside of the nail lol.. my mom and I do them and we smooth the underside with a brush before we cure it and that has helped alot tho we have never tried the "Beetle" brand.
@@kendrawollam8474same! I’m literally scouring the comments for this. No offence to our girl, but anyone whose good at anything should know you can’t judge a product by the amateur using it 😅 I use & enjoy Beetles products too 💘
Can we just take a moment to appreciate how transparent Mia is with her reviews? I love that she tries all products she sponsors to make sure that her reviews are honest for us! 💜
The flower knows makeup packaging is stunning and I agree the lip product was the best of what you tried from there. I also think the lint remover was a nice product as well and so was the polygel. It would be great to see a full review of the hair brush! You're the best Mia💖
Mia! I have been doing my nails at home for years now and I started out with polygel. You're doing great! You can use rubbing alcohol instead of slip solution to save some coin and you can also take a clean brush swipe or two on the bottom side of the nail right before curing to help get rid of the bulging (it happens to all of us, maybe use a little less product for shorter nails). Lastly, you can wipe off the tacky layer with that rubbing alcohol to help keep your hands from getting sticky and spreading the "inhibition layer" onto your skin 😊
Allergies to gel is no joke, either. I tried to get into doing gel nails at home and wound up with an allergy so bad around my fingernails that even fabric touching them hurt for months. The idea of the forms and pressing them is a neat idea though. Just be careful everyone!
Yes read the comments above, it is good to talk to a doctor if you have a surgery in the future..for hip replacement, pacemaker for example. Thanks for warning people.
It happened to me to😢 it was HORRIBLE! The skin was red, inflamed, itching and it fell of 3 fingers, I only did my nails 3 times, I was so mad at my self for not knowing this, I have been afraid to do anything to my nails and I'm hopingthe allergy didn't fully developed.
@@sailuna9195 Did it happen literally with the gel making contact or was it because you left some on your skin accidentally and then cured it? Because I'm pretty sure irritation and pain comes from the gel heaitng up on your skin when curing but maybe it is also possible to have reactions to the raw gel
Just watched the video to see what you thought of flower knows. I absolutely fell in love with their mermaid lipglosses and I tell everyone about them. I can't wait to get more of their stuff.
I've tried Beetles gel polish before (not the polygel)! One thing I will note is that their bottles dry a LOT faster than other gel brands I've tried. It could've been that my bottles were sitting in the warehouse for a bit before shipping, so maybe not everyone's will dry that fast, but just wanted to make a note in case anyone sees this comment!
I've been using beetles gel polish for a fair few years and I've found that mine doesn't necessarily dry up it just goes really sticky? Although it could be me not putting lids on correctly but just wanted people to know! If people do decide to try gel PLEASE be careful of allergies!!
i found a hack for this that works! put the bottles in a cup of hot water for a few minutes and the polish will thin out a lot and be easier to work with!!
@@wookiwoo2798i’m so so glad thank u for letting me know! 🫶 i do it every time now too. i noticed the glittery polishes are always thick & hard to apply without it

Mia I think this is an amazing idea. I'm very interested in how the whole sponsoring process works. Especially for very successful influencers. I think it is so amusing when the product is so bad having you show it on their channel can be the end of your business yet they don't seem to consider it.
I love how you and mama maples went from freaking out about the ingredients in the gem glue, to instantly her agreeing to it as well. You guys are a rollercoaster I love it 🤣🤍
Its crazy how Mia risks her health for us trying these brands and products so we don’t have to 💖 Edit: when I posted this comment it was before I watched the video and I know recently Mia has been testing Temu makeup products and other things so I didn’t just mean this video and I just was joking about her risking her health. Jeez
Hi, on the other hand, do not like it when she risks her health for a product review. I think we fans do her a disservice by encouraging her to do that.
Beetles is not a bad brand at all. I use their gel nail polishes. I have two sets currently: the drunk on wine jelly set and the sandstorm set. Plus their base and top. And I'm waiting for the skintone set to arrive as it was out of stock when ordering other stuff. I've even used the base and top with a few other brands I own and even over regular nail polish and it works great. About the allergy thing... Most people can develop allergies to nail products such as acrylic and gel. It usually happens if left on the skin (for gel) and if the acrylic bead is too wet and the product can be absorbed by the nail. In most cases it is avoidable if one knows how to use these products. If not of course you might get a reaction which is probably what happened there. This is a fairly popular brand so many people getting into gel may not have the advanced skills to do it and mess it up causing allergies to happen. And because it is such a popular brand used by people of all kids and ages and levels of expertise there's going to be a lot of reviews. Even negative if the customer isn't versed in using the product. Hope this clears something up for the concerned people. For context: I love nail polish and doing my own nails. I'm not licences. I'm an amateur. I did acrylic and it didn't work. It lifts really easily. And I'm now doing a gel-x type of nail. And some have lasted me over a month now.
Idk just seems irresponsible to promote these, beetles is known to cause gel allergies because of the ridiculously high levels of hema they contain. They should not be promoted
I didn't have to fast forward the first 20% of the video before getting to actual content. THANK YOU. I'm sick of being a cash cow from all angles and this was a breath of fresh air.
Flower knows is legitimately an amazing brand. Their owners are some of the most creative other I've ever met and Their love for each other shows through in every piece of makeup they produce. Baozi will do everything to make Hana happy and it shows in Hana creating such beautiful work. For a company that started from a love of makeup and being two of the worlds most recognized cosplayers and Gay couple, to a makeup brand influencers everywhere know about. You're lucky to have them want to sponsor you. If you decide to let them, you will be treated right. They don't believe in falsehoods or false advertising. They know their makeup isn't for everyone. They're not trying to be popular in the West. They are making products for use in China and for prime that want to take food care of themselves without looking like the majority of the influencers with heavy looks. I will never not support Baozi and Hana
I'd love to see a full review of the brand. Usually when the packaging is super amazing, the product is...well not. Like the hand mirror, that is way overpriced IMO but if it fits your aesthetic then I could see someone splurging but with the actual cosmetics, I'd want to be sure they were decent quality before I pop off because of the amazing packaging.
I'm really glad FlowerKnows got featured here! I used to follow Hana and Baozi for their cosplays, and have always been intrigued by the makeup brand Hana started
the price of their stuff is hella inflated on their global website compared to their chinese website(taobao), but i’ve seen some ppl say it’s not as pigmented, there’s a couple of reviews on tiktok
@@Serasesera I'm assuming it's geared towards the consumer level right? 'general public' sort of thing - I suspect (I haven't used it or looked at it beyond this video mind you) that it doesn't hold up to the more professional makeup brands (particularly those in the "west"). I'd love to find out how long wearing it is, how it works under editorial conditions, does it hold up as well as it looks in their product photos? Things like that. Pretty packaging is great and all but the product is what you're supposed to be buying, not the container and if the product 'isn't up to snuff' then it's not worth being wrapped in silk. There's another, similar brand I've seen on (without sounding awful) asian diorama videos (they made the packaging into a diorama) who make - what seems like - a more premium, metal version of this sort of stuff. Again, can't comment on the longevity of the makeup but the boxes themselves are _beautiful_ (one range I looked up - they only ship to asian countries - was peacock inspired with real mother of pearl, iirc real silver details and swarovski gems but the blusher alone was over £200 GBP (after conversion)). Still it seems like they have a somewhat specific, if not niche, market that is working for them - so more power to them.
I live for flower knows! It’s like an elevated version of the princess play makeup that you got as a kid. The only bad thing about them is that they’re not vegan(they have makeup brushes made with goat hair) and their shades don’t work on all skin tone(I have medium tan skin and some of their products don’t really work for my skin tone)
Yes! Another Flower Knows lover! My friend got me the Swan Princess set for my birthday and I actually adore it. I agree with you that the shades don't always work with everyone's skintone though, I'm dead pale and a couple of their other shades really don't mesh with my skin tone at all.
seeing both of you freak out over having your ears syringed was honestly the funniest moment to me. I used to have to go to the doctor all the time to have them cleaned out so seeing someone having the first experience of it was the highlight of my day lol
It's such a great feeling when you get the right branding for your business! Recently did a rebranding of my own small business and it got me so excited and motivated again after having been in a little bit of a rut 😅 Great studio vlog! Look forward to the next one ✨
Oh my freaking GOD!!! I was literally looking for a mia maples reviewing flower knows make-up like two days ago wondering if you did it, and now here it is😭😭😭 you read my freaking mind
Flower Know! I am glad you got to try it. It is one of the four brands of makeup I like using, mostly because I like cute things, and the quality is great. Seriously, it is not easy to find cute + quality sometimes. By the way, I use EMCosmetics, Too Face, Perfect Diary, and Flower Knows.
I strive to become a parent like momma maples and as confident and awesome as Mia maples. I honestly think I've watched every single Mia Maples video❤❤❤❤
I love my lint shaver! It has brought so many sweaters, pants, socks - whatever - back to life. I have only a single head unit that came with 2 extra blades and a cleaning brush. Had it for years and I think I paid around $13 for it.
Honestly, a good pill remover/shaver for sweaters is game changing. You can keep even really cheaply made sweaters looking brand new. The little lint/pilling that happens around the underarm area is my biggest issue. Especially for any sweater made with synthetic fibers, like acrylics.
0:02 just want to say I’m happy I found this Channel because it’s so hard to find a positive and has the bubbly personality that is rare to find keep going ❤❤
Definitely be wary of gel polish! Beetles are definitely budget friendly but that also means it's more likely to cause an allergic reaction, and as soon as you develop an allergy to gel there's no going back. I had to quit doing nail art in 2021 because of dermatitis, and I was devastated 😭 definitely not for people who are casual, messy nail-painters.
Yep they should not be promoted at all with how much hema they contain. I cringed when i saw her nails with gel flooding her cuticles knowing how likely it is that beetles will give her a gel allergy.
@pay1370 Agreed! I wish I'd taken the warnings I did see a little more seriously. However, I don't blame people for trying it because the companies who sell cheap kits like this do not put across how dangerous they can be.
Seen so many people who have reacted to the Beetles Brand. Not nice 😱 Buying nail products that aren’t professional especially when you’re not qualified is not good. I wouldn’t be happy if my surgeon picked up my knee replacement at TEMU 🤣🤣🤣
"omg that's crazy glue" Panic and worry befalls their face, thinking that was not a good idea. Mia: "Do you want one?" ... Mama Maples: 'Yeah" (all worry disappears and questioning disappears instantly) 🤣🤣🤣
Honestly Mia.. watching your videos gives me so much relaxation for some reason? they're so aesthetically pleasing 🌈 from your face to your style to the editing and the overall content. thank you so much 🥰
I came here to warn you about the allergies with nail products. Then you addressed it. It’s no joke! I am now allergic to anything with HEMA and can only use HEMA free products now, which is limiting. My allergy causes itching turning into blisters then the skin peels off. Please be careful.
With the poly gel and the dual forms you are supposed to flip your hand over, so you can spread out the underside of the nail before you cure it. Also look at the edges and clean off any that has pressed out around the sidewalls and the cuticle before you cure the nail.
Hey Mia, if you remove your cuticles and buff your nails before applying the base coat for the polygel, they last over a month :) but either way, that application for your first time was so great, they looked very clean!
Hi Mia ! I hope you accept Flower Knows' collab, their products are so perfect for you! They have this swan collection, and I'm hoping you could review it as well 🥰
Nobody has really said anything about it, so I will say it. I love that when you said "I got to rock out" that you played Shake It by Meteor Station that is one of my favorite songs, and the second I heard it I immediately recognized it! I was super happy to hear It! That just brightened up my entire day! It also made me want to listen to the song so I immediately started playing it.
OMG, Mia's reaction was literally me last year for the first 2 weeks of braces, it made me laugh so much cause it brought back recent memories. 3:13-3:20
For the poly gel you have to smooth the bottom out as well before you cure it, so once you put the forms on just flip your hand over and use the brush with the slip solution to make sure the bottom is not bulky but not too thin that it breaks. I usually do mine with tips it lasts longer but with proper prep work those babies stay on for a while even if I don't use tips.
i just came here for flower knows hahaha i bought some stuff in china while i was there (it was so hard to find tho) because it is quite pricey online and i didn't want to spend a lot on a product that maybe sucks. but after testing, i was so amazed by the quality of the eyeshadow, they are so silky, so pigmented...honestly so worth the money. i bought so much ever since.
19 minutes in and you mentioned Holo Taco. I’ve been wondering since the video started because it looked like a Holo Taco topper!! Yes!!! HT is the freaking best!
Hi hun!! Love your videos. I have been doing polygel on my nails for a few months and honestly I love it. A little tip and trick I have loved to use with Polygel Is that it has to be shaped with the brush under when you put it on before the UV. You put it on your nail then shape and then UV. That way it last more time and it doesn't get messy under. It last me around 2 weeks most of the time. You are amazing! Love your videos ❤❤
I love the old Mia, but I also love the new Mia who is starting to show her new personality! Love you so much girl, never stop being your amazing self ❤
Crazy how they’re gonna try to get you to promote their product but they don’t even ship to your country
They probably just find youtubers who are doing well and send them offers. I wouldn't be surprised if they don't actually watch the videos.
They will send that email to any youtuber with any connection to the type of product. Plus if it's a paid sponsorship they could still get the product to her. They just assume her main audience is American so they don't really care if she is or not.

Idk what went into your nail prep before the polygel but filing down the surface of your nail and dehydrating it is a must! It makes any product last longer since the natural nail is very smooth and has a lot of natural oils

I follow the creators of Flower Knows (Baozi and Hana) and they worked really hard on their brand. I'm happy to see that they're as good as advertised.
They also give P. Lousise a run for her money but personal opinion I like the package of Flower Knows far better then P. Louise
@@mercedesvelasquez8781 I feel like they target different customers. P.Louise seems to cater to professional makeup artists and Flower Knows targets the casual makeup user/collector (bc of fancy packaging)
I had no idea it was their brand! Good to know.
Omg the fact that I literally have their photobooks and autographs AND love Flower Knows makeup but did not know they were the founders is so crazy 😂😂
I'm glad someone mentioned this! A lot of people have no idea and I think it's amazing how far they've come
Yep. A lot of people don't realize that earwax is actually there to protect your ears and usually shouldn't be removed
i got horrendous ear infections all my life and since I started using qtips i havent had once since.
@@mmmbepis8643not if youre me who randomly gets too much earwax which makes it so can’t hear
I did that and got a perforated eardrum, and now I have to get a hearing aid

Mama Maples confidence is something I admire!
My mom was hoping hers came in all white😂
it's about embracing the change I think. My mom dyes her hair dark and while she's 62, people take her for up to 20 years younger thanks to that. She prefers hiding it but I don't think she's gonna have trouble changing to natural at some point. Nothing wrong with both styles imo
my mom always hides it and doesnt want to let it get gray even if i tell her it doesnt matter😭

Polygel is so much fun! I've been doing my own nails for years with polygel. I started with dual forms and now I use tips and hand sculpt them. They last for a very long tome too.
Have u ever tried dual forms over the tips? Amazing!
❗️some important notes on some of the products health-wise:
•teeth gems: they can trap plaque and the glue is definitely not safe to have anywhere near your mouth, nor is it the right type of adhesive so the gems are likely to fall off and may be accidentally ingested (if you go to a dentist for temporary tooth gems they will apply the gems with dental bonding agents- similar to how braces are done) though in both cases if you have sensitive teeth from worn enamel it can hurt
•gel nail polish: as Mia mentions in the video, you can develop an allergy to acrylates from (any!!) gel nail polish (though it is more likely to happen when applied at home due people getting the gel polish on the skin and/or not curing the gel for long enough meaning the chemicals in the gel can seep into the skin).
I work in an audiology clinic, I can attest to the last point ☺️ specifically olive oil works really well.
Omg YES! while I appreciate Mia testing these out, I'd be so so so careful about anything going into the ear canal, ESPECIALLY water. Swimmers ear is no joke. I really hope she used distilled water.
Beetles is a special kind of terrible though, with how much HEMA it contains it's way more likely to cause allergies

I got a gel pedicure at a spa and it ruined my poor toenails. Definitely allergic. Good to for people know because I didn’t know until after….
Yup, I developed an allergy after using it too... Didn't even know it could happen until it was too late :/
I am SO SO glad that you mentioned the gel allergy! I was dying inside when I saw the product all over your cuticles!
yess omg, i was already thinking "oh no" when i saw how the underneath of the nails was thick and touching her skin and was also touching around the cuticles as well. i'm glad she eventually ended up finding out about it so she can be more careful next time, as well as warned others about it. it's pretty common for people new to using gel and acrylics to not know about the possible dangers of developing an allergy to these products.
honestly so sad that an allergy can come on so quickly!!
@@MiaMaples It took just one exposure with uncured gel and a tiiiny cut on my cuticle to become allergic to acrylates! I now can't get my nails done OR use medical adhesive without a big painful reaction.

Your Mom is just the absolute best! You two are so cute together. I love it when the Maples girls get together❣
Same here ! I hope Mia saw this comment 🙏🙏🙏
Allergies to gel is no joke, either. I tried to get into doing gel nails at home and wound up with an allergy so bad around my fingernails that even fabric touching them hurt for months. The idea of the forms and pressing them is a neat idea though. Just be careful everyone!

@@sailuna9195 Did it happen literally with the gel making contact or was it because you left some on your skin accidentally and then cured it? Just watched the video to see what you thought of flower knows. I absolutely fell in love with their mermaid lipglosses and I tell everyone about them. I can't wait to get more of their stuff.

I've tried Beetles gel polish before (not the polygel)! One thing I will note is that their bottles dry a LOT faster than other gel brands I've tried. I've been using beetles gel polish for a fair few years and I've found that mine doesn't necessarily dry up it just goes really sticky? Although it could be me not putting lids on correctly but just wanted people to know! If people do decide to try gel PLEASE be careful of allergies!!

Edit: when I posted this comment it was before I watched the video and I know recently Mia has been testing Temu makeup products and other things so I didn’t just mean this video and I just was joking about her risking her health. Jeez
This sounds so messed up out of context haha
Flower knows isn’t sketchy

Soooo.. They test on animals? That's a no for me 😢
I live for flower knows!

Recently did a rebranding of my own small business and it got me so excited and motivated again after having been in a little bit of a rut 😅
Great studio vlog!
Oh Mia watching you grow from a pre teen making videos to a married lady, it’s lovely watching you grow young lady
I agree. It can cause issues in knee replacements in the future too.
Yep they should not be promoted at all with how much hema they contain. I cringed when i saw her nails with gel flooding her cuticles knowing how likely it is that beetles will give her a gel allergy.
@@ashleighalexandra1290 oh, good to know with hyper-mobile and arthritic knees 🙃😳
I would love to see a full length review of the Flo. You’re always adorable and bring cool stuff to us! 🥰
Honestly Mia.. watching your videos gives me so much relaxation for some reason? they're so aesthetically pleasing 🌈 from your face to your style to the editing and the overall content. thank you so much 🥰
You are my comfort watch Mia!! Sending this to my mom because I feel like she’s my bestie like your mom❤
I love how Mia puts so much energy and love Mama Mias smile ❤
They have this swan collection, and I'm hoping you could review it as well 🥰
I love your mom. She reminds me of my mom. You two are so cute together!❤
Who thinks Mia is the best world’s best UA-camr ever!!❤ (first)
me!!
I love her sm!❤❤❤
I’d give this comment 3 👍🏼’s up if I could. She’s such a wholesome joy!! 😄

The fact that she talk to Mia as if she is a little girl is so heart warming ❤️❤️
*Metro Station
OMG, Mia's reaction was literally me last year for the first 2 weeks of braces, it made me laugh so much cause it brought back recent memories.

I came here to say the same thing. Also, wipe the tacky layer off with isopropyl alcohol before you shape the nails...
@@kathyb6519 true true. I learnt that the hard way the first time I did them. My poor nail file 😅
For the blue beautiful bottle of liquid lipstick: it’s a blotting lipstick! So you put a little in the center and blot outwards. Sooo pretty on you ❤❤
i just came here for flower knows hahaha i bought some stuff in china while i was there (it was so hard to find tho) because it is quite pricey online and i didn't want to spend a lot on a product that maybe sucks. but after testing, i was so amazed by the quality of the eyeshadow, they are so silky, so pigmented...honestly so worth the money. i bought so much ever since.
